"Excellent! We had a spacious room with three beds. The service was fantastic, and they provided free bottled water. You could even buy instant noodles at the front desk, which was a nice touch, haha. It's super convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the location is easy to find. Highly recommended!"

Hotel Central

This is *the* hotel to choose when visiting Macau, no question! A bit pricey, but absolutely flawless otherwise! I've stayed here for three consecutive years now, and it's consistently excellent! The service attitude is fantastic, the hygiene is top-notch, and the decor is beautiful and elegant. It's super conveniently located right near Senado Square! You get complimentary mini-bar access (once per stay), including snacks, red wine, and drinks. You can even try your hand at pour-over coffee, which is a really cool experience! We booked a twin room, and the window offered a view of the famous Ruins of St. Paul's, which was absolutely brilliant! They also noted that it was a birthday celebration, and the hotel thoughtfully decorated the room and even sent a small cake! I was so delighted!

Andaz Macau

This time, I chose the Andaz, part of the Galaxy Macau series, for my birthday trip to Macau. I picked it because it's a new opening and not an old hotel. I remembered passing by before and thinking the air conditioning was very strong and comfortable. I also wanted to visit the Grand Resort Deck at Galaxy, and happily, all guests staying at Galaxy series hotels get free access to the facilities, which is truly great value for money. My flight was delayed, so I arrived quite late. The check-in lobby is on the sixth floor. A few days prior, the hotel had sent an email asking for my estimated arrival time and preferred time for the birthday cake. Ms. Ophelia and Ms. Sophia at the front desk warmly greeted us. They were very sweet and detailed in explaining the check-in process, asked about our needs, offered itinerary suggestions, and even wrote down the facility operating hours for us. They also thoughtfully gave my child a gift of juice and biscuits, fearing they might be hungry, and gave us each a waterproof phone pouch to use while swimming. If you're traveling with children, you can request a kids' tent. Upon entering the room, there really was a kids' tent with pillows and blankets featuring the Galaxy mascot peacock. However, I didn't see the stuffed animals that some netizens shared in their reviews; I'm not sure if they were out of stock. The room felt a bit small compared to other hotels, but the children's amenities were very complete: a bottle warmer, a bathtub, and cute, high-quality cups and toiletries. Every evening, during turndown service, the housekeeping staff left small gifts like eye cream and lip balm, and on the last night, they gave steam eye masks, which was a special touch. There's a one-time mini-bar refill, which is a bit hard to understand for a four-night stay – regardless of the number of nights, it's only once. They provided two pairs of slippers and a gift box from Yeng Kee Bakery. Access to the Galaxy Kids Club and the Marriott Kids' Zone is free for two hours daily. The Grand Resort Deck is also free, but entering from the Marriott or walking there, or taking a shuttle to the 2nd floor of Galaxy, is a bit inconvenient. There are also too few changing rooms and no spin dryers, so it's a hassle to have to put on your swimsuit in the room before going. There's a welcome drink at noon, and from 5:00-7:00 PM, there's an alcoholic afternoon tea, but there are too few seats and too many people, with limited food choices. We opted to pay for breakfast at the Andaz Kitchen one day; you can just queue up to buy and enter. It was quite exquisite and delicious, but the dining tables were a bit small, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff, making table clearing slower. You can order coffee, tea, or juice at the table... Overall, the experience was good.

Super new, super clean, and a fantastic location. Location: It's about a two to three-minute walk from the Ruins of St. Paul's and St. Dominic's Church. Right outside, you can catch direct buses (26, 21) to Taipa, the Parisian, and the Londoner. A ten-minute walk takes you to the Grand Lisboa entrance, where you can find the direct airport bus (MT1). Room: The room isn't particularly spacious, and the pictures are true to life. If you prioritize space, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if cleanliness, location, and price are your main concerns, then I highly recommend it. Value for money: Especially for solo travelers, the price is good and it feels very safe. What more could you ask for in a new hotel located in a tourist area at this price point? Service: The front desk staff were all excellent, and they offer luggage storage. Facilities: There's a wireless charger on the nightstand, plenty of wall outlets (mainland chargers work directly), and USB ports. The hairdryer is a Laifen, and the airflow is surprisingly powerful! 😂 The window can be opened, and the building opposite isn't residential or office space, so there are no privacy issues. A great experience! 👍🏻

The hotel's location is superb. It's about a 300-meter walk from Exit A of the Macau Barra Transport Hub. The Barra Transport Hub includes a bus terminal and the Barra Station, which is the terminus of the Macau Light Rail Taipa Line. From the Taipa Line, you can transfer to the Hengqin Line at Lotus Checkpoint Station to reach Hengqin Port, or transfer to the Seac Pai Van Line at Union Hospital Station to go to Seac Pai Van. The hotel itself exudes understated luxury, surrounded by lush greenery, with the sounds of birds chirping and cicadas singing, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The hotel's location is already a popular spot, and I even saw people taking wedding photos there. The front desk service is thoughtful and professional. Although the hotel currently doesn't have an elevator, staff are arranged to help carry luggage upstairs, which is quite convenient. The room was very clean and tidy, with all necessary toiletries provided, and even mosquito repellent equipment. I only used the electric mosquito coil and didn't notice any mosquitoes in the room. The hotel has good sound insulation and is very quiet, with excellent privacy protection. Housekeeping and replenishment of daily necessities only occur with the guest's notification, and non-guests are not allowed into the guest room areas. The hotel's breakfast is semi-buffet, offering both Chinese and Western options. Although simple, it's very delicious. There are also additional self-service items like bread, fruit, and coffee. The restaurant on the second floor serves excellent food and is very popular; you often need to make a reservation to get a table, otherwise, you might have to dine on the outdoor terrace. However, dining on the outdoor terrace in the evening is also a great option. Firstly, it's not too hot and there are no mosquitoes, and secondly, you get an unobstructed view of the bay's sunset and night scenery (the sunset and night views of Hengqin and Zhuhai across the sea are also quite beautiful). All in all, it's a great hotel, and I would choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

Booked the family room with an adjoining kids' room. The room was quite spacious, and the night view of the Macau Tower from the sea-facing window was beautiful. They even gave us three delicious egg tarts! The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way, and the uphill walk can be tiring. However, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is located on a slope, so getting up and down is very steep and would be quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The bus stop is close to the hotel, but again, the climb is challenging. The room was spacious, and I was pleased to find an iron and ironing board. The hotel has a cozy, Portuguese style. There's a small pool, which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was modest, with coffee in a thermos, but you won't go hungry. We walked to the sea to swim but decided against going in. The water was very murky, and there were dead fish floating around. Only a couple of Chinese tourists were on the beach. Housekeeping was very poor; all the towels and bedding should be replaced. Everything was old and worn out, and the duvet covers were synthetic. There was mold in the bathroom. And the icing on the cake – a huge, 5cm cockroach ran in and scared the children.
