"Would definitely recommend and revisit. Location very convenient. The room was very clean, there was a massage chair which was great. The washroom shower was clean, toilet was clean, sink was clean, bed felt clean, shampoo n soap didn't feel rough. I only took a video of the inside of the room, no picture to upload, but the lobby looks hella nice. The room looked fancy, the carpet inside the room didn't smell stuffy. The AC worked well. Service was great, very fast; cleaners were friendly too. Only complaints would be, elevators wait takes a while, and halfway AC on 7th flr could not cover the entire hallway. ."

This Shanghai hotel is split into two separate areas. The South Villa (Airport Hotel) is considered a hotel and has a variety of room types ranging from round-bed rooms to suites. The North Villa (Motel) is a less expensivehotel and has has queen and twin rooms. The on-site Merrylin Restaurant serves a menu of Chinese and international fare. Several fast food outlets and other eateries are on hand in the airport so there is no shortage of dining options.Meeting facilities are available as well as paid parking.

"Facilities: Average, a bit old. Hygiene: Around 10 AM, I wanted to get into bed and felt something gritty on my calf. I thought it was the pattern on the sheet, but when I turned on my flashlight, I saw tiny particles. I have no idea what they were. Service: I called the front desk, and they asked me what it was. I said I didn't know. The staff member who came to check also asked me what it was, and I repeated that I didn't know. They then suggested it might be cookie crumbs from my daughter. I booked a double bed, and my daughter was on the other bed the whole time; my bed's duvet hadn't even been disturbed. I didn't push the issue, I just wanted fresh bedding, but that suggestion made me feel like they were trying to shirk responsibility. This kind of service is truly uncomfortable. These unknown particles could be a big deal or a small one... Breakfast: Especially bad. You're better off just eating at the airport. Children over a certain height are charged an extra 30 yuan per person."

"I absolutely have to give this hotel a five-star review! My stay here far exceeded my expectations. First off, the location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. It's also close to the Bund, which makes getting around a breeze. The room was more spacious than I anticipated, well laid out, and the cleanliness was impeccable – every detail was spotless. The bedding was so comfortable that even I, someone who struggles to sleep in new beds, had a great night's rest. I particularly want to commend the service; everyone, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties, was welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. And the cleaning gentleman was incredibly kind; he even proactively helped me when I got lost. Next time I'm in Shanghai, this will definitely be my top choice!"

"#Room#: Very comfortable, perfect for families of three or four with kids. I was traveling with two children and one adult, and my feedback is that we all slept incredibly well and had a great rest. It was quiet and the soundproofing was excellent. #Cleanliness#: Spotless. The housekeeper cleaned daily, changing sheets, duvet covers, and so on. They even installed bed rails for the kids, which was very thoughtful. #Breakfast#: A great mix of Chinese and Western options. There were Western choices like pastries, bread, and coffee, alongside Chinese favorites such as steamed buns, 'wowotou' (corn bread), corn, plain congee, millet congee, noodles, vegetables, and eggs. The fruit selection was extensive, and there was juice, milk, and soy milk – a wide and complete variety. #Dinner#: Noodles, wontons, etc. The kids loved it all. We actually gained a few pounds staying here because the food was so good! We ate well, slept well, and felt relaxed and at ease 😄. #Service#: The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, thoughtful, and very professional. I would definitely choose to stay at Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden Bund again. I highly recommend Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden Bund to anyone planning to visit with children~"

"The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I stayed at Moyu Movie Hotel Shanghai for 7 nights, and I had an excellent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They even accepted my Taobao packages, which made my stay much more convenient. The housekeeping service was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day without me having to request it. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I especially loved the modern automatic toilet, and the shampoo and body wash smelled wonderful. Another great feature was the free self-service laundry, and they even provided free laundry detergent, which was a huge bonus for a longer stay. The location is also very convenient. The hotel is close to the MRT station, making it easy to get around Shanghai. It is also only about a 15-minute walk to the LV The Place (LV Ship), which is a great spot to visit. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely choose Moyu Movie Hotel Shanghai again when I visit Shanghai. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay.

We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. You can tell there is real effort behind the scenes to keep ever

Our family of four (two adults, two children) stayed one night at the Bellagio Shanghai. Since our room wasn't ready upon check-in, Gary kindly upgraded us for free from a Deluxe Room to a 60 sqm room, which was incredibly spacious (we could check in by 1:30 PM!). The most pleasant surprise was the super large walk-in closet, perfect for organizing our luggage, kids' clothes, and travel essentials – a huge plus when traveling with children. The overall decor is a classic Art Deco retro luxury style. The room was meticulously clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The staff were all warm, attentive, and responded promptly to our needs. A special shout-out to Gary for his meticulous, thoughtful, patient, and polite service throughout, which made our stay absolutely wonderful. The location is unbeatable, right next to the Bund and Suzhou Creek, making it super convenient for sightseeing. It's ideal for both family vacations and leisure trips. We'll definitely choose Bellagio first next time we visit Shanghai. We also wish Gary all the best in his work and everything else!

Due to the recent Typhoon Dolphin, I opted for a staycation at Kerry Hotel Pudong by Shangri-La. Upon arrival, there was no assistance from the bell staff or porters. During checkin, The receptionist handed me a small slip of paper which, at first glance, I assumed was some sort of advisory regarding Typhoon Dolphin. Upon closer inspection, I realised that this tiny, thin and flimsy piece of paper was actually the Kerry Club welcome letter. I found this genuinely surprising. A Club welcome letter is one of the first touchpoints for premium-room guests and would normally be presented on proper stationery. Instead, this looked more like a piece of scrap office paper I would use to test whether a pen still had ink. More importantly, the receptionist did not explain my Club benefits. There was no explanation of breakfast hours, breakfast venue, hotel facilities, checkout time, Club Lounge opening hours or other Club privileges. There was not even a simple introduction along the lines of, “You have been assigned a park-facing room on the Club floor.” As a result, when I entered my room on Level 25, I was initially rather confused. My first impression was that the room felt noticeably dated and I genuinely could not tell whether I had actually been assigned a Club Room. I was not sure if it was one. There was no Club welcome letter placed on the desk, no welcome amenity and no Nespresso machine. In its place were several packets of instant coffee. Even the complimentary bottled water was the basic Coca-Cola-owned Chun Yue (纯悦) brand. At that point, the sign along the corridor was the clearest indication I had received that this was a Club-level stay. Not a great first impression. However, it did get better from there, since I discovered that John Masters toiletries were available in the bathroom, which were nice to use, and I was in fact placed in a high floor room that overlooked century park and I could see the lovely view of the 3 iconic skyscrapers of Shanghai. The housekeeping team were amazing, the longest I waited was just 30 minutes after I had requested items, and they were checking in on whether I needed anything during the turndown service, they were also incredibly friendly and polite. The room was also immaculately cleaned. Truly 5 stars! The lounge was also great - evidenced by the amount of people using it during my 3 nights here at this hotel- the lounge was always busy. The evening cocktail service served beyond the usual typical hors d'oeuvres, and was more like a simple dinner buffet. The main dish on my last night - Beef Biryani was really good, and quite authentic in my opinion. It was good by club lounge food standards. The club lounge staff were also excellent. I remember a Caucasian male staff member — unfortunately, I did not get his name or position — who spoke fluent English, answered my queries clearly and resolved any issues I had promptly. Kudos to him! The gym was so huge and well equipped that I thought I had walked into an expensive commercial gym a la FitnessFirst or Virgin Active. The pool was also large with 5 swimming lanes. Back to the room. The bed was quite hard. On the positive side, the air-conditioning remained strong, quiet and effective despite the age of the hotel. The bathroom was probably where the age of the room was most apparent. There was no rain shower or bidet. Some of the floor tiles near the entrance also appeared to be loose, as I could hear and feel slight movement beneath them whenever I walked in and out. Check-out was brisk and straightforward. This time, a member of staff proactively assisted me with my luggage, loaded my bags into my DiDi and helped with the car door. Overall, I believe Kerry Hotel Pudong remains a good choice for business travellers who need to be close to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Huamu or other parts of Pudong. However, I would rate its value for money as merely average.

You absolutely have to stay here for the views! A few years ago, it was a no-brainer, and while the prices have gone up recently, I'm still happy to pay for the stunning scenery. The hotel's overall facilities and service are excellent. The complimentary butterfly cookies at check-in were delicious, and they're sold on the first floor. The large packaging takes up too much space, though; maybe smaller bags would be better. Special thanks to our dedicated concierges, Vicky and Evelynn, who contacted us in advance and took great care of us throughout our stay!

Our stay has been a pleasure. The room is well furnished with all the essentials needed for an holidays of more than one day (fridge, washing machine and dryer). The beds are very soft and there is enough room for luggages. Our room is located in the French concession quarter, an interesting area with a lot of nice restaurants for all the budgets, convenience store and coffee. The service is very kind and helpful: the host has created a weChat group for us, with all the staff to answer our needs, and they provided us all the information days before the checking, ensuring that everything was clear. They bought us also water bottles for our stay. Few negative points to be discussed: the road in which our room (named Rome or ”Luoma”) is located is in a secondary street, unfortunately full of poor maintained house. When we saw the main entrance of the building we thought we were being scammed, since it was a mess with mold and falling paints from the wall, garbage and boxes. Fortunately the room is completely different! Another negative point are the windows that are super thin. Even if closed, you can hear everything from the road (the last night the neighbour were arguing for more than 1 hour and we could hear everything. It was like they were with us in the room!). The curtains are ok for the privacy, but not for the light: at 5 am the light of the sun was so strong that we needed to use eye masks to be able to sleep a little more. In general, our staying has been very pleasant and we suggest it! We hope that the host fix soon the few negative points
