The hotel is located in the south of the center of Prague, during the day tram 23 goes to Prague Castle. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the National Museum, which is more convenient. In the old city area, the street environment is relatively beautiful, and the law and order are good. The exterior decoration of the hotel is very luxurious, but it is old. The overall facilities of the standard room are relatively old, and the lighting system is dim. The overall cleanliness of the room is good, but the bed is not very clean. Service is average, Czech hotel staff are not very welcoming. Generally speaking, it is a good choice for short-distance low-consumption travel.

I stayed here last weekend and all I can say is amazing, rooms are immaculate, while hotel is beautiful and the service is incredible! Every meme er of staff we met were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help! I would like to give a special mention to Petra who helped me so much when our airline lost our luggage and I didn’t have my essential medication, Petra was amazing and found a doctor immediately for me who provided me with my medication! All staff went above and beyond and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague!

Good hotel in a great location at the top of Wenceslas Square. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room spacious with a great view of the museum. This fell short of full marks in two areas. Firstly, the room was very warm with no AC in March. This meant sleeping with the window open which was very noisy. Secondly, the bar was on open for a very limited period of time and was shut at 2100 if not before.

Perfect! and was able to upgrade when we arrived at the hotel! We aren't used to this like New York City, but what was nice, there was a small souvenir shop on each block with drinks, water, junk food, etc. Perfect for incoming tourists.

We stayed 5 days in this recently refurbished hotel, our room was brand new, good size for Europe, nice lounge, coffee machine and nice bathroom, including rain shower There are some teething problems such as the air conditioner not working, so the rooms are a little hot, and no English channels on the TV. The service we received was excellent from our check in experience including great dining suggestions, our room attendant Osanko made sure everything was in order and checked to see if we required any additional items. Breakfast each morning was a lovely continental range and again very attentive service

The hotel is elegant and decadent. Conveniently situated and a short distance to the city main shopping high street and amenities. The bedroom was tasteful, spacious and quiet. Staff are attentive and friendly that created that level of ambience. Special gratitude to the concierge gentleman and the young waitress at breakfast. Breakfast buffet and in my opinion provided a good selection for our requirements. It's a shame that the hotel restaurant was not opened in the evening as we would of loved to have dined in it for one of our evening stays. However, we did enjoy our stay there. The only negative really was that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in our room. I would of expected this as a standard particularly in a 5 star hotel. That said, we would recommend the hotel. It's beautiful, ideally situated, and like I said, the staff were friendly.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

It’s a very nice and quiet hotel. The breakfast was quite good, the staff were hospitable, and the room was very clean and comfortable. In front of the building is the Mustek metro station, which connects the “A” and “B” metro lines, and down the block is the Duplex rooftop club.

On the last night of the Czech Republic, I decided to set up a high-end hotel. The interior environment is good, clean and tidy. This is the only hotel in the Czech Republic that has prepared slippers. Hahaha... The front desk is also super good. We will prepare the map for us and help us set the next day. The taxi to the airport is regrettable because there is no calculation time and no early breakfast.

We spent a week here. The exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the communist era, but the interior of the hotel will make you forget it quickly, so don't be intimidated by the hotel's exterior. The room was clean and very big, the interior was very nice and comfortable. We checked into this hotel with a Firefly voucher at a very reasonable price. The voucher includes hotel breakfast. For a 3-star hotel, this choice is very correct, so we are symmetrically satisfied. The waiter's service is also very good, our check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. One night we decided to try to finish our meal a la carte in the hotel restaurant and we were really amazed by the quality of the meal and the quality of the food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. We had the best risotto in all of Prague. Recommend everyone to try it.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

Myself and three friends have just ended a seven night break here in Prague,We stayed in room 410 & 408 the hotel was spotless in every respect,the staff were excellent in all departments,Once you find your bearings it easy to navigate the tube stations a 15 min walk to the square,We were last in Prague 2019 however we found some of the trams misleading especially the no 22 ,if you visit the church that the paratroopers died,it is worth visiting the Memorial at LIDICE,we have been twice over the years,it so easy to get there with the 300 bus that you pick up the same station as for the airport,and if after you have visited the memorial and you feel like a there is a village pub in bustenhrad about 30 min walk you can also pick up the 300 there back to Namesti Valevelin bus station.kind regards pat.martin tom and david

 When we're not there, I'm impressed by bringing you a surprise gift such as fruit and chocolate! Overall tidy. The location is a little unfortunate .. You have to walk for 5 minutes to go tram. The breakfast was delicious! The breakfast was mainly bread, bacon, ham, cheese, fruit and hot chocolate.

This is my favourite hotel in Prague. I have lost count, guess I have been there some 30-40 times during the last ten years. When I go to Prague, I always chech first if there is room available at Hotel City Bell. It is maybe not luxury hotel by the ordinary meaning of the word, but if you think of luxury as spacious rooms, quiet surroundings which allows good sleep at night, perfect location (Vinohrady is the best area in Prague!), then this is a perfect place. Two or three years ago, the Hotel underwent a successful renovation (including new elevator). Nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, thorough cleaning of the room etc. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Prague with good value for money.

I stayed here for 3 weeks in May & June of 2019. It was the first righteous vacation I had taken for 45 years, when I was 13 years old (yes, it's possible for a 13 year old to go on an extended vacation with considerable autonomy). I've developed additional expectations based on travels in the intervening years, and this place exceeded all of them, by far. First up - it's not cheap. It's also better than you can get for the money anywhere else in Prague. I've rebooked for 2 weeks in 2020, and I looked at a LOT of other hotels before I did so. It ”only” took 8 or 9 hours to realize that everyplace else I looked at for which the room was comparable, actually cost a fair amount more. They've hit a sweet spot. Also, it's not a 5-star hotel that will jump thru hoops to get you anything you desire at any hour of the day - Prague (by its nature) doesn't work that way, and they're not faking it. This is Prague, and Mamaison Belgicka is in a neighborhood well off the one-block-wide tourist trail a couple miles north (which is a beautiful Hellscape once the hordes have woken up). What I got in return was an amazing variety of restaurants within trivial walking distance, a lovely, laid back neighborhood, and incredible access to the best public transportation on Earth (not exaggerating on the last bit, not even a tiny amount). My apartment was much better equipped than I expected - the kitchen, particularly. I still haven't figured out how to get decaf coffee at a grocery store, but when I've mastered that (and health care post-retirement), I could live here. In the interim, there are workarounds (Costa Coffee is 4 blocks away). The separate WC was a very nice touch. While the decor might not be '2019' current, it was certainly fresh enough in 2016. Decor is not dated (never mind my contextual dating of it), this an attractive place - the pictures don't lie. At first glance, the bedding looked like it might not be comfortable. First glance was wrong - I sunk into it every night, pretty sure my back was in much better shape when I left than when I arrived. Compared to my expectations, the apartment was HUGE. They published a square-meter spec for the category of room I reserved, and my jaw dropped when I opened the door. I didn't have a room - I had an expanse. One that in 3 weeks I never managed to fill. Have you ever checked into a hotel knowing that your room was an exact mirror image of the next room? And that there were dozens - if not hundreds - of identical rooms in the same hotel? This is not that hotel. Every room is unique - I forget how many rooms appeared on the fire escape chart for my floor, but I distinctly remember that no two were even remotely the same. My room was approximately perfect, and I requested it again for 2020 (no, I'm not going to tell you the room number, I want to return to it in 2021, and so on, and I want it to be available in advance). Unfortunately, for the first time I find myself having to give a negative review to a facility. I had booked a room for three people with other friends which had been confirmed for us. Upon our arrival, once we entered the room we realized that the room was only for two people. In fact, it had a double bed and the towels were also for 2. We asked for explanations and were told that they didn't have availability for 3, and that they would have added a bed that consisted of a really uncomfortable folding camping bed. They had assured us that they would change our accommodation the morning after our arrival, but when we went to ask at reception the operator claimed that it was not possible. Since we had already paid for 3 anyway, we asked to speak to the manager and only after this request were we ”satisfied”. The room itself wasn't bad, but the carpet gave off a strong, unpleasant smell. The breakfast was quite varied, it's a pity that the cups were often unavailable and you had to ask the waiters to get them. Often the dishes that ran out were not replenished so many were left without.

We stayed 11-15 December. We stayed in room 32 and have no complaints the room isnt the most modern but it has absolutely everything you could need, the room was warm and cleaned daily. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay and always gave us a smile and wave as we come and go. Good location we walked everywhere! If we ever come back prague we will deffo be staying again!!

Although there may be deviations for each person, the location is not very good by my standards. The nearest subway station is a 5-minute walk away, trampoline or bus stop is farther than that, and there are not many commercial areas around. It's about 10 minutes away from the tourist spots. The sheets and towels were not messy, but something seemed untidy and the breakfast was not lacking, but there were not many fruits and vegetables. The air conditioner was like an old fancoal, there was no free bottled water in the room and no port. Wi-Fi is not bad.

I have been super satisfied!! Fantastic place and good location. Easy check-in and friendly staff. The pictures on which breakfast is not fit, however. There is no food or breakfast at the hotel. And air conditioning unfortunately didn't work. But besides that, I have been very satisfied
