Hotels near Gazouillis Park in Quebec City

Overall, it's okay. It's not too far from the ancient city, but the price is not cheap. It's similar to the nearby Hilton, but the location is not as good as the Hilton, and the quality is much worse. There was also a water outage in the hotel that was not notified, causing great inconvenience.

The hotel is clean and tidy overall. The location is a little far from the seaside, but the price-performance ratio is very good ~ the room is quite large, the facilities are complete and clean! The large panoramic window of the river view room we booked can see the Fairmont Hotel and other buildings. The night view is very beautiful.

You can park on the roadside. The train station is about 10 minutes walk past the ancient city, but not too far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes away from the supermarket. They are all flat roads and do not need to climb mountain roads.

The breakfast was not worth almost $40 person. The parking lot are very small and scary at night. I don’t really feel safe—there was nobody in the area at all. If park on the higher floor, there is no elevator from the 10th up. Better load the luggages before parking.

Half way through our stay here. The rooms are lovely and clean, and updated to modern expectations in an old building. Staff have been wonderful. Really good value for money. The only downside so far has been the restaurant (Louise Taverne &Bar a Vin). As we were checking in to the hotel this morning, other customers told us the place is lovely but not to eat here. We decided to go anyway, just wanting a drink while we waited for our laundry to dry… and we may have thought about eating there if all was ok. We were totally ignored, despite trying to attract the attention of the man in charge of the outside area (around a dozen tables, four of which were occupied). We asked someone else if we could sit down. They referred us to him. We waited while he cleaned a couple of tables, walked past us to talk to someone, walked inside and fiddled around in there for a while, walked out again and cleaned a couple more tables, went round us to get to another table where he rearranged the setting. Walked back to near where we were standing and then turned around to chat to some people he had served since we had been there. Don’t know what sort of self-important trip he was on but we left and will not return. But… that led to a delightful experience at 900 Rue Saint-Paul across the road (separate review coming).

This was the cheapest place in QC in Aug. Not much avail or cheaper. They advertised breaky but said none due to COVID. Wouldn't expect much even if they did. Place looked like a small town motel where someone would do a drug deal. It wasn't cheap at all for what you got. The rooms was updated a bit. Bed was comfy but you can hear everything upstairs, next door and outside in room. The bath rooms was older type and had mildewy smell. Lucky it was for a few hr only as this was our stepping stone stay between Toronto and the Maritimes. So didn't want to spend too much. It's about 15 min in the middle of nowhere from old QC. The is a Mc D nearby and a new St Hubert for eating. or breaky. Avoid unless you pay $70.I paid more than double!!!!

The hotel is quite close to the attractions. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Did not go to breakfast, the Queen bed is very comfortable and the space is very large. The environment and layout are very comfortable, the staff understand English and French and are very welcoming. And the hotel rooms are relatively quiet.

This place is really special. They have a gracious, energetic staff who provide attentive but unpretentious hospitality. Room was meticulously clean and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Location is great - it’s at the bottom of the big hill, in a relatively quiet part of the old town, however just a couple of blocks from the Petite Champlain (get up early to avoid crowds there - at 7am I took photos with no one in them and got a nice coffee). This was a splurge for me, but I won’t ever forget staying here.

The sense of tranquility and security are of high standard... A beautiful hotel, recently remodeled, spacious, clean and bright room, no breakfast but recommend nearby sites, The staff is very friendly respectful and professional, special greeting to John at the reception and to the housekeeper, a good service marks the tenth. If you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to choose this great hotel Improvement point: add bath salts

I booked this hotel the night prior. I wasn’t expecting much since i never heard of this place, let alone was a last minute booking. But much to our surprise, it turns out memorable for our family. It was very “homey”, it reminds me of another hotel we booked from the past in Venice, its small but very central, it comes with breakfast and their tiny dining area is cute. The front desk is friendly and personable, its why we enjoyed boutique hotels in the first place. They have their own parking, make sure that after you made a reservation that you call them right away to save you a spot. They have a vending machine for wines and other provisions too. No problem coming back to this hotel next time again.
