Apartment located in the outskirts of the center of Porto, ideally located to enjoy the Atlantic coast The staff is top, and listen to you if necessary. The rooms are in accordance with the descriptions and the service is done daily. With regard to breakfast, there are for all the tastes, sugars, salts, different kinds of bread, cereals, fresh fruit juices... briefly, the embarrass of choice.

I used it for business. The room is large and clean. The bed was ２ and the size was sufficient. The refrigerator gets cold well. I have a TV, but I didn't watch it at all. I'm glad there is a bathtub. Breakfast mainly served fried eggs, tomatoes and bacon, but yogurt, fruits, salads, cheese and juice are also substantial. There is also a pool, but it was not available for seasonal patterns. The air conditioning works well. The bar is open until late. There is also a wide variety of sake.

The hotel is a modern hotel with large rooms, light and comfortable. It is recommended because it is near the airport, if you have to stay**** one night do not hesitate to choose this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

I would like to make a comment on the Novotel because I was really surprised by the positive, I was going without great expectations, I saw some comments that mentioned the old and lack of modernity, and that is not the reality. The hotel is wonderful. The entrance is huge, staff are super friendly and make it easy to stay. We stay in a room with sea view. With a good bathroom, with a large bathroom. The room's closet is huge! The room was very nice, with a decoration, and cozy. The room was air conditioned and a mini bar included in the price of all the drinks of the room. The restaurant was very beautiful. The pool was very good. The water was always brown. I assessed the Novotel with a 9 and I don't give a 10 for the size of the pool. It is a very good hotel and looked for families with children, which makes the pool always full. As for breakfast, I also want to give a praise, because it is quite varied and they never let things end. I liked it very much

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Porto. Good communication with bus near the door and perfect if you are going on car. The cleaning is extraordinary, both in the rooms and in the rest of the stays. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel is very friendly and helpful and the staff are always able to find a solution to our consultations with a smile (flats, reception, buffet) The right breakfast. This hotel is away from the centre of Porto but the tram stop is only a minute away. I asked for a quiet room, I had one at the back and it was ideal. The bar is off the Reception area. is very small and lacks a**osphere. The restaurant on the top floor has lovely views, I only ate dinner there once and it was OK. Staff were very helpful at all times. The variety available at breakfast varied from day to day, it was probably what one would expect in a 3* Hotel.

Stayed four night as a base for Porto centre. Would give it 3.5 if possible to use halfs. Rooms were clean although showing signs of wear. Bed made up daily and fresh towels. Lack of shelf space in cupboard. Used for breakfast once but also tried the Mitica Inspiracao out of the back door twice for a more relaxed setting and no temptation to overfill v the buffet. Shower has good temperature and flow. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nearby supermarket for anything you need. The bus from the airport took 50 mins during the morning midweek, and initially goes away from the hotel before heading back towards it. If I was doing it again I would take the Metro to Ramalde the nearest stop and then get an Uber to the hotel. The airport Metro is just behind the road at arrivals. Bus 304 seemed the quicker bus than the 300 or 301 into town. Had issues with bus reliability getting back from town after 8pm using information from route planner on Google maps .. chasing round various bus stops near the Town Hall Square to no avail. Ended up prefering to get the Metro back to Ramalde and then €3 for an Uber. Opted to use luggage lockers at Trindade Metro, €6 small for upto 12 hours rather than detour back to the hotel on the last day. Other sizes available but limited availability.

Good location, big room and very clean. The staff are nice and helpful. There are supermarkets and small shopping malls within a 2-minute walk, and a taxi stand opposite the hotel.

This place is actually an old motel that has clearly gone bankrupt and still tries to get naive customers to a trap. It smells of mold, there is no shower ( just a broken whirlpool ), there is no maintenance and the staff is clearly unwilling to look after the guests. To make it worse - if possible - they tried to cheat Booking pretending I was not there ( although I have my credit cards statements to prove ) just not to pay their commission. When I wrote this on the Booking review the owner was extremely impolite and aggressive , as his plote was denounced. Honestly, it makes no sense staying there even if it was for free. Run away from this joint!!
