Etosha Safari Camp Reviews

We were robbed by their cleaning staff. Women‘s clothing and at least 600 USD were stolen from our luggage while our room was being cleaned. Seems like a common occurrence here, according to several other reviews from the internet. Management remained indifferent on the issue.

The lodge is about 10 miles south of the southern Etosha Gate. The huts over minimum living standard, the complex has a very small pool and average food supply. In all, a starting base for Etosha Park tours, but not the best.

We had a fantastic stay! The food was ok on Friday and better on Saturday, and the live entertainment was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The comfortable beds and well-functioning air conditioners ensured a restful night despite the heat. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and can't wait to stay there again!

It's only 10km from Etosha NP and breakfast is served from 6:00.

Our stay was nice, but unfortunately we forgot a pants in the bathroom that was never found, although we had made several contacts ( email, calls and my husband went to the office in Windhoek). So, be careful with your stuff!

A brilliant location, well kept and excellent facilities: we booked camping2go and it was super comfy, well kitted out and was an exciting option. V close to Anderson gate - we saw black and white rhino within twetny minutes of leaving our tent! Thoroughly recommend, including for kids (our 3 and 7 year olds loved it)

Great amenities and all the utensils needed. Lovely, secluded and you feel very private. The tents are lovely and clean! You can hear the lions roaring at night from the cat farm across the road which is really awesome. We had such a great time that we stayed an extra night. We will definitely be back

Good equiped tent, pleasant stay by friendly people. I did like to stay short by Etosha Anderson Gate. the buffed and breakfeast was good quality. The tent was clean and the beds has an good comfort . Compliments!

An easy 5 for me. A truly excellent experience just 5 minutes away from Etosha. The experience is made all the better by friendly staff and a thoroughly pleasant environment for a stay when visiting the Etosha NP. The pool area is really good and is a welcome oasis after an early start at the park. A few hours by the pool in the afternoon is well worth the time. The glamour style tents are proper cool and offer an excellent bush experience for those that need home comforts (like me). Would stay here again without any hesitation.

Beautiful property and the friendly staff really made it what it was. Loved the nightly music around the fire and the breakfast was delicious!

Great place to stay, great value for money. They also give tours to Etosha - take one! The tours are so worth it! The guides are exceptional and you will get to see so many animals! They are very knowledgeable and will give you loads of information about the animals as well.

Gondwana camping to go is always great to stay at. We have stayed at various Gondwana camping to go and are never disappointed. We will definitely return again. Friends that travelled with us loved it Aswell.

We have stayed several times in the Camping to Go at Etosha Safari Camp and the facilities are still in good shape. We had a good stay on our way up and on our way back again. The one thing we did not enjoy was the loud staff early in the morning and during our 2nd stay late afternoon at the workshop close to Camping to Go no.1. Some guests check out really early for their safari into Etosha while other guests are still sleeping. Staff should go about their business quietly or at least that is my expectation.
