Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Shanghai

The hotel is pretty clean and the interior looks ok and fairly modern. Furthermore, the location is pretty awesome. Even though it is not in the immediate city center, you can be basically everywhere more or less quick on metro or bike. The neighborhood is residential and very cute and calm, walking along the river is amazing and there are some malls nearby. In addition, the hotel staff is nice and helpful as far as they can with their translation devices. However, the breakfast is average and the rooms are not perfect. E.g. the toilet door doesn't close entirely so that people can see when you are on the toilet. We mostly put the trash bin in front of the door to prevent it from swinging open.

The hotel is in a very good location, less than 500m from the exit of Huijin Road, very convenient, with shopping malls nearby and convenient dining. We checked in on Christmas Day, and the hotel lobby had a strong Christmas atmosphere. A welcome drink was given when we checked in, and the service from the front desk lady was very good.

for such a cheap price I was extremely surprised with how large the room sizes were, the staff were incredibly helpful and explained how I could get food delivery to the hotel room which whilst I new how to already I'm sure many travellers won't and would appreciate the staff's kindness. the hotel location is quite far away from the city centre and metro infrastructure so taxing is a must but for me this wasn't too much hassle. for budget travellers looking for somewhere clean with great service at the great price thats close to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport this hotel is perfect!

The hotel is conveniently located about 30 minutes from the airport and offers a free shuttle service. The staff were friendly, and check-in was quick and smooth. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

I always come back and it’s a Perfect stay for business for the location it’s easy to get to the different convention centers around the city Room although compact is super comfy - feather pillows ,good comforter and decent strong shower . Always a pleasure that the staff are very attentive during my stay. It made a huge difference and a relief that the room did not smell of smoke this time as sometimes other guests may sneak a smoke .. so does travel through the ventilation system . The staff and makes me feel safe too as a female traveler. Neighbourhood has lots of Chinese food options and fresh fruit etc. it’s close by subway to the airport and hongqiao station so you can avoid traffic . Expect 20-30 mins away so it’s great .

This is the most comfortable express hotel i have ever stayed. Im allergic and sensitive to dust and their room had so little dust, this is what i like the most. They upgraded my room to king size, thank you very much. The breakfast was ok, it would be better if you put ”no pork” sign. If you take metro it is on line 15, stop at North Meiling Road, get out on exit 5 turn left. Nothing much to see around it because it is in business area but there is T mall next to it if you are looking for something to eat.

Hotel is a short ride from Disneyland. Room 305 and 303 have musty smell. There is free laundry/dryer but you have to do it yourself. Xiao zhi is good and help to arrange transport(chargeable). Breakfast is so so only but enough to start the day. The free transport from hotel to Disneyland tour guide advise us not to buy from street vendors and scammer outside Disneyland gate BUT they also advertise their own tour guide during the bus ride at various pricing. My advise buy from Disney official inside or online. Don't buy from the hotel arrange free bus ride tour guide any Disneyland service and those outside Disneyland gate. The hotel is just at the Mrt line pink. If there's a rain you'll not get wet cause the walking way to hotel is inside the covered area surrounding by the restaurants and a supermarket named Hippo where you can find fresh seafood (alive).However, the correct exit of the metro isn't #2, but it is #3. Please do correct it on your website. I WOULD REALLY RECOMMEND IT.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! It was such a thoughtful touch that really enhanced our trip. Even better, the hotel offers free shuttle transport to Shanghai Disneyland—a huge convenience that saved us time and money. The shuttle was punctual, clean, and made the Disneyland experience even more enjoyable. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. Location-wise, the hotel is in a quiet and safe area, yet it is still very convenient for reaching key attractions. The value for what we received was outstanding.
