the staff was super friendly and helpful, location is amazing near the beach and shops. Room was okay, nice size but the mattress was old and not comfortable at al, but the staff was more than willing to sort that out. Food was also okay, in my opinion there could be more seafood options.

Best location, right by beach & shops , nice bar with attentive barman . Room 101 was my room , it was awful… bathroom was tiny so much so the shower was literally in the loo, it was disgusting…. Had to have curtains closed all week as tables of people eating right outside my window which was ridiculous, no privacy whatsoever. Could be such a nice hotel if them things were addressed. Food was nice although only had it 3 times .would stay again if I had a better room but I think there are probably much better places than this hotel .

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and individual hotel. 3 different pools, very clean, nice flowers on the property and very friendly and helpful staff. We will remember Manos (bar) and Xenia (service) since they have been amazing!

Lovely atmosphere, top class experience, friendly people. The Hotel is located just by a beautiful beach. Will definitely come back to enjoy the hospitality and the delicious traditional recipient of the in-house Veni restaurant.🙏❤️💪🫶

Residence Villas is an amazing hotel . The interior uses antique furniture . Staff is very friendly , always smiling and ready to help you any time . Service beyond praise . Special thank you would like to say to administrator Nelly , everything that she was doing - high level . Food is varied , fresh and tasty Definitely planning to come back

We spent 10 days at Residence and the whole experience was wonderful again, since it was the second time we visited!! The hotel is very cozy and beautifully decorated! The people were so kind, friendly and always there to help! We felt the real Greek hospitality. We tasted traditional food (buffet) with variety every day and much of raki (traditional cretan drink) at the bar!!! Its location very convenient with a distance of 30 meters from the beach!

The hotel is in a fantastic location just up from the beach but its catered for the German population, 99% of the hotel is German guests which is fine but just wish they had said that before booking our 4 nights here, the pool is disgusting and hasn't been cleaned for god knows how long also we only ate there once and the food wasn't great. The rooms are OK very basic but it is Greece and that's too be expected. They should say that it caters more for the German tourist somewhere on there site but it never bothered us as found the Germans very pleasant but just think it should be mentioned as it may not be for some people that's all, overall stalis is a lovely place to stay but if your wanting a big pool that is clean then I would suggest staying elsewhere although the location is very good, Michael the barman is very good and makes an effort to speak to everyone, the room was also never cleaned during our 4 day stay so that could have been better aswell

Booked to stay for 4 nights and was given a choice of room from many of the quirky rooms. The manager - Neli was plesant so couldn't fault her hospitality. We chose a room on the 2nd floor as it had a small terrace which had the sun all day. We ventured down to the pool - 😕 It was not very clean and lots of things floating in it. Also we quickly learned our terrace was shared, the couple next door had to walk by us to get to their room, it was not private. There was no bin for rubbish. A lot of white dust on the floors The shower needs a bigger shower head as it was too small to benefit from enjoying the shower. I would rate Residence a 3 star, our bed sheets weren't changed, or room cleaned, this would have been appreciated. 😊 Location - great Decor - nice The terrace downstairs is lovely and very tidy. Near all the amenities, bars, restaurants and the beach. Michel the barman is great and chatted to us everyday, this made our stay enjoyable. Hopefully it makes some improvements for the future.

We chose to stay in this hotel only because of the good reviews we saw, but reality was quite different and does not correspond with 4 star facility. We were disappointed with the room and especially with the bathroom, both being very small (you can not shower without spraying toilet all over... which is nasty). You can hear a lot (more than you want to) from neighboring room and toilet. The quality of some food was very poor-especially soups and meat (beef was uneatable, fish: only mackerel and sardines with lot of bones), so we ended up eating warm vegetables and salads most of the time, which were good, as were some of the deserts. Both me and my wife had back pain from the bed, room was not cleaned every day... the glasses for drinks in the restaurant were dirty... On the other hand, the location of the hotel is very nice, very close to the beach. The hotel has a feeling of privacy, and does not feel crowded, which was the best quality of this hotel.
