NnicolejingjingTraveling to Sanya with my child, I chose the InterContinental. It's right next to the duty-free mall, with a dedicated walkway, so you can just cross the road and walk over.
I booked a Premium Ocean View room, and the sea view is quite good. The only thing is that the new hotel on the right does obstruct some of the view, but you can't see it from inside the room, only from the balcony.
The family pool is huge, with various swim rings available for free use, and the water depth is suitable, perfect for a family to enjoy playing in. There's a large lawn and a small train, and although the kids' club isn't huge, it's enough to keep the little ones entertained.
The room is spacious and well-equipped. My favorite feature was the large countertop, which was super convenient for eating in the room. They also provided complimentary welcome fruit, which was a nice touch.
Before check-in, the hotel butler contacted me. Ms. Kaylee was very attentive, checking in daily to see if I needed anything or to arrange housekeeping. She was very enthusiastic.
Overall, it's highly recommended.

Each standalone villa is enveloped by lush greenery, creating a natural barrier, and features its own private pool and courtyard plunge pool, offering an exclusive and tranquil space. We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

Kkathy6699I've visited Sanya many times, and if you're not planning on swimming in the ocean, Atlantis Sanya in Haitang Bay is the perfect choice. The waves in Haitang Bay are strong and there are rip currents, so swimming in the sea isn't allowed. However, the hotel offers a waterpark, aquarium, C Show, dolphin encounters, and sea turtle encounters, ensuring your schedule is packed every day. The C Show is complimentary for two during your stay, and all other activities offer unlimited access. Plus, our room came with a butler, Xiaoma, who was always available to help with any issues 👍. During our stay, I lost my ID at the waterpark, and a staff member named Ken found it and contacted me immediately to return it 👍. The hotel has two breakfast restaurants, and the breakfast here is much better than all the hotels in Yalong Bay 👍. All rooms have sea views with an open panorama facing Wuzhizhou Island. The biggest advantage is the high floors, which make swimsuits dry quickly 👍. I love swimming and playing in the water, so I always bring at least two swimsuits. Here, my swimsuit dried in just 30 minutes 👍! Next time, I'll try staying in a Royal Club room...

CChenqiyuezailvxingThe butler service at Grand Hyatt Sanya was incredibly thoughtful. Upon arrival, we were given two coconuts and a welcome fruit platter, which was a lovely gesture. They also upgraded us to a Deluxe Seaview King Room with an amazing view. The room itself was super spacious and comfortable. The hotel has three pools; they're quite shallow, making them perfect for kids, though not ideal for someone tall like me. Still, it's great if you're traveling with family. The private beach has a bar and music – it's so relaxing to just lie there, spaced out with a drink. The resort grounds are huge, so expect to walk at least 10,000 steps daily, but thankfully there are electric carts (6-8 seater and 4-6 seater) for transfers every 7-8 minutes. Walking takes only about 5-6 minutes, so it's quite convenient. The only downside is how hot it gets during the day; outdoor activities are really only comfortable for a couple of hours in the morning and evening. Breakfast was incredibly rich, with a full spread of Chinese and Western options, an overwhelming variety of fruits, and even Shakshuka – I couldn't eat it all! Overall, it's a perfect place for a relaxing family getaway!

GGuest UserExceeded expectations! Before coming, I saw a lot of negative reviews on Xiaohongshu, but my actual stay, from the entertainment experience to the service, was simply fantastic.
For us, traveling with kids, there were so many activities: an indoor kids' club, a mini-train, shows, animal feeding, and coconut picking. Our favorite was the foam bath in the kids' pool – our child had an absolute blast. The hotel has many pools; in the 1.2-meter pool, you can even ride small boats, and the standard pool has beautiful scenery for adults to swim in.
It's very close to the beach. You can take the mini-train or ask the concierge to call an electric buggy, which is very convenient.
Regarding service, they offer 1-on-1 butler service. Our butler was Potato from the front desk, and she was very quick to respond and resolve any issues. She always followed up on everything. The restaurant's emergency handling was also excellent; when our child got scalded, they immediately took us to rinse the injury and provided a burn cream. A big thank you to all the staff for their dedication and responsibility.

GGuest UserTraveling with my parents, I appreciated the fans in the lobby – a thoughtful touch. There was a minor hiccup with getting a wheelchair for my parents initially, but the concierge quickly resolved it. I just casually mentioned wanting a different room type, and they switched it for us. Customer service was very responsive.
The public areas are lovely with plenty of water activities, and it was great fun catching waves in the sea. There are sun loungers on the beach. Visiting during the off-season meant it was lively but not crowded.
A small suggestion: I hope there can be some ventilation in the lobby by the computers. My heart goes out to us 'workhorses' who have to work even on vacation. For the evening singer performance in the lobby, I suggest it doesn't run too late; we could still hear it past 10 PM. After 10 PM, I recommend lowering the volume a bit.

FFantom ASA pleasant hotel 5 minutes walk from the beach. Nice big pool for adults. There is a children's pool with small slides. If you take a room/villa not in the main building, then the beautiful territory will be much closer to you. It's also very quiet there. Large rooms with nice beds. Overall, we were very satisfied, considering the cost. The hotel also went to a meeting and arranged a late check-out at 14:00. Thanks

GGuest UserThe Mangrove Tree Resort is actually a great hotel. The location is good, the beach is nice, the views are stunning, and the service is also commendable. There are plenty of restaurants, and while the rooms feel a bit dated, it adds to a retro charm. It offers excellent value for money. We upgraded to a sea-view junior suite from our original package, and the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the ocean view. All our requests were met promptly, and the cleanliness was also very good. There are lots of activities for families too; we joined the beach crab hunting and were thrilled to catch two! If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the hotel's photography service. The photos themselves were good, but the photographer seemed a bit upset and had a bad attitude when I was decisive about deleting some pictures during the selection process. It kind of dampened my mood for a moment. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic, and I had a very enjoyable holiday here.

The best thing about this hotel is how convenient it is to go for a swim at the beach, and the public beach area is also beautiful. The 'glass sea' in Yalong Bay is truly stunning and so clear! On my first day swimming, I saw little fish swim past me! What an incredible experience! The breakfast was also very good! I will definitely be back to this hotel!!

GGuest UserOur stay at Wanda Realm during this Sanya trip far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
