"Their service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest.
We didnāt get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didnāt expect to see so many čč± still at the end of May)
As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isnāt really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles.
Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room.
Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to ēę³é¦ and there is also a discount.
Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotelās hospitalityāŗļø"

"Choosing Yan Yun Hotel was absolutely the best decision for my trip to Dali. My only regret is that I only booked one night and had to leave so soon. The environment here is absolutely stunning, and the service is top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea set. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They also provide electric shuttle service for getting in and out. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Dali!"

WWangtiaotiaoSo glad we booked this place instead of one of those family-friendly B&Bs in the village. The facilities are so much better! We even got a free upgrade to the 'Cloud' room. Waking up to such a stunning view every day was a treat, and soaking in the large bathtub while enjoying the scenery was incredibly relaxing! The location is also fantastic ā much quieter than S Bay. We could easily stroll around or rent an electric scooter downstairs, and it's super close to Yasheng Coffee. The breakfast spread was generous. They also have a kids' room with building blocks, a mini slide, and picture books, which was perfect for our two-year-old; he didn't want to leave. Plus, even when it rained, we could still have fun by the pool.

The room facilities are new and very clean. Besides a capsule coffee machine, there's also an instant hot water dispenser, which is super convenient. š The gym and pool both offer sea views.

The front desk service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; I truly felt at home, exceeding my expectations.

GGuest UserOn my first day in Dali, I checked into the Yueshanhai Hotel, nestled in the mountains near the ancient city. With a gentle drizzle and fresh air, a stroll through the garden was utterly delightful.
The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, cafe, bar, book bar, and even billiards. On the third floor of Building 1, you'll find the Akashima Seaview Bar and the Seaview Book Bar, offering stunning views of the mountains and Erhai Lake. Don't forget to wake up early to catch the sunrise!
The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding. The Herbal toiletries and bathtub for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring are absolutely wonderful!
Breakfast, served on the first floor of Building 2 at the Baini Restaurant, offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles with braised pork and Weishan stewed pork are incredibly fragrant and delicious!

XxQueenWarm Light by Erhai Lake
Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts.
Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tendernessāa beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along?
We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had.
The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose teaāa touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word.
Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter.
Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly touched me. As an architect/interior designer, hotel design, aesthetics, and facilities have always been my top criteria when traveling. I've stayed in many hotels both domestically and internationally. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to book the newly built room type at Zuodu; the older section was just okay in terms of comfort. If you have the option, I definitely recommend choosing the new room types. The hotel is located right on the scenic coastal road. Its somewhat remote location makes it even quieter compared to S Bay, yet the surrounding scenery is still fantastic. What really made me want to check in here was their service. First, I chose two room types, and both included breakfast, plus daily afternoon tea options. The breakfast was quite rich, served buffet style, with Western, Cantonese, and rice noodle options. The restaurant environment is also excellent, with a great ambiance for photos both indoors and outdoors. Honestly, I've been to Dali many times, and hotels in this price range rarely offer breakfast, let alone afternoon tea. A cup of coffee costs 30-40 yuan, and you can order two per room, along with fruit and flower cakes. Besides the food, the hotel's other thoughtful services were also very impressive. This included shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and to and from the airport (we were a group of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, and the hotel provided a complimentary 7-seater shuttle from Longkan Pier, and the airport drop-off price was also upgraded from a 5-seater to a 7-seater for free). Bottled water in the hotel is unlimited and self-service. Instant coffee, tea bags, and steam eye masks are provided daily in the room, and none of them are off-brands. In the public restrooms, they thoughtfully provide sanitary pads and mouthwash, both of which are good brands. In short, whatever you requested, the front desk always responded and resolved it immediately. Upon checkout, they even gave us Pu'er tea cakes as a souvenir. I can truly say their service was exceptional. I will definitely choose Zuodu again next time I come to Dali.

GGuest UserThe B&B I stayed in during my trip to Dali was truly a delightful experience! The moment we opened the door, the two rows of purple Clivia orchids were breathtakingly beautiful. The courtyard room we booked was even more charming, private, and cozy. The B&B is located in a prime neighborhood with clear signage and a luxurious feel. The B&B is conveniently located, making it easy to reach Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, and the city center, especially without lugging luggage. There are also many authentic local restaurants nearby. This stay was a perfect experience, with excellent value for money. The service from the host was excellent, and the breakfast made by the aunt was delicious.

JJunyuliuaArrived in Dali and instantly felt my mood lift upon checking into this hotel. The environment is absolutely wonderful, and opening the window reveals stunning views of Erhai Lake. The room is very spacious and even has an enormous private pool, though unfortunately, I couldn't swim due to a cold. The afternoon tea was a thoughtful touch, extended until 8:30 PM, and the toiletries were all very high-end.

Each room has its own private courtyard, and opening the window reveals the sparkling Erhai Lake ā it's the ultimate vacation spot.

The whole-house smart system is super convenient. With Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures, Dyson hairdryers, and imported mattresses, the quality is top-tier. All the hotel facilities are very new.
The public areas include a restaurant, music bar, and afternoon tea. You could easily spend an entire day here and not get bored.
š§¼ **Impeccable Hygiene**
The room is spotless. The linens are soft and gentle on the skin, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is super clean. Daily cleaning is meticulous; even the corners are well-maintained, so even germaphobes can rest easy. Staying here is excellent value for money.

They offer 24-hour butler service, covering everything from transfers and luggage to itinerary planning. The complimentary mini-bar and afternoon tea are lovely touches that show their attention to detail.

TTJ-TimI had an absolutely satisfying stay at Hilton Dali Resort & Spa and highly recommend this property.
Perched halfway up Cangshan Mountain, the hotel is conveniently situated near Jizhao Nunnery for Cangshan hiking trips, and Dali Ancient Town is a short affordable Didi ride away with abundant available cars, making transportation effortless. Our high-floor room offered stunning panoramic views of Erhai Lake from the private balcony.
The room is exceptionally spacious with complete amenities; the bathroom is neatly designed with wet-dry separation. The daily breakfast buffet features an extensive selection of dishes covering diverse tastes.
Special praise goes to lobby manager Herman. We encountered a small friction during pre-arrival communication, which was properly resolved thanks to Hermanās coordination. He also helped secure a complimentary room upgrade for us in advance. Throughout our stay, Herman and Beata consistently provided attentive help: collecting our takeout, answering all travel questions patiently, and he even took the initiative to apply for a late check-out for us. His thoughtful and efficient service greatly improved our whole trip.
With superb location, wonderful facilities and warm personalised service, it was a flawless hotel experience, and I will definitely book here again on my next visit to Dali.
