With a group of 14 friends, I visited the Archaeological Museum in Setif, Algeria, where we found ourselves stranded and famished because of Ramadan. We crossed the road to the Novotel where the staff could not have been more welcoming and obliging. In their comfortable lounge, at 3.30 pm, we were served delicious pizzas, hamburgers and excellent chips, fruit and drinks. A saving grace for which we were most grateful.

The suite room was spacious, clean, well heated and very quiet even though we are right in the center of the city, which is rare. The receptionist is very welcoming and made us feel comfortable, not to mention all the staff of the establishment.
