GGuest UserBeihai SOWN Song Hotel holiday experience full marks, unique clay buildings indoors and outdoors are easy to shoot, and rainy days do not affect filming. The staff service is very warm and thoughtful, the butler intimately asks about birthdays, honeymoon layouts, flower cakes are exquisite and the ceremony is full. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are very complete. Coffee, fresh fruits and snacks are ready for supply in the room. They also prepare ladies' special care products, slippers, and other daily necessities. Breakfast is open until 2 pm, very friendly to holiday people who like to sleep late. The whole area is built by a team. The park has its own painting exhibition, cafe, ceramic cultural and creative shop. It walks directly to the coconut forest beach. It is very suitable for girls to travel on vacation.

MM30387****Thank you for an amazing stay! They upgraded our room for free, and the butler service was incredibly responsive, truly the 'Haidilao' of hotels when it comes to service. The experience was fantastic! The hotel views are absolutely stunning; you step right out to the ocean, and every picture you take looks like it's from a magazine. They proactively contact you the night before to discuss your breakfast preferences, and the afternoon tea desserts are excellent, as is the goodnight stew. Our room also had a minibar with complimentary water, drinks, and snacks. I admit I was a bit worried at first after seeing some negative reviews about service on Weizhou Island [facepalm emoji]! But they helped us with our luggage throughout our stay and accommodated all our requests, not to mention the thoughtful greetings every time we saw them. We'll definitely be back just for this emotional value! Last night, I was almost moved to tears when the food delivery driver couldn't find our location. The kind gentleman with glasses patiently gave directions and then, in the blink of an eye, sprinted out to help me get our meal. Thank you, and thank you to every single staff member for your hard work! Special shoutouts to Ms. Youzi, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Sanqi, and indeed, all the staff members!

GGuest UserThis is my first time leaving a review voluntarily, and it's truly because I had such a wonderful stay! The hotel facilities are top-notch, but what really impressed me was the service. It was exceptional! A group chat was set up a day before our arrival, with seven staff members dedicated to our party of one. They responded instantly to all our requests. When we arrived, several butlers were waiting at the entrance. Each butler assisted one family, and I didn't have to carry my luggage once. When we left, the butler came to collect our luggage and arranged a car for us. Breakfast was served at our reserved time and was absolutely delicious. There was also afternoon tea and evening desserts. The mini-bar was fully stocked with food, drinks, and alcohol, and it was replenished daily. Upon entering our room, we were provided with aloe vera gel, sun umbrellas, and a small fan. The best part was the complimentary laundry and drying service—that was a real lifesaver! After swimming, we'd just toss our dirty clothes into a basket, and soon after, the butler would return them clean and folded. We could swim three times a day without worrying about running out of clothes. The bar at night was great too. It was closed the first night due to rain but opened the next day. I thought about ordering a Long Island Iced Tea, and to my surprise, the staff asked for my room number and informed me I had a 100-yuan voucher, so I didn't have to pay – a pleasant surprise! During our stay, there was a southwest swell, and ferry services were suspended the previous weekend, so we were worried about getting to the island. Thankfully, we made it smoothly. When we saw that a pool room was available, they upgraded us for one day (as other room types were fully booked for the second day). We were incredibly lucky that the guests in the pool room checked out the next day, and the hotel proactively extended our upgrade for another day, saving us the hassle of moving rooms. In short, everything was perfect, and there's so much more I haven't even mentioned. It's truly a top choice for a vacation! We stayed for two nights, then left for Beihai on the third day and stayed at another five-star hotel, but their service was incomparable. My daughter's first words the next morning were, 'Can they bring breakfast to us?' 😂😂😂 It was so good, we'll definitely be back!

KKelanGStayed for four days and three nights. Although Tiangong is not beautiful, the intimate service of the hotel and the housekeeper Xiao Zhao is definitely the ceiling of the industry. First, the island is free to use a car for sightseeing. Where to go, you can contact the housekeeper to set off, eliminating the trouble of renting a car on the island. Second, after buying in the seafood market and then processing at the hotel, not only the processing taste is top-notch, but also the amazing display! Every dish is not only delicious but also beautiful, this detail is really amazing! ! Third, every day breakfast is different, just go to the table and wait, it is also very hard. Fourth, Xiao Zhao and the butlers' service is too good, not to mention the car pick-up, and will also recommend reliable play and restaurants. Continue to live here next time! !

GGuest UserIt was just okay. The environment and service didn't really live up to the price. Honestly, you could probably look at guesthouses on arrival and then check in, especially if it's the off-season. There are so many guesthouses on Weizhou Island, and it's not that big. Even though they upgraded us to a family suite, I still felt it was pretty average.

GGuest User## Facilities While the facilities are a bit dated and you can see some wear and tear on the decor, the hotel's spotlessly clean environment is a major plus. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, indoor pool, children's play area, gym, and more. For families with children, Kaiyuan's amenities are far superior to Marriott's. They offer free swim rings, complimentary mosquito bite relief, alcohol wipes, eyeglass cleaning pads, and band-aids – a level of detail that's truly impressive. ## Hygiene Guest rooms and public areas are cleaned meticulously, and bath towels are replaced promptly. Overall, the hygiene is excellent. ## Ambiance The lobby is stunning, featuring a modern Chinese aesthetic that's incredibly photogenic – perfect for snapping some great pictures. While not as sprawling as some Sanya resorts, the hotel is compact yet complete. It features a wedding lawn, and you can reach the beach via a short walk from the back entrance. What's more, there's a convenient foot-washing station by the back door for rinsing off sand after a beach stroll. ## Service They offer butler service, with a butler meant to greet guests upon arrival. However, our experience started poorly: when we arrived, our assigned butler was absent, leading to a long wait. We were in the main entrance lobby, but the butler seemed confused about its location, insisting on waiting at the front desk area for check-in. She never came to greet us at the actual entrance lobby, despite our initial phone conversation confirming a 'meet-and-greet' service. This discrepancy from what was promised was frustrating and caused a significant delay. I eventually had to find the butler myself. Even when she finally did assist with check-in, there was no expedited process; it was just like a regular guest checking in. Up to this point, her role felt largely ineffective. It was only *after* check-in that the butler's true value became apparent. She guided us to our room, provided a comprehensive overview of the hotel's facilities, essential check-in information, dining options and timings, beach safety tips, and even local Beihai attractions. Her response to our request for extra children's toiletries was impressively swift. Kudos to Butler Liu Fang for her subsequent excellent service! ## Lobby Bar Buffet Afternoon Tea The lobby bar offers a daily buffet afternoon tea. No reservations are needed; you can simply drop in anytime. ## Travel Photography Service (1 session) We also tried the travel photography service, and the results were quite good! Although two photos were complimentary, the quality was so exceptional that we ended up splurging 698 RMB on 13 retouched photos, with all digital negatives included. ## Breakfast Breakfast was extensive, featuring a delightful mix of Chinese and Western dishes. They also offered local Beihai specialties like shrimp cakes, *shuihe* (a local pastry), and *juanfen* (rice noodle rolls). The highlight for us was the boiled rice noodles, which were incredibly tasty, and you could add as many condiments and toppings as you liked.

CCherishchenThere are no restaurants around the location of the farm. If you don’t have a small electric donkey, you will really have to walk... It is divided into two areas, the upper and lower areas. Eat in the lower area... The walk is about 100 meters, which is downhill. The amount of breakfast is a bit small... there is no milk. , no coffee...the super large bathtub is not particularly clean...the water needs to be filled 1 hour in advance...the butler's service is still very good~the quality of the slippers needs to be improved

AAnonymous UserPuSu is my favorite hotel. Its design style, services, and selection of facilities and supplies have already ranked it first in my heart. If it weren't for the fact that the Banyan Tree opposite was under renovation and there was always noise, and if it weren't for the fact that you could see the renovation scenery opposite from the window from time to time, blocking the sea view, then his house would really be perfect. The breakfast dishes are very fresh, although there are not many choices but they are satisfying enough. The temperature of the swimming pool is OK, but it is too shallow and not suitable for real swimming. It is still OK for small children to play in the water. The disadvantage is that although it is close to the beach, there are too few supporting catering businesses. If you go to Nanwan Street to take a taxi, it will cost 100 yuan for a round trip. If you are not familiar with the road, it is not recommended to ride an electric donkey. There are no signs on the road and the road conditions are dangerous at night. The price of eating in the hotel is a bit expensive. If you go to Nanwan Street, I suggest you go to the second store of Xiaoshiguang. I recommend the spicy and sour potato shreds and seafood fried rice with squid rings, and choose the spicy one. I think the taste of this restaurant is a hundred levels higher than that of the whole Weizhou Island. The chef's level is very good, but with the contrast of his peers, he immediately stands out! If you rent a sightseeing car, I heard from the driver that the cheapest one can be 150 a day. The official price of the Xinyi on the boat is 200 a day. This is actually very cost-effective. Not only can you visit the five major attractions, but it also includes dinner pick-up. Anyway, it is much better than calling a car for a round trip for a meal for 100 yuan. If you can't make an official appointment for whale watching, you can contact the hotel front desk. The service is connected through WeChat, with both manual and robot service. I think it's very good and all requirements can be met. The recommended room type is 502 of Pu II, which has a very good value for money and is on a high floor, so the hot spring pool is directly located at the side of the sea view. Finally, I would like to praise the souvenirs from Pusu, they are very high quality! I hope it gets better and better. Please convince Xiao Shiguang to open three stores near your home. Although I don’t want to say that Weizhou Island is a food desert, the other restaurants are really terrible...

GGuest UserWeizhou Island Giant Whale Hotel | Absolutely Divine! This is what an island vacation should be like. Initially, my first day on Weizhou Island was a huge disappointment! The weather was gloomy, and the seawater wasn't as clear as I'd imagined. Other islands I've visited before were much more enjoyable than this one. I complained the whole way, my mood hit rock bottom, and I even thought this trip was going to be a disaster. That is, until I checked into the Giant Whale Hotel – I was instantly and thoroughly cured, feeling like all the previous frustrations were worth it! I have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team! From the moment we arrived on the island, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, and there was a dedicated transfer car waiting for us at the pier, so we didn't have to squeeze into crowded transport or figure out directions ourselves. They handled our luggage and check-in perfectly. Any questions we had for the concierge were answered instantly, with patience and enthusiasm. They also provided super practical travel tips, which was much better than just wandering around on our own. What touched us most was that during check-in, the concierge learned it was my wife's and my wedding anniversary, and they upgraded our room type for free! The new room had an absolutely stunning view; the entire floor-to-ceiling window framed the seascape like a painting. The 65sqm space was spacious and comfortable, and the sea-view bathtub by the window was incredibly romantic. Soaking in the bath while looking at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. The details in the room were also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, SMEG kettle, and capsule coffee machine were all available, and the mini-bar was stocked with snacks. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The hotel environment is truly spectacular; every photo turned out amazing! The mirrored infinity pool blends perfectly with the sea level, and at sunset, the entire pool turns orange, making for incredible photos. The cliffside garden is surrounded by greenery, with a gentle sea breeze, which is incredibly pleasant and not crowded at all – so quiet and perfect for a vacation. There's also a professional photographer who helps guests take pictures for free, finding the most beautiful spots, and the original photos look great straight out of the camera. Now I genuinely feel that the Giant Whale Hotel is the best on Weizhou Island! The service is incredibly thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the stay is comfortable, elevating our entire trip experience to the highest level. If you want a comfortable stay and great photos on Weizhou Island, you must choose this place. It's definitely not a disappointment, and I'll stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThanks to Trip.com and the hotel for upgrading my room! The layout of the sea view room was a bit awkward; the hallway faced the sea directly, while the room had an oblique view. Perhaps because it's the only five-star hotel on the island, and newly opened during the peak Chinese New Year season, there were a lot of guests, and the hotel seemed a bit inexperienced. Check-in took a long time, and housekeeping struggled to keep up. For a hotel that's only been open for just over a month, this is understandable. Now, about the hotel service – it was truly exceptional. I got injured on my first day, and the hotel's wheelchair was my companion for four whole days. On the last day, right before boarding the ship, the hotel even arranged a special car transfer, and the wheelchair stayed with me until I cleared security and was dropped off at the pier by their thoughtful car. I have to give the hotel a huge thumbs up! The hotel also partners with a car rental company. While their prices are higher, they're the only company on the island that offers insurance for electric scooters. On my first day, I rented an electric scooter and, less than 4 hours later, I crashed it due to my own error. I figured I'd have to pay for the damage. Instead, the rental company owner immediately drove me to the island's hospital and accompanied me. While waiting, they even refunded my entire deposit without question, and said if my injuries were serious, I could claim insurance. Despite some unfortunate incidents during my Weizhou Island trip, I will definitely be back! And next time, I'll still choose Angsana!
