Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport

I used this hotel as a base for 3 nights, the location is literally 5 minutes walk from the airport. Considering it’s proximity to the airport the prices were excellent also I was surprised there was no noise at all from the planes. The bedroom was very clean with comfy beds and nice pillows. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water, nice touch. Free safe in your room, good Wi-Fi which for me is very important. Good free gym, laundry facilities, good restaurant with an amazing choice for breakfast, you will not be disappointed in the food and service. What more can I say? Good prices, location, food, facilities and friendly staff. Keep up the good work I will 100% return on my next visit to Romania.

Great hotel if need to stay near airport. Easy to get to. Quiet, off the main busy road so no traffic noise. Very nice bed linen. Clean. Comfy bed. Good storage for stuff, luggage racks , closet. Good hot water pressure in shower, but shower quite small and floor pan fills up very quick and overflows a bit, so floor gets wet. A bit far from the sights to see though, and not much around so we will move closer to city for rest of stay. Weird that you have to pay 15 euros to swim in pool. Never seen that. To get here from airport you can go down to arrivals , take 783 bus and exit at Icsitmua stop, which is not far, then walk backwards about 4-5 minutes to hotel. Can buy a 24 hr tourist bus pass for 20 RON at little booth on arrivals outside where you get the 783. Taxi won’t want to take you cause it’s too close by. Uber could though or book the hotel shuttle for fee, but only come every hour.

Well, this is my second time. For the first time, I stayed in April and am now back in Bucharest ...or actually back home from a beautiful trip to Romania. I have to admit that this time the hotel looks a bit different, but in a positive way, even though I had the same room :) Thank you for booking me the same room. What I have noticed is that they invested more in decorations, and more plants around the hotel, but a good taste. The restaurant breakfast is looking better with the new look. Thank you for everything and see you next year!

Ibis Styles Bucharest Airport

I had cancelled my initial reservation and they still charged full price. I contacted them and they said it’s not them it’s Booking com (who said it’s not them of course…) Poor customer service and no reimbursement (lost 100% of money reservation) in between this hotel and *********** site. Will not return or recommend to friends/families. Be careful or better avoid this hotel altogher. Also double check your Booking com reservations to avoid possible issue (booking com was really terrible svs as well).

I'd be generous to give this a three-star rating, following a late arrival to the airport no one was answering the telephone to request an airport transfer with our luggage after two attempts so we made our own way via an Uber. The checkin was okay, entrance is unusual and small, luckily we had an airport transfer the next morning. Rooms are un-operational, outdated, small and dim lit. The shower was faulty so meant I had to hold it in one hand as it wouldn't fix in place, very shabby interior and decor - rest of the bathroom was just satisfactory with a few toiletries provided. Breakfast was however decent, via a menu card with choices given, basic but nicely presented and tasty. Service is lacking, no clear instructions, although English can be spoken and interpreted. Beds were reasonable, WiFi was working too, luckily. You can survive with this hotel, if you're looking for a night's stay at most.
