Thank you for an amazing stay! They upgraded our room for free, and the butler service was incredibly responsive, truly the 'Haidilao' of hotels when it comes to service. The experience was fantastic! The hotel views are absolutely stunning; you step right out to the ocean, and every picture you take looks like it's from a magazine. They proactively contact you the night before to discuss your breakfast preferences, and the afternoon tea desserts are excellent, as is the goodnight stew. Our room also had a minibar with complimentary water, drinks, and snacks. I admit I was a bit worried at first after seeing some negative reviews about service on Weizhou Island [facepalm emoji]! But they helped us with our luggage throughout our stay and accommodated all our requests, not to mention the thoughtful greetings every time we saw them. We'll definitely be back just for this emotional value! Last night, I was almost moved to tears when the food delivery driver couldn't find our location. The kind gentleman with glasses patiently gave directions and then, in the blink of an eye, sprinted out to help me get our meal. This place deserves five stars – absolutely flawless, even exceeding expectations! 1. Even before check-in, the butler created a chat group. My requests were met with almost instant replies, and any questions could be addressed directly in the group. 2. At the pier, someone was waiting with a sign to pick us up. Upon arrival, staff helped with luggage and handled the check-in process. 3. Right after entering, we received a welcome kit with an umbrella, mosquito repellent bracelet, a mini-fan, and aloe vera gel – incredibly practical given the island's strong sun and numerous mosquitoes. 4. Our room had a private pool/plunge pool, and stepping outside led to a larger pool that directly connected to the sea. Relaxing in the pool while watching the ocean was so therapeutic. 5. The service was perfectly balanced – not intrusive, but always responsive to our needs. The butler was available 24/7, the poolside water was always full, and towels were replaced promptly. 6. Breakfast could be ordered in advance via phone and was delivered to the room without limit. The rice noodles and ice cream toast were especially delicious. 7. Dinner reservations could be made in advance. We happened to catch a breathtaking 'fire cloud' sunset that evening. 8. When my slippers didn't fit, the butler immediately brought new ones. Attention to detail was impeccable. 9. Upon entering the room, the butler thoroughly explained how all switches and facilities worked – very responsible. 10. I highly recommend all three meals. They were tastier than the popular spots on the island, and you could choose to have them delivered to your room or dine in the restaurant. Prices were also reasonable. Summary: The service was thoughtful but not annoying, the facilities were comfortable, the views were unbeatable, and the dining was a major plus. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Weizhou Island.

Stayed for four days and three nights. Although Tiangong is not beautiful, the intimate service of the hotel and the housekeeper Xiao Zhao is definitely the ceiling of the industry. First, the island is free to use a car for sightseeing. Where to go, you can contact the housekeeper to set off, eliminating the trouble of renting a car on the island. Second, after buying in the seafood market and then processing at the hotel, not only the processing taste is top-notch, but also the amazing display! Every dish is not only delicious but also beautiful, this detail is really amazing! ! Third, every day breakfast is different, just go to the table and wait, it is also very hard. Butler contacted you even before u board the island. Send all the information you need beforehand. Helping you with the luggage, service is excellent. Room view is marvelous also, direct seaview with nice interior design. Private swimming water is warm. Cleaning Auntie is polite and attentive. We never attend the free afternoon tea, staff are nice enough to send a set to our room volunteerlily. Staff even call us to pass us gifts when we check out early without informatinh Butler. A very wonderful and pleasant stay. Definitely will come back again.

The farm has a very relaxing atmosphere and is not far from the seaside. The housekeeper will proactively contact you the day before check-in to understand the details of the itinerary and establish a service group. After arriving at the port, a dedicated person will pick you up and deliver you to the farm. After knowing the accommodation preference, we will promptly assist in adding extra beds. After check-in, we will introduce the distribution and strategy of Weizhou Island attractions in a clear and concise way. With the assistance of the staff, we rented an electric car, which is convenient for going anywhere around the island. Before returning, the stewards took the initiative to confirm the flight information and arrange for delivery to the station, and promptly reminded us that the ship was temporarily suspended to avoid unnecessary trouble. Give your children a souvenir before leaving the store, which is thoughtful and thoughtful.

The hotel is quite new and the decoration is very beautiful. When I checked in, the front desk lady introduced the tourist attractions on the island and gave the island map. The hardware facilities are also good and the paper quality is good. The drinks cabinet on the first floor of the hotel can be picked up by yourself and there are welcome fruits. There is a car rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. Booked for two nights, the next day back to the room card can not be opened, go to the front desk to authorize, this is not scientific, or you can remind the guests in advance, go back to the room before the authorization.

Weizhou Island Giant Whale Hotel | Absolutely Divine! This is what an island vacation should be like. Initially, my first day on Weizhou Island was a huge disappointment! The weather was gloomy, and the seawater wasn't as clear as I'd imagined. Other islands I've visited before were much more enjoyable than this one. I complained the whole way, my mood hit rock bottom, and I even thought this trip was going to be a disaster. That is, until I checked into the Giant Whale Hotel – I was instantly and thoroughly cured, feeling like all the previous frustrations were worth it! I have to give a huge shout-out to the concierge team! From the moment we arrived on the island, we didn't have to worry about a thing. They contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, and there was a dedicated transfer car waiting for us at the pier, so we didn't have to squeeze into crowded transport or figure out directions ourselves. They handled our luggage and check-in perfectly. Any questions we had for the concierge were answered instantly, with patience and enthusiasm. They also provided super practical travel tips, which was much better than just wandering around on our own. What touched us most was that during check-in, the concierge learned it was my wife's and my wedding anniversary, and they upgraded our room type for free! The new room had an absolutely stunning view; the entire floor-to-ceiling window framed the seascape like a painting. The 65sqm space was spacious and comfortable, and the sea-view bathtub by the window was incredibly romantic. Soaking in the bath while looking at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. The details in the room were also very thoughtful: a Dyson hairdryer, SMEG kettle, and capsule coffee machine were all available, and the mini-bar was stocked with snacks. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The hotel environment is truly spectacular; every photo turned out amazing! The mirrored infinity pool blends perfectly with the sea level, and at sunset, the entire pool turns orange, making for incredible photos. The cliffside garden is surrounded by greenery, with a gentle sea breeze, which is incredibly pleasant and not crowded at all – so quiet and perfect for a vacation. There's also a professional photographer who helps guests take pictures for free, finding the most beautiful spots, and the original photos look great straight out of the camera. Now I genuinely feel that the Giant Whale Hotel is the best on Weizhou Island! The service is incredibly thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the stay is comfortable, elevating our entire trip experience to the highest level. If you want a comfortable stay and great photos on Weizhou Island, you must choose this place. It's definitely not a disappointment, and I'll stay here again next time!

Traveling solo, I paid an additional 200+ RMB on-site for a two-night stay in a sea-view suite. Here's my comprehensive review of the experience. In terms of details, I've stayed in many 'light luxury' and luxury B&Bs and hotels, and this five-star experience was by far the worst. On the first day, I had to wait over an hour for the room to be ready after checking in. Then, the cleaning details were lacking. The very first night I mentioned the refrigerator had a strong, unpleasant durian-like odor. Even after two days of regular cleaning before I checked out on the third day, the fridge still smelled. This really ruined my desire to open it for a cold drink on such a hot day. As a woman, I also wanted to store my face masks inside, and every time I opened it, I was hit with the stench. Second, it's been a long time since I stayed at a resort hotel with a 12 PM checkout time. For 700+ RMB a day, I've stayed at 300 RMB hotels that offer checkout after 2 PM. I was looking for a relaxing vacation and wanted to get some proper rest, but instead, I had to rush to pack up before noon. Third, the overall surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, but that's due to its geographical advantage, not the hotel's service. For the same price, I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again. I also reported the hygiene issue to the front desk. On the first day, I asked for a deodorizer or activated carbon, but the problem was never resolved even by the time I left on the third day. Moreover, the hotel's pool is beautiful but only good for photos, not for actual swimming. With a depth of 1.2 meters, it's only suitable for children to splash around, not for adults to swim properly. The appliances in the hotel suite are also incredibly outdated. The hairdryer is very retro, an old-fashioned model with a coiled cord. It's heavy and tiring to hold, takes ages to dry hair, and burns your scalp.

Thanks to Trip.com and the hotel for upgrading my room! The layout of the sea view room was a bit awkward; the hallway faced the sea directly, while the room had an oblique view. Perhaps because it's the only five-star hotel on the island, and newly opened during the peak Chinese New Year season, there were a lot of guests, and the hotel seemed a bit inexperienced. Check-in took a long time, and housekeeping struggled to keep up. For a hotel that's only been open for just over a month, this is understandable. Now, about the hotel service – it was truly exceptional. I got injured on my first day, and the hotel's wheelchair was my companion for four whole days. On the last day, right before boarding the ship, the hotel even arranged a special car transfer, and the wheelchair stayed with me until I cleared security and was dropped off at the pier by their thoughtful car. I have to give the hotel a huge thumbs up! The hotel also partners with a car rental company. While their prices are higher, they're the only company on the island that offers insurance for electric scooters. On my first day, I rented an electric scooter and, less than 4 hours later, I crashed it due to my own error. I figured I'd have to pay for the damage. Instead, the rental company owner immediately drove me to the island's hospital and accompanied me. While waiting, they even refunded my entire deposit without question, and said if my injuries were serious, I could claim insurance. Despite some unfortunate incidents during my Weizhou Island trip, I will definitely be back! And next time, I'll still choose Angsana!
