AjimuTraveling with my two kids, I booked a family room with three beds. The view from the room was excellent. The guesthouse has more of a hotel feel, with three floors and an elevator. You can go up to the fourth floor for sightseeing. The owners are all very friendly and understanding. My child accidentally broke a vase in the room worth over 300 yuan, and the owner surprisingly refused our compensation, saying ”碎碎平安” (which roughly translates to ”shattered but safe,” a comforting phrase) which instantly warmed our hearts. The owner's mother said, ”Staying with us is destiny.” We'll definitely choose this place again if we come back! Their cat even has a super big villa! 😍

Guest UserThe best decision I made in Shangri-La was choosing this guesthouse; it single-handedly made my entire high-altitude trip enjoyable! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town's Moonlight Square and the Giant Prayer Wheel. It’s wonderfully quiet yet centrally located, perfect for exploring and dining out, then returning to a peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Most importantly, it came with an individual oxygen concentrator, which meant I wasn't worried about altitude sickness at all on my first high-altitude trip, and I slept incredibly soundly. The owner is super enthusiastic, offering free airport transfers both ways. The breakfast was varied, with delicious Yunnan rice noodles, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Any requests were handled super quickly. It offers an immersive ******* living experience while still providing modern comforts. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Diqing!

Guest UserShangri-La Qingyujian Mountain is a guesthouse where you're truly charmed by the furry friends in the courtyard.
As soon as you walk in, a dog immediately comes up to you for a pat. They're all gentle and quiet, and you can let them run freely on the big lawn in the yard – animal lovers will adore them.
The location is peaceful, and you can see distant mountains just by opening your window. The room was spotlessly clean, and it was fully equipped with underfloor heating and an oxygen machine, which made the stay very comfortable, especially for altitude sickness. The owners are a very laid-back family; breakfast was simple but tasty, and they even offered to help with luggage and provide pick-up/drop-off services.

Guest UserA perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away.
Recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature, slow down, and experience the peaceful side of Shangri-La.

Barry MichaelA Warm Home in Shangri-La - Definitely Choose Wufan Shanjian!
The luckiest choice of my trip to Shangri-La was definitely Wufan Shanjian Light Luxury Homestay, and the biggest surprise was meeting the owner couple, a local ******* pair. The simplicity and enthusiasm unique to Tibetans in them filled the entire journey with warmth.
From the moment we landed, we were surrounded by their thoughtfulness: they not only took the initiative to pick us up at the high-speed railway station but also carefully reminded us not to rush to take a bath just after arriving on the plateau and to remember to turn on the oxygen concentrator at night. A family member traveling with us had a bit of altitude sickness, and the landlady Zhuoma immediately brought Coke and glucose to relieve the discomfort. In the evening, she specially brought warm yak milk and fresh grapes. Even the child kept saying that Aunt Zhuoma was as kind as family. The husband was simple and enthusiastic. When he saw that we had trouble parking, he immediately helped park the car without hesitation, so we didn't have to worry at all. When we wanted to find delicious skewers or plan the route around Napahai, they could always give the most authentic suggestions and even recommend reliable stores, which were more useful than the strategies we made.
The environment of the homestay is impeccable. As a person with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness, the cleanliness here completely exceeded expectations - the rooms are bright and tidy, the bed sheets and quilt covers have no peculiar smell at all, and even the bathroom is cleaned spotlessly. The facilities are also very considerate, with full-house floor heating and smart devices. The oxygen concentrator by the bed can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration, completely solving the worry about sleeping on the plateau. What's more surprising is that the location is in the center of the ancient town, only a three-minute walk to the prayer wheel, making it very convenient for shopping and dining.
During the few days staying here, I was moved by the details every day: free down jackets and umbrellas, pre-prepared moisturizing masks, hot breakfast in the morning, and even after leaving, when we found that we had forgotten something, the boss would carefully send it back. This kind of warmth that is not family but better than family made the beauty of Shangri-La more concrete. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again!

giaosanOur room on the 3rd floor was great, with hardly any mosquitoes. The refrigerator, hairdryer, stereo, bedding, and slippers were all carefully selected big brands. The large window was stunning the moment we walked in, exactly as pictured online. Plus, there were two adorable little donkeys playing on the lawn downstairs – the gray one always picked on the black one!
The other deer and alpacas were a bit further away.
There's an electric scooter rental right next to the hotel, and it was lovely to ride around for a bit.
The entire house had plenty of oxygen, and there was a projector. The bedside controls were comprehensive, and the blackout curtains were excellent. The pillows were so soft I just fell asleep immediately.
The lobby ambiance in the evening was also very good, with many scented candles lit. The service attitude was excellent; the 24-hour butler basically responded instantly and fulfilled every request.
We experienced ******* incense making and butter tea. The butter tea was at a neighbor's ******* home; the ******* hosts were very interesting speakers, and the lady was especially kind and enthusiastic.
For dinner at the restaurant, you can buy a group deal, which is quite a bit cheaper than ordering à la carte. However, the restaurant staff didn't inform us of this beforehand.
The only minor drawback was that the room was too hot. They said it was a whole-house constant temperature, but it wasn't cool. By evening, all the portable air conditioners were borrowed, leaving only electric fans. Having to use a noisy electric fan to cool down in an otherwise dimly lit and quiet room was quite frustrating.
Additionally, the male server with glasses in the restaurant needs to improve his social etiquette in modern society. When introducing dishes or taking orders on an iPad, he only addressed the male guest. The female guest was asked to choose without seeing any information – how are we supposed to choose then? Not every couple assumes the male partner pays or is the main guest. I felt offended. It would be best to quickly train and improve awareness. The restaurant staff's standards haven't met the overall hotel standard.

Guest UserOur first stop in Shangri-La was the Muka Manor. It's about a 10-minute drive from Shangri-La Station to the hotel. As soon as we entered the manor, we were absolutely stunned by the gorgeous views of the Napa Lake meadows. The entire estate felt so comfortable and relaxing; it truly felt like a perfect vacation. Every spot was picture-perfect, and I took so many beautiful photos of the kids. The afternoon tea restaurant upstairs also offered stunning views. In the evening, we even got to experience a Tibetan-style hot pot tea ceremony, which was a very unique memory. If I get the chance to come back, I'll definitely stay for a couple more days!

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything!
The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community.
The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous.
My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters).
The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station.
I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life.
Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !

Guest UserWe chose this tent resort for our trip to Shangri-La with the kids, and it was absolutely the right choice! It's located right by Napa Lake, and as soon as you open your door, you're greeted by a vast grassland and the majestic Shika Snow Mountain – the views are incredible. The room had oxygen supply and floor heating, so staying at high altitude wasn't uncomfortable at all, and we slept soundly at night. There were little lambs and deer in the yard, which the kids loved so much they didn't want to leave. The butler was very friendly and even drove us to the high-speed train station. The whole trip was relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Shangri-La.

Guest UserWe had a very pleasant stay overall. The room was exactly as described: very clean, surprisingly large, and the floor heating in the main area was a welcome feature. The location is truly excellent—easy to find, a short distance from the ancient city, and incredibly convenient for taxis. Having a supermarket right downstairs and access to fantastic local restaurants was a huge plus.
The only area for improvement is the bathroom temperature. As there is no heating element, it became quite cold during the night, which was a bit uncomfortable.
Despite this, we would happily return for the great value and ideal location.
