MMiiiiiiiioTraveling during the off-season was such a great experience! The hotel even upgraded us to a courtyard suite for free. The service here is truly exceptional; before we even arrived on the island, the staff created a WeChat group to remind us about ferry tickets, motion sickness prevention, and other details. As soon as we disembarked, a shuttle picked us up and took us directly to the hotel. We could request any services we needed directly through the WeChat group, and they were always incredibly responsive. Our room had direct access to the pool, and the balcony led straight to the beach (it could get a little noisy at night with the beach bar and live music, but it always stopped after 10 PM). The food was also delicious and really hit the spot. My child even said this was the best hotel he's ever stayed at, haha!

HHonghongdefengjingrijiThe check-in process was very comfortable. We stayed in a house with a yard on the first floor. The room was clean and tidy, but I don't think it was necessary. It would be better to stay in the garden room in front of the swimming pool. The price is cheaper. There is afternoon tea, which is exquisite and fresh, and breakfast service, which is clean and hygienic. We were picked up at the pier and received a small collection of shells and conchs as a delicate gift. The most surprising thing was that I took life-like photos during the free photo shoot offered by the hotel. The photographer lady understood me so well. Love it, already set as wallpaper! The hotel has small electric donkeys for rent. Shiluokou Beach is right downstairs from the hotel. I regret not taking a good walk there. Cons: The lights in the hotel are too dim. Hot water takes a long time to drain. The hotel is not too close to the Sports Park, Nanwan Old Street and other centers

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, I also like the breakfast. I especially like the bed. The bathroom is also very clean and the disposable toothbrushes are very useful. Following the route the boss told us, we reached Silver Beach in less than 10 minutes. I sincerely recommend it. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel where you can swim in the afternoon. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! We stayed in two rooms for three nights and had no regrets. By the way, there is a place to dry clothes on the second floor, which is very convenient. There is also a special smoking area.

YyuleimorrisPros: The service was great! I added the front desk on WeChat, and they were very responsive to any questions I had, even recommending places to eat. I stayed in the 180 sea-view suite, which was a nice and clean apartment with a huge balcony and a clear view of the sea. You can cook in the room (though you need to bring your own pots and pans). The location is also decent, about a six or seven-minute walk to Silver Beach. They offer free sand-digging tools, which is a big plus! There's an owner's canteen downstairs for breakfast, which is very convenient. Cons: There are other residents in the apartment building, and some are renovating. With only two elevators, waiting times can be quite long. The front desk is outside on the first floor and separate from the residential area, making it a bit hard to find. The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit low.

GGutianyilang🌟 Five out of five stars, highly recommend Sheraton Beihai! This family vacation with the kids was an absolute blast! The hotel offers breathtaking sea views, and the rooms are clean and spacious, with excellent amenities for families. What truly touched me was the front desk staff. They were efficient and patient during check-in, and when they saw my child's messy hair, they kindly knelt down and braided it beautifully. Their gentle and meticulous approach made my child happy throughout. These thoughtful details truly make guests feel at home. It's my top choice for family trips, and I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Beihai!
