We stayed here for 4nights and enjoyed the convenience of this place. We had a rented car and parking was easy. Room was spacious and heating was very good especially in winter nights. The owners gave us free breakfast on a Sunday and it was very nice gesture. The staff and owner tried their very best to make us feel comfortable, and they are the only ones in Kusatsu that speak a little bit of English to us. All in all, this place was very convenient and fairly accessible. Thanks for having us, will surely return.

What I liked was that there was a nice seating areas inside for guests waiting for three out-door private baths and you can see which of these are available while waiting inside. It was very kind of them to do it. They have a beautiful Japanese style garden, and drinking free coffee and tea at the garden seating after the long hot spring (onsen) was the heavenly retreat.
