"The room was very good and all aspects of the service did reflect a high standard. As a tourist, the hotel's transportation location is also very good. There is a bus stop a few steps from the hotel door. The hotel is also a 3-minute walk from the National Theatre National Railway/Metro Station."

"Located in the center of Oslo, a few minutes walk from the train and national theater. You can buy tickets directly from the VY machine at the airport. The hotel is a historic European-style building. It is very beautiful. The breakfast is very rich and amazing. It is a must-try. The service staff is warm and friendly. It is one of the few hotels in Europe that provides toothbrushes and slippers. I will stay here again if I have the chance."

"It's far away from the city. I booked a family room. The sofa bed couldn't be turned on, and the phone didn't work. I had to go downstairs to find a waiter. When I checked out, the room fee was directly deducted from the credit card without asking any questions. Fortunately, I received a message and told him that I had prepaid with Ctrip, and then told me that I needed the approval of the boss before the room fee could be refunded. Let me wait a day or two. The only satisfactory place is that the breakfast is not bad."

"Fully self-check-in. A link will be sent in advance. You need to download the guest app. The entrance is relatively hidden. You need to carry your own boxes and climb half a flight of stairs to get into the elevator. The elevator is a bit small and it is a bit troublesome for those with a lot of luggage. The room is a bit crowded but fully equipped. The furniture is very stylish. There is a separate room for you to pick up the supplies. Slippers, toothbrushes, etc. are available. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the shopping street, the pier, the castle, the opera house, and the Munch Museum."

"The location is very good, but the property itself is quite old and the health condition is not bad. But be careful with the taxis at the door, as they will charge you arbitrary fees. I encountered a scam by a taxi driver. Try to use Uber to take taxis in Norway. If there is any problem, it is easier to contact the platform."

GGuest UserThe room is similar to Hanting in China, but it is basically the same in Norway. The location is convenient, very close to the subway. The breakfast is very good, with rich variety, five-star, worthy of praise

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is near convenience stores and many restaurants, and it's also close to museums and the opera house, making sightseeing very convenient. The hotel boasts a very modern and innovative design, and it is relatively new. The rooms are clean, safe, and quiet. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind. The hotel facilities are also excellent, including a 24-hour self-service coffee and tea bar and a 24/7 gym facility. The only bad thing is that it is a 10-minute walk from the central train station.

SSabrinaFWhile the hotel operates with minimal staff and self-check-in, everything was smooth and ready upon arrival. The room was very clean and had all the essentials. The biggest highlight is the location – just a five-minute walk from the central station and the city center, with excellent public transport connections

BBillNot a good experience at Numa Hallen. NOT RECOMMENDED. Rooms are big, clean and quiet. However, the “hotel” is not supported by any staff. The digital check in failed initially. We did not receive the check in email as advised. Maybe if you book directly with Numa, not a third party like Trip, this might work. Don’t know. We rang the web site and Trip advertised phone number to get a check in email. It is disconnected. This defect is recorded in previous reviews, Does anyone read these complaints? Read the previous reviews and noted the WhatsAPP number to be found at door front. Was ready for this we thought. The WhatsAPP number only has a virtual attendant. So no verbal communication available only short text messages readable. Jumped through many hoops and eventually received our check in details on the kerb outside the hotel. Thought we would be sleeping on the street for a while. Once inside we noted the big sign in kitchen about leaving a window open when cooking. Next morning all fire alarms in the hotel section went off. A closed window somewhere perhaps. Alarm couldn’t be shut off so we evacuated with our bags like many others. Guess it must happen often due to the prominence of the sign. The experience wasn’t good and is a great example of technology making life more difficult. The quest to remove people from hospitality jobs diminishes the hospitality aspect. It also leaves no backup except for meaningless, valueless, unaccountable apologies. The communications failures and fire alarm intrusion are significant infrastructure short comings. Wouldn’t stay there again.

TTW2024The Front Desk staff are polite and they smile. Great services from the lady in breakfast on 4 Oct 2024. Clean and spacious room. Thanks for the upgrade so we have a room with a corner bathtub. Room has a tube standing fan, luggage rack, working desk, 3 windows but no kettle and no small refrigerator. Heater works well. Buffet breakfast is good for the price in Europe. In South East Asia with this room rate, we will have better breakfast. The outdoor area on 8th floor has great view and you can smoke there.

TThammarutThe bed is so comfortable. It's so clean. I really like the Nordic interior design and lighting in my room. But this neighbourhood is under major construction. A few buildings nearby are being demolished. Walk carefully when you go out.

GGuest UserThe hotel location was ideal and not far from oslo city centre with a metro station across the road and several bus stops very nearby. Most of the staff were very helpful however there was one gentleman who appeared to assist but then no result to his said actions. Additionally the first room he provided he stated would have view. The view was of the hotel from the window. The room he provided was unclean and filthy. We requested a change to our room with his colleague. She was very helpful and gave us a great room very clean room with a view of the river, but only thing is we had no phone in the room. We requested one but was told one would not available until later on the week. This was not beneficial as we were leaving. The amenities were ok however the hotel had direct access to mini shopping mall which had some lovely coffee shops and general convenience stores, which was great. Therefore we did not eat at the hotel. Overall apart from the above issues it was a pleasant stay and we extended it by a day which was a smooth process and we was able to stay in the same second room.

SShauna McFaulFor our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, very close to the centre but a little away from the hustle and bustle. It is close to the opera and the central station. The staff are very very friendly, the food they serve is very good and I loved that we could get teas and coffee whenever we wanted, even to take away. The room is small, and the bathroom is tiny, but it was enough to sleep and take a shower. It would be nice to update the televisions, since you can't connect any app, but that's not essential. The beds are very comfortable, the pillows could be improved, but overall our stay was great.

BbillyoojiThis is around 15-20 mins walk from the Oslo Central station. Not very centralized but convenient. Staff is very helpful when I had problem connecting to the wifi. Breakfast is amazing and there is a wide variety to choose from. One can have a heavy breakfast and skip lunch to save money. Also, the hotel is very close to the supermarket called Kiwi, allowing you to buy fruits and snacks at an affordable price.
