"For those with time to enjoy Sarajevo Grand Hotel offers all you need as well as a glimpse into one of the many 'Grand' hotels with fitting that encapsulate the former Yugoslavia.
Breakfast although basic was within expectations for the price point. The 'Sarajevo 1984' Olympic colors on the chairs I thought were a nice nod to the past.
The room was modest but included everything I needed as a solo traveller and was cleaned every couple of days. Lack of AC was the only thing that made the trip slightly less comfortable.
There is a bar on a maisonette floor that serves drinks all day till around 11PM. The staff were courteous and helpful.
For those who don't have a car, taxi can be ordered from the front desk or you can walk 5 minutes to the Railway Station and nearest Tram/Bus stops.
The observation tower is nearby, the Ottoman city is around 30 minutes on foot.
I would stay again. 👍"

"The room is large and comfortable. The breakfast is rich. However, although we arrived early, we could only be arranged to stay in a room on the lower floor. There is an underground parking lot. It may be charged. But we waived it on the second day. There are many Chinese people staying here, and we also saw crew members staying here."

GGuest UserThe original hotel was oversold, so we decided to stay there at the last minute. It was better than expected. The hotel is old and the location is a little off, but Sarajevo is not big, and there are parking lots available in the city center. There is a tram station nearby to the city center. The hotel has a parking garage for 10 euros per night, and there are also free public parking spaces nearby.
The sauna and heated swimming pool that guests can use for free are great. The sauna is shared by men and women. There were few people on weekdays during our stay, but many people on weekends.
The breakfast is average, and there are many halal foods.
The room facilities are old, but the bathroom area is quite large, and many towels are provided. Free bottled water is available.
There is no food nearby, so it is recommended to have a good dinner in the city center before returning to the hotel.

孙孙A particularly good hotel, right on the edge of the old city. To be precise, I live in the scenic spot. Open the windows and the old city is full of eyes. Every time I come to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I choose this hotel. The off-season price is around 600, which is acceptable. This time, the staff at the front desk had a very good service, and the room card was prepared early. The hotel’s breakfast is good, rich in variety and snow-white tablecloths. It is very pleasant to have breakfast while looking at the historic sites in the old city. There were many Arabs and Turks in the hotel, and almost no Chinese were seen. The Latin Bridge is within three minutes of going out. There are many restaurants in the old town, and there is also a Chinese restaurant, which is convenient for eating. The BBI shopping mall is also a 15-minute walk away. However, a friend put US dollars in a bag while staying here, and left the bag after leaving the hotel room. After returning to China, he found 10 100-dollar bills, which turned into 10 one-dollar bills🙀. It should be the result of the hotel staff stealing their posts and changing posts, because they have already returned to China and cannot call the police. So, you must be cautious when you check in and take care of your personal belongings, especially cash.

GGuest UserBeing born in the city and left a few years ago, I thought I should stay in the iconic hotel, being famous for nice accommodation. Bit of a let down. Room was clean, shower was leaking in a big puddle, towels are all frayed and shouldn't be used at all. Just very bad. Overall furniture very old, unkept and used. Bit disappointed that the icon of the Sarajevo is fading away.
