GGuest UserI loved Nukumori No Yado Furukawa! I was an American solo traveler, but my wife is Japanese (we have 2 boys), so I am very familiar with Japanese culture. I wanted to go to a place that Japanese people would love, not a tourist-focused place. From the moment I entered, the service was excellent. I was greeted, checked in quickly, then accompanied to my room for explanations of how everything operates. My room was very comfortable. The facilities, including bath area, foot soaking areas, lobby, lounges, etc. - were all clean and comfortable. The lounge next to the lobby was a cozy place to relax, and most of the lounges included food and drink during at least some point of the day. I visited in mid-October so the leaves were changing color and the temperature outside was crisp but not too cold. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I hope to return again with the rest of my family. Highly recommended!

One downside was the table. We had to leave very early and, due to that, ate breakfast in the room. The tiny table did not provide much space.

11366199****This is an older, established onsen hotel. The public bath was very comfortable and not crowded, with toiletries from Pola and another brand provided. The room was spacious, and the private onsen in the room was also very relaxing. In the lounge area, you can enjoy bread, coffee, and juice, and alcoholic beverages are available in the evenings. The hotel offers a free bus service from Odori Station; we booked the 11:30 AM bus to the hotel and the 1:00 PM bus back to Sapporo, which worked out well for our timing. The hotel's food was just average.

MM20185****The room was quite small, we could barely open our suitcase. We had a view of the tower, and it's pretty close to Sapporo Station, which made it very convenient for going out and shopping. Pulling a suitcase through the snow in winter was a bit challenging though. The hotel's breakfast was just average, and you weren't allowed to wear hotel slippers to breakfast. Only the ice cream was good.

SSuiranshijingshenbingdanshimeiguanxiA truly pleasant stay! The hotel is conveniently located, just a ten-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and the surrounding area is quiet. Although the room wasn't spacious, it was well-designed, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, were very friendly and welcoming, and proactively offered advice on city transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, with a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and I especially recommend the freshly prepared hot food. The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a highly cost-effective choice for both business trips and city sightseeing. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

PPaul Jun JieAs a non japanese speaker, i tried using google translate to give my request to the lady at the front desk which was a unique one.
I pointed to my phone and as i was typing ”I have 2 bicycles and need to know if i can park them here or go somewhere else, can you help me?”
she said in an increasingly loud and frustrated tone, despite me asking her to wait as i typed: ”passport, Passoport.. PASSPORT PLEASE!”
I showed her the translation and she let out a ”HUH?! Bicycle?!?” in such a rude way that made me feel like wow am i making a very complex request? did i speak rudely? did i ask a very difficult thing that's so absurd that she never heard it before? Either way i wish her well. perhaps she had a bad day or bad encounter before me. Just wish i didnt have to be on the receiving end of that. Still, the place is clean and has a bath house in the basement which is great!

The bed was a little firm for my liking but standard for Japanese beds.
The ”private room” was great, for the price I was impressed with the size and privacy that I had.
The onsen was perfect after 12 hours of travelling - there is 2 hot baths, 2 cold baths and a dry sauna. Warning, if you have tattoos they don't like you using the onsen.
Good location, only 2 stops on the subway to the central area and walking distance to most places.

MM295973****The view from the hotel window was absolutely stunning, and the room was very spacious. All in all, it was a great experience. Our flight arrived early, so we got to the hotel at 12 PM, but the hotel was fantastic. They had a room ready and let us check in early so we could catch up on sleep. I'll definitely stay here again next time! ❤️

KKODAIIt was my first visit in 18 years, since my elementary school field trip.
The facilities are a little old, but the hospitality was evident in the rooms, restaurant, pool, and spa. I was also pleased with the welcome sweets. It's a hotel I'd like to visit again, and I was very satisfied.
