The hotel is clean, modern, well decorated, the beds are huge and extremely comfortable. The shower is powerful and large, plenty of hanging space in the wardrobes and drawers. Plenty of sockets and a big mirror in the bedroom to do your hair. The communal areas look modern and very pretty. The swimming pool is good - very shallow one end, and deep the other. Sunbeds are not crammed in. There's a table between them and plenty of room to put your shoes, bags etc. The breakfast room is lovely and never that busy as lots of people sit outside and breakfast is served over a 3 hour period. The waiters are very friendly and efficient, as are all staff in this hotel. Good choice of hot and cold food. Orange juice very watered down. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and there are loads of books there if you forget to bring your own. The terrace is very pretty and well furnished. It really is only a 5 minute walk into the harbour and shopping area. The biggest downside of this hotel is the balconies. Many people just had a table and chairs outside their front doors on a communal walkway. We had a private balcony with mountain view. The view was ok but the balconies really need screens putting up between them. If you sit out, you literally sit only inches away from your next door neighbour on their balcony. I couldn't sit out as every time I went to do so, the man next door was sitting out smoking. There's no privacy and smoke wafting over was not pleasant. Screens would be such a simple fix and this really needs addressing. I also think the rooms that don't have a balcony should be greatly reduced in price and the description more widely available to customers so they know what they're getting. The other downside was the food and drink prices. It is so expensive in the hotel, we didn't eat or drink anything there. My friends had two Martini Biancos and it cost nearly 18 euros! Having said that, Skiathos is an expensive island. Eating out and drink prices are on a par with the UK. I would definitely return to this hotel if they sort out the lack of privacy on the balconies, as Skiathos is the prettiest Greek island I've been to, and I've been to many Greek islands.

This hotel is close to the main town but is still a 10-15 minute walk up a quiet road. The rooms are spacious and very clean - ours had a small balcony ( but not much of a view) Request a room overlooking the pool for the best view. The AC was quiet and effective . The pool area and bars were superb - very comfortable sun beds and drinks and food readily available .

The hotel was excellent… everything was exactly to my liking! The staff were amazing, they couldn’t have been more helpful. The pool was pristinely cleaned every day and the sun beds were very comfortable. I had a meal at the crazy cow. The food was exquisite, both myself and my friends enjoyed every second of the meal. Not only the food but the wine was recommended specially by the staff, for me and it was beyond perfection. The atmosphere from this hotel was something I have not experienced in any other location I have visited in Greece. There is something truly authentic and pure about this hotel. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends.

All I can say is wow… this hotel amazed from start to finish. The staff are attentive, doting on your every needs - nothing is too much of an ask. From boat trips, beach recommendations, car hires and even transfers at my request.. this hotel is 5 stars and even beyond. Aesthetically the rooms are impeccably clean, fresh and have an authentically “Greek” feel to them. The pool had plenty of space and empty beds always for us to relax, not to forget the pool bar and staff were excellent. The vibe of the hotel is tranquil and was perfect for myself and my husband. The hotel is situated in the heart of skiathos town- a perfect location to access everything necessary for an unforgettable vacation. I couldn’t be more grateful that I chose to stay at this hotel.

Definitely not 5 star … though rated a 4 star by Tui and Jet2. Location is on a tatty street our room overlooked car park and fish market , also it is further out of town than it states - along a road with very uneven surface dodging mopeds and cars. We had ants in our room even some in the bedding - they moved us to a different room but were not overly apologetic- should have been offered some recompense ! Rooms cleaned daily plenty of towels. Spacious comfy bed but bathrooms are very dated - black mould on grouting and shower & floors need replacing. Pool area very nice sunbeds very comfortable but never saw them being cleaned. Some broken tiles around pool. Breakfast just average need to do better - orange juice was awful made from powder , hot items on buffet barely warm, no cooking stations for eggs etc so eggs in warmer tray often hard. Showers and toilets next to pool need upgrading - very dated and in poor state, Had some great meals in Skiathos old town which is very pretty, We would not return here

I have a visual impairment, I’m blind in one eye, my other eye’s pupil does not change in size going from light to dark making it very difficult in extreme light and dark, plus it has a cataract. My booking was through Tui which described my room as being a twin room with balcony or terrace plus 1 sofa bed etc.. Tui kindly made a medical requirement for a light bright room. I also emailed the hotel to explain my problem which I always do. I received a polite reply saying they would try their best to accommodate me! The room they gave me was absolutely disgusting, it was very dark with just a small window and no outside space. They called it a shared terrace when it was simply a shared walk way. I was informed I had only booked a standard room!!! I told the reservations manager I couldn’t stay there I would have to move. I was asked to give it one night and see how I coped. I politely told him.. tell you what I’ll poke you in the eye so you can’t see, then you tell me how you cope!! I was staying 11 nights.. they also had the cheek to charge me their 5* tourist tax rate an extra €10 a night for that room!! I had been travelling since the early hours coming specifically for Greek Easter which had started. I struggle with fibromyalgia and was in a lot of pain having to wear a neck support. Tired and frustrated I wanted to try and find somewhere else to stay. Reception said they would try and move me but they were fully booked!!! I struggled at breakfast as the tables were too close together, they also have lots of staff walking around getting in the way all the time making it very difficult for me. The levels around the hotel are up and down, steps here, slopes there, cracked tiles around the pool with trip hazards. Sun beds so close together you have to walk close to the pool to get to a bed, again a risk hazard for anyone! Lots of staff standing around doing not a lot, very charming and friendly but not once did any of them walk round the pool and ask if you wanted a drink.. no you had to go to the bar, order and then they would bring it over. I had to leave my door open when I was in my room apart from when I was getting showered and dressed. Nowhere to put my swimming stuff to dry or rinse through some underwear as it was a walkway with just a table and chair outside. I have never stayed in such a bad room in all my travels and I have stayed 5* on many occasions in Greece (check my reviews). I spoke to Tui after a week who informed me the hotel always has spare rooms for emergencies, hey presto I was moved the next day with just 4 days left of my stay there. I was moving to The Troulos Bay Hotel for the remainder of my holiday so booked and paid the hotels transfer.. as I was leaving a lady on reception told me she would miss me, really I don’t think so!! The icing on the cake was the transfer.. wearing my neck brace because I was in pain I had to ask someone staying there to take my cases to the hotels transfer vehicle. The driver jus
