Hot spring Hotels in Metropolitan City of Bologna

I have just returned from a trip to Palazzo di Varignana during which I was assisting a wellness retreat. I have to say the level of service was exceptional, from reception (notably Carolina and Federico) to bar and restaurant staff, the spa team .... literally every department... The events team run by Stefania and the spa manager, Jennifer were always on hand, and clearly dedicated to providing a smooth and efficient service. The scientific director and nutritionist, Annamaria Acquaviva, is a wealth of knowledge and is extremely passionate and educated in her field. The grounds are beautiful, the spa is vast and well-equipped, then there is the olive oil and wine all produced from the extensive grounds. The food was incredible in every restaurant with a wide variety of healthy options to choose from, as well as some Italian classics! I would definitely recommend a trip to Palazzo di Varignana, whether you are looking for a wellness trip or just looking for some good food, excellent service and a bit of pampering!

We arrived around 1230 at night. The check in was smooth and they guy was super friendly. We booked a twin - however the room we got was a double and the beds couldn’t be split. The reception team moved us to a twin with no bother at all. The room was clean and very quiet. The beds were a little firm for our liking but it was a good night sleep. The hotel is a little dated - but we were expecting this. The breakfast was good. Your typical hotel breakfast. The free shuttle the next day was very good - had we arrived earlier the night before we would have been able to get the shuttle to the airport instead of a taxi which was around €16.00. So make sure you get the shuttle timetable from the hotel before you arrive. A pleasant one night stay.

In un non facile weekend tra Gran Premio a Imola e ponte per i vacanzieri, l'hotel era esaurito ma la tariffa ed il livello di servizio sono rimasti friendly. Moderno ed accogliente in tutto, dal parcheggio alla sala colazione.

Ci sono stato in più di un’occasione per lavoro. Ampio parcheggio riservato e struttura molto grande. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli, ampia scrivania per chi, come me, deve usarla per lavorare a pc. La colazione è un ricco buffet di ogni genere, dal dolce al salato, tutto fresco e molto buono. Comodissima e super attrezzata la palestra interna, a cui possono accedere sia i clienti dell’hotel, che gli esterni. C’è anche una bellissima area piscina esterna con bar annesso.

The hotel is very nice and has a very good price quality. Clean and large rooms. Good breakfast is especially good for the sweet part: in addition to cornets, cookies and cookies there is a nice selection of cakes and Pam cakes. There is also a dressing area and a large and comfortable parking.
