The staff picked us up and dropped us off by buggy at the main gate, which made everything effortless. The host was incredibly helpful and explained the best way to explore Pingyao Ancient Town. The hotel has a beautiful traditional courtyard style, but the rooms are fully modern—well-sealed windows, a big projector screen, an automated toilet, super clean linens, and a very comfortable mattress. A cold wave hit during our stay, and the host even provided an extra heater to keep us warm, which we really appreciated. We’re so glad we found this place and highly recommend it with confidence."

"The free parking is a huge plus for road trippers! Parking was super convenient, no long waits to find a spot. The location is absolutely fantastic. It's perfect for walking around the ancient city's streets, especially since it's incredibly close to 'Again Pingyao' – you're practically there as soon as you step out of the city gate! The guesthouse itself is charmingly old-fashioned, a typical Ming and Qing dynasty-style Jin Merchant courtyard. It looks especially beautiful at night when all the lights are on! The room is also very spacious with excellent natural light. In the mornings, the sunlight streams into the room, making it wonderfully bright. All the toiletries are provided, and the bathroom is large with continuous 24-hour hot water! All the facilities are new, and the bedding is very comfortable. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into decorating the room. The environment is beautiful, a peaceful oasis in the bustling city. It's quiet at night, far from the urban hustle and bustle, making for a very restful sleep. The cleanliness is truly exceptional. I saw the owner personally taking care of the cleaning, and every nook and cranny was spotless. Every detail was meticulously handled, and the bedding was pristine white with hardly a wrinkle! The service was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. The owner was always smiling and patiently explained everything I needed to know, recommending local specialty foods and helping plan detailed sightseeing routes and tips for Pingyao Ancient City. You can even ask the owner for discounts on meals and tickets! It's a guesthouse with a lot of heart. Definitely worth returning to for another stay! Highly recommended."

"The boss was very enthusiastic, contacted the free pick-up and drop-off high-speed rail station in advance, explained the route map of the small attractions in the ancient city in detail, and walked a lot of wrong roads. The residence is not far from the South Street City Building, a 5-minute walk. The hotel is decorated in an antique style, with a unique charm of Jinshang's mansion. The room was clean and tidy without smell. The patio of the courtyard feels the elegance of an ancient house, which is a punching place for makeup photos. Quiet in the middle of the house, no noise in sleep at night. Very good stay experience."

"I was very satisfied with this guesthouse. It's conveniently located near the East Gate, making it easy to get to the City God Temple and the Confucius Temple. The room had everything you could need, and the bed was huge, big enough for many people. There was also a kettle and tea set, though I didn't use them. The entire three-courtyard complex was charmingly antique, with a distinct old city feel. But the biggest highlight was definitely the handsome and genuine owner. He provided attentive service from start to finish, marking key attractions and routes on a map for me, offering high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, and recommending Dong Ji Wantuo, which was delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try Hongwuji. I also couldn't take the aged vinegar he gave me as a gift because I didn't have checked luggage and couldn't bring it on the plane – what a shame. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."
