😊The stay experience exceeded expectations.
When I was on a business trip, I wanted to find a hotel with a good location and close to the subway station. The location was easy to find. After checking in, the hotel staff was very friendly. Although it was above an office building, there were two doors on the floor, which was very safe.
To be honest, the hotel is a bit old, but the hygiene is very good. Clean and tidy. Some hidden corners are also very clean.
For business trips, people who have requirements for hygiene, safety, and location, it is indeed a recommended hotel.

I spent 5 days and 4 nights at this hotel and had a generally good experience. The room was spacious and equipped with basic amenities, though it’s worth noting that toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be requested upon check-in. Similarly, while daily cleaning services are provided, drinking water is replenished automatically, but other items require a specific request.
One feature I truly appreciated was the self-service laundry room, which added great convenience during my stay.
Location might not be centrally located and a distance away from the train station. Traveller pls take note and plan your trip accordingly.

Accompanying my son to the University of Finance and Economics for a foreign language exam, we found a hotel to stay overnight because the exam was early in the morning. It is very close to the University of Finance and Economics, and it is very convenient to get there after passing the Yixian Elevated Road. There are also many places to eat around. There is a residential area 300 to 500 meters on the left, including Lao Shengchang and Babi Mantou. There are Subway, Family Mart, McDonald's, and M stand at the entrance of the University of Finance and Economics.
The room is clean, the front desk is also very polite, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

Tancheng Hotel Shanghai / Arula Hotel located near Fudan University, this is my first time staying in Tancheng Hotel Shanghai visiting my daughter in Fudan university. the hotel room was big and has spacious lobby. Linda was very helpful and can speak English fluently so can assist me very well. other staff also very helpful. one plus thing they have paid washing machine so i can do our dirty laundry.
next time I'm visiting my daughter i will stay in Tancheng hotel shanghai again.

Confortable room, clean and very nice staff. The breakfast was a bit pricey for Shanghai, so we didn’t take it. Apart from that, it was perfect. The location is not for everyone as it is not in the centre, but we were visiting our daughter who studied in SUFE and her flat was 50 mts from us, so it was very practical. We stayed for over a week and loved it.

We basically needed a hotel near Fudan university because my son was taking his language exams there . We also didn’t want to pay all the money in the world for two nights haha! The location was totally perfect ! If you are looking for luxury , don’t stay here . But if you need a place to rest with a comfortable bed , welcome front desk staff and basic amenities plus a good location for buses , shopping malls and subway station , then it’s a great value for money deal! By the way, the hotel has recently been fully renovated and it really shows !

GGuest UserThe front desk service was good. The room was really nice, looking large and very clean. The maid did a good job of cleaning. I chose the smart model, which was called through Xiaodu. I tried it all and it can control the curtains, TV power on and off, the smart toilet, and the lights. Overall, it's OK. 😄 There's food and drink downstairs, which is quite convenient. I didn't realize there's no shortage of food around here until I stayed at this hotel. Hahaha. 😂 There are convenience stores and large supermarkets not far away. There's a bus at the door that can take me to wherever I want to go.
