YYigexihuanzhenshidianpingdeyonghuI didn't take any photos this time. First, let me talk about the facilities: I forgot to check for a bathtub, assuming there would be one. It's my own fault for not checking. The sink and shower were fine, no major problems. Cleanliness: The walls upstairs in my room were black, but the grout lines were peeling off, making it difficult to place anything on them and leaving black residue. This wasn't a good experience. Environment: The environment was okay, but it's located in an area full of guesthouses. I recommend renting an electric bike; riding one in the evening is incredibly relaxing. Service: The service was impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating. The downside: One bad thing was the swimming pool! We've taken our child to Sanya dozens of times and never had an ear infection from swimming, but here, one time we had to go home to see a doctor. The doctor said it was from swimming; something got in. Looking back, I don't know why the pool water in Beihai is salty—was it just seawater? Sanya's pools use disinfectant additives, which I suspect this one didn't.

We stayed in a pool-access twin room for two days, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great design aesthetic. Opening the balcony door led directly to a beautiful private pool, which connected to the public pool area. Both the private courtyard and public areas were perfect for photos. My child could swim directly from the room to the outside, which was a huge hit! The atmosphere was completely different between day and evening. What touched me the most was the hotel's meticulous service, which warmed our hearts from check-in until we left. **Welcome Gifts:** Upon arrival, the hotel presented us with thoughtful and practical welcome gifts, including a tote bag, an umbrella, mosquito repellent spray, mosquito repellent bracelets, hair ties, and other useful small items. **Breakfast:** Every day, the ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted excellent. We could even reorder dishes. Even my picky eater at home enjoyed it thoroughly. **Fruits & Afternoon Tea:** Fresh fruits were provided in our room daily. The afternoon tea pastries were exquisite and delicious. Sitting by the pool, enjoying desserts while watching our child swim in the courtyard, was incredibly relaxing. **Goodnight Desserts:** Every evening, there was a warm, comforting dessert waiting for us, which helped us sleep soundly. **A Special Birthday Surprise for Our Child:** We had booked the hotel's photography service for our child's birthday that day. To our surprise, the hotel secretly prepared a cake and delivered it to our room. Our child was both surprised and delighted! The cake was also very thoughtfully made and incredibly delicious, with cream that was sweet but not cloying. This level of thoughtfulness is truly not something every hotel can achieve. I must also highlight the hotel's complementary photography service! I initially booked it with a 'let's just try it' mindset, but the photographer was professional and patient, incredibly skilled at finding the best angles. From the public areas to the unique pool in our room, every shot was exceptionally high-quality. Communication was smooth throughout, and the photos were delivered quickly, without the assembly-line feel of a typical photo studio. It left us with perfect travel photos for our child's birthday, which was incredibly meaningful! All the best photos from this trip to Weizhou Island were thanks to Reef Hotel's photography service. If you're looking for a hotel with attentive service, stunning surroundings, and the bonus of free high-quality photos, Reef Hotel is definitely the top choice on Weizhou Island. I will be raving about this hotel and its photography service to all my friends. Next time I visit, I will absolutely stay here again!

CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:) Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island! Overall A+ experience! (Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

QQunyanThe inn is not far from the Crocodile Mountain Service Center, about seven or eight minutes away, where you can choose to take scenic buses to different combinations of scenic spots, which is very convenient. The inn has a kitchen for guests to use, and more conveniently, the only vegetable selling point on the island is right next to it. The proprietress of the inn is from Baoding and is very enthusiastic. She not only helped us design tour routes and contact transportation, but also picked us up from the pier for free.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

TTravel_ManThe front desk service is very good, enthusiastic, and helps with travel transportation. The room is new, the apartment facilities are good and quiet, and the community is very new. I mainly went to the mangrove forest to play, and went to the nearby Binhai International Wetland Park to play in the sea, play on the mudflats, and take pictures. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the homestay. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi from the homestay to Silver Beach. There is a canteen in the community, which is in a leisure activity center. You can go there for a walk. There is a pool.

GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, I also like the breakfast. I especially like the bed. The bathroom is also very clean and the disposable toothbrushes are very useful. Following the route the boss told us, we reached Silver Beach in less than 10 minutes. I sincerely recommend it. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel where you can swim in the afternoon. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! We stayed in two rooms for three nights and had no regrets. By the way, there is a place to dry clothes on the second floor, which is very convenient. There is also a special smoking area.

GGuest UserThe room we got was on the fifth floor, and the view was pretty standard – mountains to the side, buildings in front, which was a bit of a shame, but overall still good. The location is a bit out of the way, but ordering takeout and getting taxis was super easy. We also tried their travel photography service, which was decent, but they didn't offer many photo choices. We stayed for two nights, and I'd definitely recommend it for the sea view; it’s much better than Wan H's view, no complaints there. As for cleanliness, some details might not hold up to close inspection, probably because it's an older place. Overall, I'd still recommend it.
