"The room facilities are clean, small and beautiful.
It's just opposite the main street shopping mall, which is really convenient. It is very convenient to take the tram to Dogo Onsen. You can get on the tram right in front of the hotel. internationality
Shopping and strolling are super convenient. Like it very much.
I will choose to stay here next time."
"This is the garden suite that I set for the first night. It is located on the B1 floor of the hotel's annex, which is the first floor. I like it at first sight when facing the garden landscape. Facilities are very complete, humidifier Bluetooth speaker coffee maker and so on, as well as very comfortable mobile hammock! It is really comfortable to lie in the sun and read a book and listen to music. The hotel only has a mini Japanese local TV, but stay in this hotel and don't think about watching TV and experience the beautiful environment! I booked a two-day spa, signature massage and body & facial care package, to relax and unwind. The outdoor pool is only open from June to September, but you can still walk to the front to see the scenery. It is highly recommended to order breakfast and dinner because the hotel restaurant arranges every meal so well, I stayed for four nights without repeating the dishes all day. The hotel also provides airport transfers and round-trip taxis within Matsuyama Castle. A single trip of 3300 yen is a good deal. In short, I will come again in another season."
"It's really close to Dogo Onsen, so it's perfect for those who want to enjoy Dogo Onsen and the hot spring town, but want a reasonable accommodation. At first glance, the entrance is small and you might wonder if it's the right place, but inside the hotel has a great atmosphere. The room and futon were great. I stayed there with a friend from Tokyo, and everyone was very satisfied."

"The scenic spots such as Dogogo Onsen and Matsuyama Castle are very close. The tram is very convenient. This trip was very pleasant. I also went to Shimanami Kaido to ride a bicycle. This is a world-class cycling attraction. I highly recommend going there once in a lifetime."
"It was not the latest facilities, but it was clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and it was good not crowded.
Especially the room was large for the price, the breakfast and dinner were very good, the large bath was satisfactory, and the open-air bath was good.
However, I have to pay a bath tax of 150 yen per person (600 yen for two days for two people) a day. When I made an appointment, there was no such content at all, so it was not a big amount, but I felt a little uncomfortable."
"It was nice that the inside of the building had a white-based atmosphere and was clean. At check-in, I was recommended to take a ticket for a nearby hot spring facility, but I decided to use the bath in the room.
The bathtub was deep and the bathroom itself was able to relax with a size that could not be considered in other hotels.
The room was also large and comfortable!
The wind was strong when checking out, so the front desk was worried about the wind and the response was nice"
"On the outskirts of Songshan City, it is very quiet, and the car goes to the big street for 15 minutes. The dinner package is simple, the sashimi is good, the drink buffet, the wine adds extra money, a total of 14 rooms, some rooms have their own hot springs. On the balcony. There is a Chinese guy in the store who is very convenient to communicate. The surrounding facilities are almost the same, there is no supporting facilities, a hotel on the roadside is only open until the afternoon, dinner is recommended at the hotel, there are chess mahjong, table tennis and so on. Bus 52 can go to the city and Songshan Airport every hour. If you want to soak in the hot springs, it is still quite suitable."

Amazing
GGuest UserSummary: Highly recommended!
The service in Japan is very good. The front desk of this hotel is very friendly, with English-speaking service staff, and the communication is very smooth. We did not report the baby when booking, and they helped us set up a tatami bed on site. The service details included asking about the baby's height (giving the corresponding size of kimono/bathrobe) and the size of the baby's feet (giving the baby's clogs and indoor slippers).
The room is very large and the soundproofing is very good. I slept a full night.
The hotel has a shortcut to the Dogo Onsen! It's really less than 100 meters away! Next to it is the Dogo Shopping Street, where tap water and orange juice are.
토토빈I am generally pleased with the hotel's facilities and breakfast, as they have met my expectations in many aspects. However, I believe that a more welcoming and accommodating attitude from the staff would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, improving their English proficiency, particularly in customer interactions, would be highly beneficial in providing more seamless and professional service to international visitors.
LLapThis hotel offers a distinctly international experience, with staff fluent in both Chinese and English. Parking is available for 1200 yen, with an automatic parking tower conveniently located next to the hotel. Friendly staff are on hand to assist with parking. Just simply drive your car into the designated slot, and they will handle the rest, automatically transporting it to an upper floor.
What's more, the parking fee includes unlimited access, so there's no need to worry about being charged multiple times when going out for dinner or exploring the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer nothing to complain about. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserGet off at Dogo Onsen Station and walk to the iconic Dogo Onsen Honkan. The hotel is just north of it.
There is a butler at the door who will greet you warmly when you come back. The hotel has its own orange juice tap (pay attention to the time) and a massage chair in the room. If you go out to take a bath in the three famous hot springs, a basket with towels and a yukata are provided free of charge.
The private hot spring is on the first floor underground, with one indoor and one outdoor pool. The quality of the hot spring is very good, and it feels unnecessary to queue at the door of the main building.
A hot spring tax of 150 yen per person per day is collected when checking out.
GGuest UserVery well located hotel in Dogo Onsen. Shops and restaurants around the corner. Few minutes walk to the Dogo station (tram and bus). Free good coffee for breakfast (even if you don’t buy breakfast (not expensive)). Helpful staff. Smallish room with excellent bed and shower/bath. Very good Price-Quality.
On the ‘hill’ behind the Honkan Onsen (seen from the hotel) there is an Information. They have some free short walks printed. There is also a free footbath with a view on the Honkan (and the Patio hotel).
Famous temple 51 is 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel or take a bus.
WwwhosambirThe staff at the front desk were efficient, though they came across as cold and reserved. The room was disappointing, with run-of-the-mill furniture/furnishings and a creaky chair. The lights were too dim. There was no view as the lower half of the window was blocked by a wall. On the other hand, the bathroom looked quite elegant and was kept clean.
The location is great. There are plenty of dining & shopping options nearby. The hotel has a shopping mall on the lower floors and is next to Mitsukoshi Department Store and Okaido Shopping Street. The Okaido Tram Stop is down the street. The bus stop for the airport limousine is right in front of Mitsukoshi. Attractions such as Bansuiso, Saka no Ue no Kumo Museum and the cable car to Matsuyama Castle are all within walking distance.
GGuest UserBreakfast spread is good and service staff attentive.
Location is within walking distance to Takashimaya and JR Matsumaya Station.
Bathroom is of decent size by Japanese standard.
Only issue is parking is not within the hotel and had to park 50m away and hence loading/unloading of luggage is a bit troublesome
GGuest UserGood
- location is great, 15 min walking to shopping arcade
- great view, residing right next to the river and cherry blossom.
- great service, they speak both English and Japanese and offer free parking while staying
- room is clean and tidy, and the washroom is stainless clean
Can better
- insufficient parking slot, may need to look for parking if they ares full and maybe expensive
HHUI LINGVery close to the main street (8 minutes walk), the room is big and the breakfast is good, clean and tidy. The only drawback is that there is a turbine-like sound (I don't know where it comes from? Maybe there is a machine near the room?) I will be scared by this sound in the dead of night🤣, so I don't turn off the lights when I go to bed at night😖⋯⋯Apart from this, there is nothing to complain about, everything is good
VVictorI was there at Jan 2024, and only stayed there for 2 days.
The staff there can speak English, and were nice. The second day I stayed there, the staff offered me to have hotpot with all the other people living in Fujiya, an unforgettable experience I treasured and will forever remembered. Even though it is a proxy of a Japanese family, it did feel like I have experienced the Japanese hospitality and friendliness. There were some interesting characters, who may or may not frequented Fujiya, whom I had the pleasure to have this hotpot together.
The facilities are not the best, but the basics necessities were there and no complaining from me, they have an AC there, comfortable enough for me.
The staff did explain that there is only one shower, so we might have to wait for the person to finish. However, since the location is so close to Dogo Onsen, they did recommend to go there instead, and after all, it was why i chose this location in the first place. Location is really close to the Dogo Onsen and the Yuzuki-Castle ruin, which was a lifesaver for me
I would say that all other sight-seeing locations are within walking distance as well since I did walk to all those interesting places. However, I do realize not all people like to walk like I do. To counter that, Fujiya is practically next to the tram station, which you can use it to go to many places in the city.
tldr, would recommend
