Excellent stay. It's a massive complex with many sections, looks beautiful day and night, perfect location near entrance gate to city wall and main roads. Room was big, clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Toiletries and breakfast included, good food. Staff very friendly, helpful and patient with my attempts at chinese/using a translator app. Overall great value, no issues at all.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, clean rooms and warm and thoughtful service. When my family members came back, they all said that the hotel we booked for them was perfect, the boss was responsible and attentive, and the pick-up at the high-speed rail station was especially great! You don't have to worry about anything at all. When you arrive at the hotel, they will provide you with a map for planning. It's so worry-free! The antique decoration style of the courtyard and the beds with zero-pressure mattresses in the rooms are so comfortable! High cost-effectiveness, not far from the center of the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is quiet and comfortable in the ancient city, and is the best choice for staying in Pingyao Ancient City.

這個一定要誇一下，要讓更多的來旅行的遊客們都知道。環境：酒店位置很不錯，就在南門停車場進來的主街上，（平遙古城主街就兩條，一條見南大街，一條叫西大街），這個酒店就在西大街正中間，其實與其説是民宿，倒不如説是一家小而精的酒店，酒店是老院子翻修的，裝修考究，風格大氣。設施：設施沒有任何問題，房間寬敞，各種功能都齊全，有普通的大床房，也有那種“炕”，能睡三四個成年人，而且值得一説的是，酒店的備品和用品都是一流大牌，這在古城這個地方，真的是上檔次的天花板了，Dyson吹風機，Hansgrohe衞浴，Duravit面盆，Le Labo洗浴用品，SUNSTAR牙膏用品，總之都是這種高端產品，讓人有些意料。服務：服務很滿意，酒店老闆會提前和客人聯繫，詢問詳細的到店時間，因為古城不讓社會車輛進入，所以酒店老闆會安排遊覽車一對一的接到酒店（退房的時候也會安排送出城門），而且酒店老闆考慮的很周全，因為是當地人，所以會和客人提供生活的一些便利，避免遊客踩抗，退房的時候還會贈送當地特色的禮品。迷你吧:所有都免費，按酒店老闆的話説，房間沒有任何二次消費，很贊！早餐:酒店住房是包含早餐的，因為酒店體量不大，所以早餐都是幾乎是按住客的需求來準備，甚至是現做現炒菜，很不錯。

I was very lucky to choose Xinyi Farm House. The proprietress was very enthusiastic. She gave a map of the ancient city and introduced the various attractions in detail. The planned route is very good. The environment is quite good, clean and hygienic. The pit is very comfortable to sleep. I sleep until dawn. The small courtyard is quite close to the scenic spot. It is very convenient to take a tour bus when you go out. The proprietress SPA is good at craftsmanship. I was fortunate to experience it and ran back to the small courtyard for a day. Meridian massage, pickup cans, relieve the fatigue of the day, in short, quite satisfied, good details must be given.

GGuest UserWe stayed at thos lovely hotel. Lovingly restored by the current owner Mr Wang. He is the 6th generation owner of the property. Until 10 years ago it was a derelict and dilapidated building. He poured money, time, blood, sweat and tears to restore it And it does feel and look like a traditional house. You feel you are going back in time. Firstly the customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Its so good, i would recommend staying with mr Wang at whatever hotel he runs. He picked us at the Lower East Gate, and brought us to the hotel, then took nearly half an hour to explain in great detail where we need to visit, whether the sights be in the city or outside the city. Some of his suggestions, not on the tour books were very good . For example he suggested 3 restaurants, and we avoided them thinking he was getting a kickback.on our 4th and last day we tried restaurant no 2 of his. And it was good , the food and service were good. The prices were average with other restaurants and we got a 10% discount being the hotel's guests. And remember we had eaten 10 meals by the time we came to his suggestions. Another suggestion of Mr Wang was Ma family home - also a very good tip from him. Everytime we had a request or question he always responded with enthusiasm. On our last day we checked out at 4am and he still took us to the pick up point at that ungodly hour. Yep Mr and Mrs Wang's customer service is just first class. The room was large, queen deluxe double, and the furnishings were traditional chinese furniture made of Rosewood. Very Expensive furniture for a hotel room. Shower worked well and was hot. However be aware its chinese style wet floor system ie there is no shower curtain between the shower and a small part of the bathroom does get wet if youare not careful. MR Wang said it will be one his improvement on his priority list. Hopefully by the time you booked the problem will have been resolved The hotel is very close to the main streets. About 5 min walk. The city of pingyao is worth visiting, it is one of the very walled cities left in China, with its old buildings intact and people still living it. All the city walls are also intact. Magnificent at night.

After arriving at the store, I found that the location is perfect, quiet in the midst of a hustle and bustle, near the intersection of the most lively Chenghuangmiao Street and South Street, and there is an exclusive walkway with a unique artistic conception. The store is fully equipped with good brands, including Midea home appliances, smart toilets, and Delixi switches and sockets. For hot water, there is a convenient and hygienic mineral water instant heater. The bathroom is equipped with free disposable toilet seats, disposable bath towels, and disposable towels, which are thick and of good quality. The toiletries are also of good quality, and there are disposable paper cups for drinking water. The temperature in the room is very good. It has floor heating, so it's not cold even in the middle of winter without turning on the air conditioner. The yard is very quiet, the living experience is very good and safe. The most important thing is that the boss is so nice. He gave us a map, introduced several attractions worth visiting in the ancient city and gave travel suggestions. The recommended restaurants were delicious and affordable, much better than those we found ourselves. When we checked out, the boss gave us two bottles of vinegar. From the rooms to the service, I can really feel the owner's attentiveness and taste. He runs this B&B as if it were his own home. If relatives and friends come to the ancient city in the future, I will definitely recommend this place first.

KK Hoffman (Canada)Fantastic ancient Chinese lodging with modern amenities. You get the chance to sleep on a Luohan bed. The room is a suite! Within Pingyao walled city, it was easy to go to visit the sites. The lady owner gave me a map. Even though I speak no Chinese and they speak no English, we were able to communicate using a translator app. She recommended a restaurant when I asked. They made the utmost effort to make your stay enjoyable. The owner took me to the railway station when I left. P.S. Best to download MAPS.ME as it will work offline. Google Maps does not work in China. The taxi will drop you outside the city wall and you can ride the shuttle to the hotel. Make sure you got the Chinese address. Also same possible, install the Wechat app as it is used widely in China - you text in English they translate to Chinese and vice versa.

RRinMMReally love the hotel’s a**osphere. It is cool both scenery and weather. There aren’t much noice and people around the hotel, a little walk and you will reach some of the tourist’s attraction. Some employees can speak english or if not, wechat is the best help. They also booked taxi and drop us off by the taxi, the service was wonderful. Will stay here again if there’s a chance of visiting.

JJeffery.truongThe ancient city Pingyao and the Yundingxuan hotel blowed our mind. The hotel provide free pickup from the train station. We took the high speed train arrived at Pingyaocheng station which is around 15 minutes away from the ancient city. When you enter the city wall gate, you will be amazed of the narrow streets and cobblestone road. Picked Yundingxuan hotel because it was closed to the North gate so If the taxi was to dropped us off it’ll be a short walk but the driver dropped us off near the hotel because cars are not allowed within the main streets. The hotel is closed to 200 years old and have characteristics of the Ming and Qing dynasties. I was born in Vietnam, With roots to China but raised up in the US since I was 7 years old. I’ve seen Chinese movies but nothing will prepare you to the hotel and the ancient city. I was surprised how big the hotel complex was. All the staff were very nice, the main host spoke English, and the breakfasts were traditional Chinese breakfast. We stayed two nights and we felt safe throughout our visit. My wife and daughter appreciated the three hotel cats and all the felines throughout the city. I’m sure the other hotels are fantastic and will give your a unique experience but I can vouch for Yundingxuan. Just be prepared to get out your comfort zone but be amazed by the visual and taste of Pingyao Ancient City.

GGuest UserThe B&B is located in the center of the ancient city and is convenient for travel. The boss has carefully decorated the courtyard. When you wake up in the morning, the entire courtyard is filled with sunshine, making it warm and comfortable! The Ming and Qing Dynasty Dazhuang house we stayed in had two interior and exterior rooms. The retro home design made us feel like we were transported back in time.
