The experience exceeded my expectations, and I truly made the right choice. 📍Location: Convenient, tranquil amidst the bustle. Located in a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city, it's a 10-minute walk from the bustling South Street. 💁♂️Service: Attentive, caring, and proactive 24-hour butler service. 1) Arrival: Immediately contacted via WeChat upon booking. Upon arrival, a sightseeing shuttle was picked up from the Guanbei parking lot outside the city, and the staff warmly greeted me. 2) Tours: Proactive suggestions and maps were provided during outings. Even sightseeing shuttles were arranged for trips outside the city. 3) Every time I encountered the hotel staff, they were enthusiastic and helpful. 4) Check-out: A shuttle was booked to the parking lot, and a small set of aged vinegar was given as a souvenir. 🛏️Rooms: Brand-new facilities, modern comfort 1) A two-story, two-courtyard, two-story courtyard house, designed in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The tatami we booked was spacious and bright. The room was modern in design and amenities, including a tea table with Xiaodu automatic control. 2) The 4-meter king-size bed was high-quality and very comfortable. 3) The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, a powerful shower 🚿, and thick, soft towels. The pink Lefen hairdryer was both stylish and powerful. 🍵Breakfast: Jin-style snacks and aged vinegar tasting Whether it's the small buffet on the first day or the nine-square set menu on the second day, you can savor local specialties. "We chose Taotang B&B for our trip to Pingyao. It's the most personal B&B we've ever stayed in! It felt like home! I was initially drawn to Taotang by its pictures, but the experience completely changed my perception of accommodation—it's more than just a B&B; it's truly a home away from home! Tucked away in the heart of Pingyao Ancient Town, it offers a tranquil escape from the bustle. Navigating to it is easy, and the moment you step inside feels like discovering a treasure trove! The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with restaurants aplenty, so all you have to worry about is what to eat each day—there are so many delicious options. The B&B is decorated in a neo-Chinese style—simple yet sophisticated, with every detail telling a story. The room was much larger than I expected! The bed was incredibly soft, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I slept soundly without any back pain, and slept soundly through the night. In the morning, opening the curtains and letting the sunlight stream in was an instant relief! The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are from LE LABO, a niche brand under Yadai. They smell amazing and are packed with details! I have to give a special shoutout to our host, Zhang Liangwei, who helped me contact the guides for the ancient city, and the front desk lady, who was incredibly attentive. The high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, daily mung bean soup, snacks, and fruit...everything about our B&B truly reflects their thoughtfulness. This B&B made my trip to Pingyao so much more heartwarming. Not only was my stay comfortable, but I also experienced a ton of personal warmth! I've already recommended it to all my friends and anyone who wants to ”live like a local” ~ The photos are terrible, so you can refer to the B&B's own photos, which are absolutely authentic. ✨ Tips: - If the B&B has special activities (like a market tour or local snack cooking lessons), be sure to include them. - Mentioning ”details” makes it more authentic (e.g., ”There's a non-slip mat in the bathroom” or ”There's a nightlight by the bed”). - Using comparisons makes it stand out (e.g., ”It's much better than other similarly priced hotels I've stayed in before”). "Eleven went to Pingyao Ancient City and accidentally found a treasure hotel, and friends who have requirements for accommodation closed their eyes! It was very intimate from the beginning of the reservation. The butler contacted me in advance and said that he would come down to help carry the luggage when he arrived. After arriving at the store, there are fruits, dried fruits, flower tea and coffee in the lobby. After checking in, the butler pulled me into the exclusive service group, which has a butler, driver and boss, and the details are full. The room is also fully equipped: steam eye masks, disposable bedding, laundry detergent, even facial cleansers and makeup removers. The most surprising thing is the dining. It was super nice! 👌🏻 Environment: We canceled our previous hotel reservation immediately after seeing this hotel open, and it proved to be a great choice. The decor is very new, and the vibrant jujube trees in the courtyard are a real delight. The night view is also stunning, perfect for taking photos. Cleanliness: The courtyard is very clean and tidy, and the maid is diligent in cleaning. I even saw her mopping the courtyard while I was eating breakfast, which was a very pleasant experience. It's the details that really make it stand out. After my travel photography trip, I returned to the hotel to shower, turned on the speakers, and listened to music. My husband sat on the sofa. The courtyard was quiet and peaceful, creating a very relaxing atmosphere that instantly soothed the fatigue of walking around the ancient city. Breakfast: I don't think there are many breakfast options in Pingyao, but this one offers both Chinese and Western dishes, and they're very filling."

"During the Qingming Festival, I took my family to Pingyao Ancient City. We chose many folk customs and finally decided to stay at Jianshan. The overall environment is really good, and the room type is also very suitable for family travel. "This trip to Pingyao was truly eye-opening, and the smart guest room control system at Fushengge Boutique Homestay really impressed me – I have to give it a shout-out! I stayed in the ”Xianghe Family Room,” and I was immediately struck by its beauty. The room was equipped with the Xiaodu smart voice assistant, completely freeing my hands; I could handle everything with just my voice – ”Xiaodu, turn on the lights, switch to warm light mode,” instantly creating a wonderful atmosphere; ”Air conditioning 26 degrees, curtains half closed,” and the gentle evening light of the ancient city unfolded before my eyes. The smart toilet and sensor nightlights were also incredibly thoughtful details, technologically advanced yet seamlessly integrated with the brick carvings and wooden windows of the ancient house, making me feel as if I had stepped back into a Shanxi merchant's courtyard while enjoying the conveniences of modern life. The biggest surprise was that they even considered my viewing experience! The WiFi was incredibly fast, the projector screen was crystal clear, and relaxing on the zero-pressure mattress, hugging the buckwheat pillow provided by the homestay, instantly washed away all the day's fatigue. The soundproofing was also excellent; no matter how lively the ancient city was at night, closing the door created a tranquil haven. A special shout-out to the housekeeper, Brother Li! Before check-in, they sent us incredibly detailed directions and even booked tickets for the ”Encounter Pingyao” show. Upon arrival, they patiently taught us how to use their smart devices and created a guide for the ancient city – they were practically living mappers and tech gurus! The location was impeccable; a 5-minute walk to Ming and Qing Street, and we could easily visit Rishengchang, the county government office, and the city wall. After a tiring evening stroll, we simply called out ”Xiaodu, turn on the night light” in our room, and the warm yellow light against the moonlit backdrop of the ancient city was truly soothing! This trip to Pingyao was a perfect blend of the charm of the ancient city and smart comfort at Fushengge Hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pingyao! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a ”time-traveling vacation” – you'll know how amazing it is once you've stayed here!"

"This hotel is in a prime location on Main Street, right next to the famous Cheng Huang Miao temple. It offers both convenience and a sense of seclusion. Despite my room being near the main entrance, I experienced no noise or disturbances. The hotel arranged a seamless transfer from East Gate, where vehicles are permitted, to the temple, followed by a short 50-meter walk to the hotel. This service, included in the hotel package, made the arrival process effortless. Communication via WeChat and assistance from my tour guide ensured a smooth transfer both in and out. They also provided luggage assistance, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The owner… or at least, I assume he is was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. He provided useful tour information and even gifted a bottle of vinegar upon departure. Only one exception that language might be a barrier if you totally can’t speak Chinese - but fret not there’s always translator tools. The room was very comfortable and appeared newly renovated, with excellent pillows and a cozy comforter. Both the room and bathroom were clean. Amenities included disposable towels, essential toiletries, and a powerful hairdryer. We didn’t have any food here as our room didn’t come with it but that’s fine, there are plenty of options in Pingyao which you should go out to try. As a frequent guest of Marriott chains (which means I have certain level of expectations), I had to explore local options since there isn’t one in Pingyao. This hotel met my expectations, and I highly recommend it to both local and international travellers. For the reasonable price and excellent location, I have no complaints, except that I wish I had stayed two nights instead of one!"
