Crowne Plaza Hotels in Shanghai

The hygiene is not up to the five-star standard. When I took up my bathrobe to take a shower at night, there was a stain on the shoulder. The wardrobe is open. Didn't the aunt see it when she changed in? Didn't the second inspection see it? Or was it just a formality? The funniest thing is that when I reported this problem to the man at the front desk, he just shook his head and didn't give any answer. He just kept saying that this is not a problem for the hotel. Is this the employee training of a five-star hotel? They are so perfunctory in the visible parts, and I dare not think about the invisible parts.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Check-in was smooth, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The room itself was spacious, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed. I had a special request before my arrival which was a good view from the hotel room, and they followed through on it perfectly. You can find the photos attached :)

This was our first time staying in this hotel. We usually stay in Pudong. It was a beautiful hotel and the staff we are all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. Check-in for international travelers was seamless and remarkably efficient. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, with genuine smiles and an eagerness to assist. Their professionalism and friendliness instantly made me feel welcome. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Whether it was answering my questions, assisting with tips for the Snow and Waterworld or ensuring that my pre-booked tickets were redeemed effortlessly. The hotel is next to Snow and Water World which was one of the reasons we selected it for our stay. The hotel and its rooms are new and spotless cleean. They provided a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I specifically liked the attention to details showing the Snow World Themes. The breakfast was great! It offered an extensive variety of options, including a selection of Chinese and international dishes. From fresh pastries to savory options and everything in between, the spread was as delicious as it was diverse. This hotel not only met but exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and memorable stay close to Snow and Water World. I’ll definitely return on my next visit!

Good location and near hotel many entertaiment place and many good restaurant and shopping mall , i will stay again

Hotel room is spacious. Excellent service. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful and professional. Hotel is near to Fudan University metro station.

Excellent service, amenities and location -don't even need to leave the neighbourhood for interesting shops, good bakeries, coffee and food. Room was very clean, with well-maintained furnishings, proper study desk and chair and power socket at bedside. Gym was well equipped, just slightly smaller than other 5star hotels.

Very good experience of staying in Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu. The location is the centre of Pudong district and next to a shopping centre called Spring of Paris. I enjoyed the foods around the hotel which is the first and foremost thing when I come back to China :) The room is very clean and services are also good. The price is quite attractive considering it's a 5-star brand. I also had a coffee in the bar which has quite big space and nice desserts. Highly recommended.

I stayed here after completing my government mandated quarantine. The gentleman who checked me in was lovely. However, there was absolutely no help with luggage — getting to or from the qt side to the “regular side” or even getting it up and down from my room, which was VERY far away from the front desk. I called down to guest services for assistance and none came after 30 minutes and I had to bring it down in two separate trips on my own. The regular room was a lovely suite and the bed was comfortable. I wish I had stayed in that room for my qt. The a/c is not on in common spaces.

The room is spacious and bright, and the layout is exquisite and elegant. Every corner is spotless, and the bed is soft and comfortable, as if you are in the clouds. The facilities in the room are not only complete but also of high quality. The hotel's catering is unique. The breakfast is rich and varied, with fresh fruits, exquisite pastries, and steaming porridge to meet the needs of various tastes. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are delicious and the authentic flavor is memorable. The atmosphere of the Western restaurant is romantic and elegant, and the food and environment complement each other. The leisure facilities are also very complete. The gym has advanced equipment and the swimming pool has clear water. It is a great enjoyment to be able to relax here after a busy day. Throughout the stay, the hotel's service has always been meticulous. Whether it is the patient answers at the front desk or the timely response of the room service, people feel real care.
