Best Hotels in Steinsfeld, Germany

The hotel was great! Comfy bed, big room and great breakfast. However, I had 3 interactions with the front desk and all were not up to standard. The first was when I arrived and I was told breakfast was not included and when I asked again, the receptionist was simply not pleasant and with little patience. The 2nd was when I asked for extra towels as I needed them for my morning workout, they never came. The last took the cake. I was checking out and the receptionist gave me a pen from a bowl of pens, asking me to sign the credit card receipt. I did as was told and put back the pen. She looked at me, removed the pen said that’s perfect, now I have to sanitize all the pens! Completely rude and uncalled for!

We were a family of three traveling to Germany for the first time. We pulled up to this quaint hotel and fell in love instantly. The owner, a gentleman, was extremely nice in greeting us. For some reason the hotel did not have our reservation(booking company's fault-Not trip advisor by the way) and they were all booked (our reservation was for three nights). We were devestated to say the least as we had no idea where to go and were foreigners. There was no need to panic. The nice owner offered to bring us around the corner to a relative's hotel where he made sure we were set up for the night and taken care of. The next day we were brought back to the Gasthof Bezold and remained there for the other two nights. He went out of his way to make sure we were ok and well taken care of. He and his relatives treated us like family and we were so thankful. Best time ever! Loved both places and would definitley stay here the next time we visit. We had a room in the back section and were so happy. The area was roomy and the bathrooms big. The beds were comfortable and the place so pretty and quaint. Breakfast was awesome as well. Close to everything and a reasonable price. It will be our home away from home anytime we go back to that area.

Foreign hotels are like that, the same price can not be compared with the domestic, one is the room is small, the room service is Samsung, chain fast grade, in addition to more greetings, there is breakfast, when you go abroad, you can eat your stomach with your eyes closed. It is impossible to have your domestic standards and tastes!

The hotel is right next to the old town entrance, breakfast is good, dinner is delicious

Clean, safe and friendly inn that is very close to the medieval city, but a little less expensive than many of the hotels located inside the Rothenburg town walls. Also provides free and easy to access parking for guests onsite. The innkeepers are incredibly friendly hosts, full of positive energy. The inn itself is nicely decorated, but it's rather basic -- if you're looking for a special romantic inn, this may not be it. But if you want a nice, clean convenient place to stay, easy to reach the town by car or foot, this is a great choice.

Great location just by the Roman wall. Really easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was a continental style but they offered eggs as well. Definitely a good choice to explore the wonderful town of Rothenberg.

The hotel is in a small town, the environment is super good, some rooms can see the Neuschwanstein Castle from the window. The breakfast is also rich. There is no elevator, so you have to go up and down the stairs with your suitcase.

The room was spacious and just fine for our needs. Requested a room with A/C and was not disappointed. The desk staff were accommodating and friendly. The main gentleman seating people for dinner could have been a lot more friendlier. He was rather abrupt and several people wanted to sit in front of the hotel to enjoy their meal. He simply pointed to the Bier Garden with no explanation. The hotel is kind of funky with rooms situated on different levels and what seemed to be across connecting buildings. Many people were looking for they rooms and Mom and I got turned around more than once. The lift only went to one floor so we walked down one flight to walk across the building To catch the lift, then around a corner and up some steps back to the other building. I thought it was fun and gave the place old world charm.

Because we are expected to arrive at the store (11 o’clock in the evening), please inform the customer service of Ctrip. After the customer service said, the store asked us to call directly. After we called, he told us how to check in. This is a clean, quiet hotel, about 10 minutes (foot) from the city centre. The hotel offers breakfast with vegan optionsan, otherwise no restaurant on the ground. Other facilities such as fitness rooms, a minibar, washing service, or similar have not been provided. Sometimes we ask strange questions, such as, “You are alone; why do you want a Kingsize bed?” or “You stay with us two nights. Do you want us to clean the room in this way?” The latter is certainly a remainder of the Covid time, but at €130/Nacht I find it obvious that I can choose the type of bed without having to justify the choice. In addition, I find that the daily cleaning of the room automatically belongs to one of the most price-intensive hotels in the city. However, people in the hotel were nice and premature. There are very few (4-5) hotel own parking places and they were always occupied during my stay. But this is no problem at all, because you can park easily and safely everywhere on the street.
