Last minute booking cause we weren’t happy with the original hotel. No regrets at all! Should have stayed here from day 1 itself! Hotel is at The Bund itself, with a great view as soon as you step outside. Room is spacious and clean with all the amenities, and more than enough water from the start. Service staff is great, they allowed us to extend our checkout time. Hotel breakfast has a wide spread and the late night porridge was good. Would recommend this hotel for anyone who visits Shanghai!

The house is very clean and comfortable. The front desk is very polite and has a good service attitude. They handle problems quickly. The location is very good. It takes only a short walk from the subway to get there. As soon as you go out, you will see Xinhua Road and you can see the plane trees you have always dreamed of.

Service: I made an appointment with my friends to visit Disneyland. We landed at Pudong Airport in the early morning on the first day. The boss was very good. He came to pick us up in the middle of the night (the pick-up service is paid, but cheaper than online taxis!). He contacted us in advance to tell us the exact location. When we arrived at the parking lot, he told the boss where we were. He came super fast and got on the car right away. 😂 The next day, because we bought breakfast, we had to go out again at 6:30. The boss had two cars. One of them had just gone out to send off the previous group of guests. He was supposed to wait for us to come back before picking us up. But the boss was afraid that we would not be able to make it, so he asked the boss's wife to drive another car to send us. The journey was about 8 minutes. By the way, the egg pancakes made by the boss's wife were really delicious. 🤤 After a day of fun, the boss continued to contact us to pick us up and told us where to take the bus first. After getting off the bus for two stops, the boss's car was waiting at the station. It was very smooth! On the third day, because we were too tired from playing in Disneyland the day before, we didn't get up to eat breakfast in the morning. When we checked out at noon, the boss's wife was afraid that we would be hungry on the way, so she made some food for us to fill our stomachs. Then the boss sent us to the subway station, and we could go directly to the city center! 🤓 Environment: The B&Bs around Disney are actually small buildings. Among the small buildings, Yunzhi is very conspicuous and easy to find. The indoor environment can be seen in the pictures, without filters or PS. The room is very clean and has everything it should have. The boss will also send the instructions for using the facilities in the room in advance (such as the smart toilet Wi-Fi password, etc.), full-length mirror, makeup mirror, etc. These are very suitable for girls to live in. I was still chatting with my friends on the way home. The mattress of the B&B is not too soft or too hard, just right for sleeping. The two pillows can also be used according to their height requirements. Later, I specifically told the boss that some countertop storage space can be added in the room. The boss can refer to it~😜 I am a person who pays great attention to the aspect of ”living” when traveling. I am also quite picky. When staying in a B&B, mutual communication and mutual understanding between the store and the guests are very important. Yunzhi gives me a really good feeling. I will definitely stay in Yunzhi again next time I come! 🤭

Nice gateway far from Shanghai’s city life. Warm service, calm environment and clean bedroom and bathroom. There are no shops and restaurants nearby, but you can have diner there directly, the ayis cooking is pretty good! I recommend their garlic eggplant dish, they make it to chongming’s flavor! Their breakfast is pretty filling, I recommend to try their local specialty, chongming cake, it’s sweet and yummy!

After I came, I knew that there was a private dish here. I must try it next time. The homestay is very suitable for young people. There are a variety of tea sets and tea, coffee, and the boss himself makes wine for sale. The breakfast is a very clean Chinese breakfast. It will not be boring to stay here for a long time. It is very pleasant to drink tea and chat in the tea house in the courtyard.

The parking fee downstairs is borne by the hotel, the nearby business district is bustling, it is highly recommended

The hotel is cost-effective. The hotel has a golf course lawn, a small bridge connecting the course and a European-style building in the shape of the hotel, especially from the hotel arched corridor, it feels like walking into Europe, especially if you can get up early for breakfast and run near the stadium. You can also go to the golf driving range to experience the swing. In particular, the hotel manager Hu also upgraded the golf suite. The oversized balcony directly watched the course. The warm waiter sent fruit and thank you letters. It was a warm and romantic golf experience trip. It is worth recommending 👍.

It was amazing experience for us. We’ve traveled so many places around the world, this hotel was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We only stayed for 3 nights for Christmas, it’s holiday season, everything so beautiful. Great location and services, it was above my expectations except for the foods. When I booked, it didn’t include breakfast, we had to pay extra fees for it. Honestly, it’s okay to try, but not worthy （If you get it free, that’s awesome). Lots of selection, but wasn’t what I expected. It’s pricey, over $500 RMB for 2 one time only. Overall it’s perfect, I would stay there again when I visit Shanghai.

I tried to check in at 2pm, was informed that the room was not ready for at least 1 more hour. Asked the receptionist for a restaurant, and instead of pointing out the ones from the hotel, she sent me to Yu Gardens... Come back after an hour and was informed that I need to wait for another 30 min at least. I was given a voucher for a soft drink, and I headed to the lounge to get this drink, I showed the voucher to lady and she said for me to have a cold tea that I agreed. At 3:35 stand up to get my key and the waitress ask me to pay for the tea, I pointed out that I got a voucher and she said that voucher was not good for cold tea and I need to pay aroung 230RMB for a tea I didn't want at the beginning, I was there just for the absurd waiting time for the room to be ready! I asked the manager, and they said no need and they would take care... Arrived in room 1771, a well-appointed room, tried to make a coffee, and the machine was not working... I called the concierge and informed about the machine, after 5 min a lady call me to offer me a bottle.of wine, that I declined as I don't drink offer fruit and at the end an upgrade to the room, I went to the toilet and left the room at 16:00 as I had a meeting. I arrived at the meeting with sweaty clothes and without taking a shower as I got the room over 90 minutes later... I received the key of the new room before I left, when I come back I tried to use the key but was not active, i headed back to reception to check what happened and they activated but didn't apologise for the mistake. The new room had a view of the Bund, so there was no upgrade of the room itseld was just an upgrade of the view... The hotel is nice, has good amenities, and breakfast is solid, fresh, but not as much choice as compared to Shangri-la Pudong. The pool changing room and showers need better cleaning and mantenience. The people at the reception and at the lounge need better training and level up their English to a better standard, hotel is 5 star, experience is far from it.
