I got a great deal and this was amazing value. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel is nice - lobby is good and the robot that brings deliveries is nice. Although the staff couldn’t speak English they always tried with google translate. The cleaning of my room was good and efficient and I liked the free water bottles. Only thing was as my room was right next to the elevator it was quite noisy. But thank you Yitel! I had a great stay.

The hotel was a bit hard to find for someone who doesn't speak the language. None of the staff speaks English, but well, it's not a touristic hotel, so I guess it's understandable of course. The room was spacious, bed was hard but comfortable, there was all the basic amenities in the room. Everyday they would give you some free bottle of water and toilet paper. They would also change the bedsheets if you ask. There is a construction site at 20 meters from the hotel, but it was mentioned on the site before the booking, so, no problem there. Only downside is that everything is very old in the room and not maintained at all, windows was not shutting down properly, the curtains were so old that they were breaking down in some parts. But, for the value, it is definitely worth it. Location is great, the hotel is cheap. The cleaning lady is super nice, even tho she doesn't speak english, she still managed to help me to make the washing machine and dryer work, very nice of her !!!!
When I'll be back to Shanghai, i will definitely visit again. Great value if you don't want to spend too much, it is still a very decent place if you're not too fancy.

The room was clean and there was no smell of cigarette smoke inside, although there was a noticeable smell of smoke in the hallway. I booked two rooms, but on the first night, we were given rooms on different floors. However, we were able to change and stay on the same floor for the second night.
The front desk staff did not speak English very well, so it was sometimes hard to communicate. On the positive side, the location is great—very close to Metro Line 1 and the Shanghai Railway Station. The breakfast menu was almost the same every day.

The checking in experience was so fast and the receptionist guy helped me with the bag. Yes! There’s no lift because the hotel is on the second floor. The room is soooo clean and the bed is soft. The lady in the reception is also very kind to help me with my laundry for free. Found a gem in shanghai. Worth the stay.

The room is clean and tidy, the service attitude is very good, it is very convenient to go to Shanghai Railway Station, and it takes 8 minutes to walk to the North Square of the Railway Station. It is convenient to have breakfast around. Wonton, noodles, and buns are all available. It is also convenient to take the subway to Nanjing East Road.

The hotel is not so far from Red line (Shanghai Railway Station) Exit 1 is easier for you to walk to the hotel. Otherwise you will have to walk sooooo long... (i did that on day 1 of my trip because map doesn't really work well and in fact i almost cancelled it and book a new hotel lol)
It is clean, daily cleaning and super cheap i could stay here for weeks & it is not so far from all touristy places. Some are 5 stops away and some are like 3 stops away. I don't really mind.

Stayed here for two consecutive days. Overall, it is worth recommending. It is cost-effective, but you should pay more attention when cleaning the bed. Why are there fine particles? It makes me feel a little itchy.

Excellent hotel where I spent my night in Shanghai before taking the train to another city. The hotel is 5 minutes walking from Shanghai railway station and metro. The staff at the reception speech good English. And the breakfast was good and delicious. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I really recommend it, mostly if you need something calm and near to Shanghai railway station.

I love their services. Staff are friendly (both front desk and housekeeping). The hotel is clean and nearby to eatery (Chinese noodle stall/McDonald's/Western restaurant etc), convenient store (24hrs Lawson) and Luckin Coffee. Even if we reach the hotel super late like midnight we can still get food either via Lawson or takeaway (not available to deliver to the room but there is a placement counter outside the hotel which I sometimes ordered via alipay app when on the road back to the hotel so I can collect when I reach the hotel). Very easily get Didi from the hotel as the hotel is near to Shanghai railway station (Didi driver told me this area has a lot of Didi available due to the railway station).

The hotel upgraded our room to executive and it comes with dinner at their Chinese restaurant. However, we were unable to make it for dinner and they offered to change it to lunch. They sent our luggage up to the room while we enjoyed the lunch. Their services are excellent and they have a counter for parcel collection on behalf of the guest. Even if the parcel arrived earlier than the day we checked into the hotel, they will receive it on behalf based on the guest name. Excellent services! The bed is big and comfortable.

Although it is very close to the railway station, there is basically no noise except for one or two train whistles. The environment in the room is also very good. It is quite cost-effective to stay there for less than 300 yuan a night.

ZZKLinThis is my 2nd hotel around Shanghai railway station, Location I feel is the easiest to navigate at affordable price. Room is fairly clean and I appreciate the quiet atmosphere as compared to my previous hotel. The main issue is that inside out of my room has a strong cigarette smell during my stay. If you can take cigarette smell I think this hotel is suitable in terms of pricing and location.

AAnonymous UserI arrived at the hotel at around 1 a.m. At first, I was not sure if the Didi dropped me at the right place because I didn't see the name of the Hotel. You would need to know where to look for it in order to see the name of the Hotel. I hope that they will make it more visible in the future.
What's great about the hotel though is that it is just near the Shanghai railway and metro station(they are connected). You will have to use Exit 6. Once there, pass through the tunnel leading to Exit 6 to Moling road/manual ticket office for railway, then just walk a few more meters to reach the hotel.
Note: the hotel lobby is not along the street. You will first have to enter the parking area, then to your right, you will see the hotel lobby.

I returned to Shanghai on the 8th and have chosen another hotel to stay in. The cleaning lady was very careful and kept the room clean. She was also very easy to communicate with. Although the price is affordable, the service is really bad and she gave me a cold face. When I consulted, I was inexplicably scolded and indifferent. This is the worst time I have stayed in 50/60 hotels. I will never stay here again.
