Guest UserI highly recommend Shenzhen Youlin Youth Hostel! It's perfect for solo male travelers coming to Shenzhen for job hunting or a short trip.
The location is very close to the subway, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The community has strict security, and access is via a password lock, so you feel safe returning at night. The entire place is thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom has no odors, and the bedding is changed promptly, keeping the beds clean and fresh. Each bed has a blackout curtain, an independent power outlet, and a lockable cabinet, so you can draw the curtain for a private space and won't be disturbed.
The common areas are equipped with a washing machine, hot water, tables, and chairs, making it easy for simple cooking or working. The owner is genuinely helpful and responds quickly to requests, even sharing tips on nearby commutes and good places to eat. Most of the other guests are quiet and reliable young people whose routines don't interfere with each other. The value for money is excellent, making it a top choice for short-term stays. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!

Walk n See
Future Hotel Shenzhen Review (December 2025)
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Decent budget option for a short stay in Shenzhen, but falls short of expectations, especially if you’re hoping for a truly “new” hotel experience.
Location: 4/5
The hotel is conveniently located right next to a pleasant park, perfect for a quick walk or some fresh air. It’s also just a 5-minute stroll to the nearest subway station, making it easy to get around Shenzhen without needing taxis everywhere. Great for travelers relying on public transport.
First Impressions and Facilities: 2/5
Advertised as a newly opened hotel, but by late 2025, it didn’t feel fresh or modern at all. The lobby is unusually located on the 7th floor, accessed via an elevator that’s just beside a larger neighboring hotel. The lift area felt dim and outdated compared to the brighter, more upscale vibe of the bigger property nearby. The lobby itself is compact, dimly lit, and lacks any welcoming or luxurious atmosphere—more functional than inviting.
Room: 4/5
The room size was surprisingly generous for the price point in Shenzhen, where space often comes at a premium. It was very clean overall, with a large, comfortable bed topped with four plush pillows, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The big flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the bathroom was decently sized with a good shower and separate toilet area. No complaints on comfort here.
Service and Issues: 3/5
The major downside was a frustrating check-in experience. Using the hotel’s systems, the receptionist assigned me to a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet, it still reeked strongly of cigarette smoke and clearly wasn’t ready. I had to trek back down to the lobby (7th floor elevator and all) to get a new key and room assignment. This kind of mix-up feels avoidable and soured the arrival.
Final Thoughts
Nothing particularly stands out or excels at Future Hotel Shenzhen—it’s serviceable and clean in the rooms, with a solid location and value for money, but the dark, dated common areas, misleading “newly opened” vibe, and the room assignment error make it underwhelming. I wouldn’t skip Shenzhen altogether, but I’d definitely choose a different hotel next time I’m in the city. Suitable if you’re on a tight budget and prioritize location over polish.

Zhanghongbo1122Right next to Gaoxin Park Metro Station, this is a great place to stay temporarily if you're starting a new job nearby. The room was spacious and very clean, and the large balcony was perfect for drying clothes or just relaxing. There were multiple tables in the common room for working on a laptop. The other guests I met were all really nice, and the hostel even organized a hike up Tanglang Mountain on the weekend. It's a vibrant youth hostel, not one of those quiet city dorms where no one talks. During my stay, one guest was snoring, and the owner actually moved him to another room – the attention to detail in management is truly impressive and rare to find.

Anonymous UserLet's start with the positives:
The location is excellent – close to the subway, bus, shopping areas, and parks. All the surrounding amenities are available, including a wet market.
The room is spacious enough, and the smart home system is very convenient. It's well-equipped with screens on the windows, conditioner, and mosquito coils. There's really nothing to fault.
The bedding is comfortable and relatively clean.
The shower space is ample, and the hot water is excellent.
There's space to hang clothes and open luggage.
Overall, the amenities are almost perfect.
The downsides mainly revolve around cleanliness and noise.
Noise is a common issue for this type of hotel. The water pipes are very loud, and there's a small gym on the sixth floor. If you're on the fifth floor, the entire ceiling vibrates with your heartbeat. Fortunately, no one seems to be jumping around late at night, so earplugs should do the trick for sleeping.
Cleanliness is more problematic, it's really not up to par. All the vertical surfaces are stained and grubby. You have to be careful of dirt on the curtains. One day, after the auntie changed the linen, I found obvious, disgusting stains on the second towel. This made me wonder about the first towel I had used, which was folded on top...
I can only suggest they pay more attention to cleanliness.

First off, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – super convenient for the subway, buses, taxis, and dining. Also, the service and communication from one of the female supervisors were excellent.
Now for the facts. I arrived at the hotel a little after 3 PM. The first time I tried to use my key card, it didn't work. The second time I got into a room, it hadn't been cleaned. The third time, the room I was given already had guests in it. I had to go back and forth myself each time; no hotel staff offered to help or actually checked the rooms beforehand.
After all this happened, the hotel staff didn't immediately offer compensation or a new room. Instead, they suggested I wait for my booked room to be cleaned. I refused to wait and mentioned I would report it to the consumer association. Only then did the hotel offer a free room upgrade, but nothing else.

Guest UserFacilities: The facilities are excellent and well-equipped.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: Great, great!
Service: The service was exceptionally good! I couldn't figure out the air conditioning, and they patiently helped me adjust it. Then I lost a ring, and after I told the front desk, they kept looking for it for me. They found it after two days! Highly, highly recommend!

Nari.I recently stayed at the She & He International Apartment (Shenzhen Luohu Theater Mixc), and it turned out to be an outstanding choice for my trip to Shenzhen. If you are looking for a highly convenient, comfortable, and budget-friendly place to stay in the heart of the Luohu District, this apartment-style hotel is hard to beat.
1. Unbeatable Location and Accessibility
The absolute best feature of this property is its strategic location. It is incredibly close to the Grand Theater Metro Station (just a 3-minute walk from Exit D), which made navigating the city’s extensive subway network completely hassle-free. Additionally, the famous Laojie (Old Street) pedestrian shopping area is only about a 10-minute walk away. For shopping and dining, you are spoiled for choice: the high-end MixC mall and KK Mall are right on your doorstep, packed with countless local and international restaurants, cafes, and retail shops.
2. Comfortable Rooms with Home-Like Amenities
Since the rooms are located on the higher floors of the building, the apartment offers fantastic, panoramic views of the Shenzhen cityscape and nearby landmarks like the Diwang Mansion. The room itself was remarkably spacious, spotlessly clean, and free of any unpleasant odors. What sets this place apart from traditional hotel rooms is the inclusion of practical home amenities. Having a private washing machine and a refrigerator in the room was incredibly convenient for managing laundry and storing drinks during the warm summer days. The bedding was also exceptionally soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
3. Efficient Service and Great Value
The front desk service was warm, polite, and very efficient. One minor detail to note is that check-in requires a quick QR code scan, which took an extra minute but was easy enough to manage. A standout perk of this hotel is the generous 1:00 PM late check-out policy, giving guests plenty of time for a relaxed morning before departure. Considering the competitive pricing, the spaciousness of the room, and the unparalleled convenience of the location, this property offers incredible value for money.
Whether you are visiting Shenzhen for a shopping weekend, business, or sightseeing, She & He International Apartment provides a comfortable, stress-free base. I would highly recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families alike, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Luohu.

Guest UserThis is a honest review about Jufuyuan Apartment. The location is around 10 minutes away from Dongmen Pedestrian Street and the grocery store but there is a 24/7 convenience store located downstairs. Upon check in I asked the lady boss why there was no sofa compared to the pictures on the website as she told me different rooms have different layouts. There was a problem with the AC on the living area that is why the guy boss had to adjust the room temperature for us to sleep comfortably. It can sleep 4 people as we were billeted on the 31st floor. The guy boss was so kind as to help me order items from taobao as I needed to order items from the app and my alipay wont connect to the taibao app that is why I asked him to use his app and he ordered for me. He also helped me to look for a key duplicating store on the last day as I stayed there for 5 days. But I can't say much about the lady boss(his wife) as we asked her for help on the last day to book a didi taxi since I don't know how to use the app. She didn't help me and told me to ask someone downstairs to book it yet the guard didn't know how to either. We can speak mandarin but I find the attitude of the lady boss not so good compared to his husband who was so kind to help me out. Good thing a taxi stopped by and we were able to catch a ride to the port going back to HK. It was raining then so we had to take a taxi back to the port. Location wise it is okay if youre not with seniors as my parents had a hard time going to the Pedestrian street(30 mins walk from them). There was typhoon for 2 days so we didn't go out. My parents were sick but the good thing is there was a hospital in front and a pharmacy besides it, wherein I bought medicines and food for them. Subway is around 200 meters but you need to carry your stuff going down as there was no escalator going down only up. 4 Restaurants were across the apartment. There were several small roaches that they really need to disinfect the room as I saw them crawling on the wall. Most units then were not occupied as it was lean season but saw some units have a balcony wherein ours didn't have any. If not for the kindness of the guy boss I would say I still had a pleasant experience staying there. The apartment is more of an Airbnb type that you have to provide everything. No water or tea was provided during our stay. There was a washing machine besides the bathroom which helped us to wash our clothes when we were there.

The location is decent, about 500m from Hourui Metro Station. My main issue was with checking in. After I arrived, I contacted the hotel manager, who seemed completely confused. I sent him my ID information and was told to wait for the check-in details. After waiting for half an hour with no message, I called him. He insisted he had already sent them to me. It wasn't until my second call that he realized he had sent the details to someone else and not me. Once I finally got the details, I went up to the 8th floor, only to find the room was already occupied. I called him again, and he admitted he'd made a mistake and assigned me a different room. So I had to go all the way up to the 12th floor. What a hassle! Inside the room, the bathroom faucet wouldn't turn off completely and kept dripping. Plus, there were quite a few mosquitoes.

Everything was good. It was very quiet in the hostel itself. I stayed for 1 day to see what was interesting in the city center. There wasn't a towel, but they responded quickly to messages. The hostel is located on the 11th floor. There's a window, so the air is fresh. The toilet is just a hole in the ground though, no Western-style toilets.
