GGuest UserMeeting Selene for the first time, I was immediately struck by the genuine smile in her eyes—it wasn't a professional facade, but pure sincerity. During check-in, she quietly informed me that my room had been complimentary upgraded, as if sharing a delightful little secret. With patience, she circled authentic local eateries on the map: the beef offal hotpot downstairs, a late-night dessert shop, and the alleys near Senado Square, all within walking distance. Every detail conveyed a thoughtful 'I'm treating you like a friend' vibe.
What truly impressed me was her gentle demeanor and composure. Even with the phone ringing constantly behind her, she calmly and unhurriedly answered all my questions.
Selene truly brought warmth to the hotel. If Art House is Macao's artistic living room, then she is the warmest lamp in that room—making you want to return again and again.
MMengmengda2024The hotel's location is fantastic! There's a bus stop right downstairs with direct routes to the airport, Taipa Ferry Terminal, various hotels in Taipa, and even the Macau Peninsula – super convenient. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was nice and soft, which was great for staying with a child. All the toiletries and slippers were provided for free. Plus, there's a whole street of great eateries just downstairs. It's a shame that Yang Zhi Jin Lao, a restaurant downstairs, was under renovation during my stay and I could only order takeout. All in all, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it.
YYuyuyuyuyuyeaGreat location! The bus stop is right downstairs. The hotel is on a small hill, and if you turn left and go up a couple of slopes, you'll reach the fort.
The bedding felt a bit damp, but it was acceptable. The cleanliness was very good!
It's an older hotel, so it has a very retro vibe!
The front desk gave us a free upgrade!
GGuest UserThe hotel room was small, but surprisingly comfortable and cozy. The best part was its fantastic location; we could walk to everything on the Macau Peninsula, and catching the Grand Lisboa shuttle to Taipa Island was incredibly convenient. The only downside was that the breakfast was the same for all four days, with very limited options.
GGuest UserI booked the hotel for my foreign friend. She gave me feedback after she checked out. Here is her comments:
Great Location
Lots of Buses
Next to the Macau Polytechnic University.
3 stars, but clean, excellent cleaning ladies.
Chinese Breakfast
Good coffee
Staff English speakers
Close to other big Hotels with Free Shuttle buses to The Big new *******.
GGuest UserThe staff were quite nice, and when I checked in at noon, the room seemed pretty good in all aspects. But then, after I came back from exploring in the evening, the nightmare began!
As soon as I entered the room, there was a faint smell of smoke, but I wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I just assumed it was wafting in from outside the window (not asking to check or change rooms at that point was a big mistake). Then, around 11 or 12 o'clock, when I was getting ready for bed, the smoke smell became increasingly strong. After searching around for a long time, I finally confirmed it was almost certainly coming through the bathroom's exhaust fan or ventilation system!!! Since I was traveling alone, I didn't dare call someone to follow up in the middle of the night. I just suffered through the night until daylight, had breakfast, and left immediately.
Ambiance: Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Smoke smell! Super strong! If you have rhinitis, you absolutely must avoid this place! It was so unbearable, like torture (it must have been the smoke coming from the exhaust fan in the picture 🚬).
Llusia00Super good and convenient hotel!
Initially, I thought this hotel across the road from the airport would be inconvenient. However, it turned out that after taking a taxi, it was literally a three-step walk, just the width of a crosswalk away. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, the hotel was very clean, and there was no noise at all – I couldn't hear any planes taking off. If you're looking for a layover spot for an early morning flight the next day, this is an excellent choice.
GGuest UserFor Macau, this room size is pretty decent. There's no strange smell in the room, and it's very clean. The view is also beautiful. Since I was attending a concert at Broadway, it was only about a 5-minute walk away. You can walk indoors from Broadway to Galaxy, and then from the exit next to the Apple flagship store, cross the road and walk for 5-10 minutes to reach The Venetian. It's incredibly convenient. Everyone can take the Galaxy shuttle bus from the airport, then walk through the mall to Broadway, and then walk to the hotel. It's super convenient! Walking to Rua do Cunha only takes about 20 minutes. This hotel is highly recommended.
GGuest UserI brought my child to Macau for a competition and only stayed one night. This room type has one large bed and a sofa bed, which was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. The room was clean and quite spacious. It's very close to the Border Gate and Qingmao Port, just a 13-minute walk away. Across the road downstairs is the Lai Lai Supermarket, and on the second floor of the hotel, there's a Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices, making it very convenient. Both the front desk and room service staff spoke Mandarin and were very friendly.
