The staff picked us up and dropped us off by buggy at the main gate, which made everything effortless. The host was incredibly helpful and explained the best way to explore Pingyao Ancient Town. The hotel has a beautiful traditional courtyard style, but the rooms are fully modern—well-sealed windows, a big projector screen, an automated toilet, super clean linens, and a very comfortable mattress. A cold wave hit during our stay, and the host even provided an extra heater to keep us warm, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we found this place and highly recommend it with confidence."

"The free parking is a huge plus for road trippers! Parking was super convenient, no long waits to find a spot. The location is absolutely fantastic. It's perfect for walking around the ancient city's streets, especially since it's incredibly close to 'Again Pingyao' – you're practically there as soon as you step out of the city gate! The guesthouse itself is charmingly old-fashioned, a typical Ming and Qing dynasty-style Jin Merchant courtyard. It looks especially beautiful at night when all the lights are on! The room is also very spacious with excellent natural light. In the mornings, the sunlight streams into the room, making it wonderfully bright. All the toiletries are provided, and the bathroom is large with continuous 24-hour hot water! All the facilities are new, and the bedding is very comfortable. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into decorating the room. The environment is beautiful, a peaceful oasis in the bustling city. It's quiet at night, far from the urban hustle and bustle, making for a very restful sleep. The cleanliness is truly exceptional. I saw the owner personally taking care of the cleaning, and every nook and cranny was spotless. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the bedding was pristine white with hardly a wrinkle! The service was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. The owner was always smiling and patiently explained everything I needed to know, recommending local specialty foods and helping plan detailed sightseeing routes and tips for Pingyao Ancient City. You can even ask the owner for discounts on meals and tickets! It's a guesthouse with a lot of heart. Definitely worth returning to for another stay! Highly recommended."

"At the end of the day of the Shanxi group tour, I decided to come to Pingyao to play. The boss was very enthusiastic and quickly booked the room on the high-speed rail. There was a car to pick it up at the station and it could be delivered to the entrance of the inn. The room was very clean and tidy. The boss will also take the map to help us customize the route of the ancient city. Going to the surrounding attractions will help contact the vehicle or travel agency. The recommended restaurants are also delicious, and the coupons are particularly cost-effective. The makeup photo is provided on the side of the hall, the price is clearly marked without hidden consumption, and the level of makeup artist is quite online! Perfectly solved the travel photography ✅ The baby took a group on the same day and was very satisfied. I originally planned to stay for one night, but I continued for three nights. "I was very satisfied with this guesthouse. It's conveniently located near the East Gate, making it easy to get to the City God Temple and the Confucius Temple. The room had everything you could need, and the bed was huge, big enough for many people. There was also a kettle and tea set, though I didn't use them. The entire three-courtyard complex was charmingly antique, with a distinct old city feel. But the biggest highlight was definitely the handsome and genuine owner. He provided attentive service from start to finish, marking key attractions and routes on a map for me, offering high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, and recommending Dong Ji Wantuo, which was delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try Hongwuji. I also couldn't take the aged vinegar he gave me as a gift because I didn't have checked luggage and couldn't bring it on the plane – what a shame. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"The owner was really nice. Since outside vehicles aren't allowed in the ancient city, I called ahead to ask about convenient parking, and they even helped carry my luggage into the city. It's closest to Xiaonanmen (South Gate). The area is quiet and not too far from South Street. The rooms and courtyard have a charming, old-world feel, and they're clean and comfortable."
