Hotel Adamo

Tbilisi|0.6km from "ჯურასსიქ პარკ"
We stayed at this hotel from March 18, 2024 until March 25, 2024. While the hotel’s location nestled in the foothills offers picturesque views, it also posed challenges for elderly guests who found it difficult to navigate the terrain. Beyond this, there are additional aspects I’d like to highlight: Negative Points: 1. Room Booking Discrepancy: Our original booking was for a twin bedroom for 7 nights, but upon arrival, we were given a tiny double bedroom. When I requested a change, the response was disappointing: ”As you are staying for 7 nights, we can't do anything. If it were a shorter stay, we could definitely change your room.” This meant we had to endure the discomfort for the entire duration of our stay. 2. Breakfast Quality: The breakfast experience was way below average. The selection was very limited, and the quality left much to be desired. The most disappointing aspect was the stale bread. It's disheartening to encounter such poor bread quality in a hotel located in a region known for its wine, cheese, and bread. Over the last 3 days, I had to buy fresh bread from a nearby bakery and took it to the restaurant. Even though the restaurant lady manager was trying hard to make it a better experience but it seemed to be out of her hands. 3. Butter Shortage: Over the last 3 days of our stay, the breakfast items dwindled further. There was a noticeable scarcity of fruits, and to our surprise, they ran out of butter. When we inquired about it, the response was that butter was no longer available. This lack of basic amenities was quite frustrating. Positive Points: 1. Cleanliness: On a positive note, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The cleaning staff worked diligently throughout the day to maintain a hygienic environment. 2. Helpful Receptionist: The lady at the reception, with red highlights in her hair, was truly helpful. Her assistance made our stay more pleasant. 3. Staff Friendliness: From what I observed, the staff members were generally helpful. However, it seems that the high-level management might need improvement. Overall, while the cleanliness and helpfulness of some staff members were commendable, the negative aspects significantly impacted our experience at the Adamo Hotel and I don't believe they deserve 4 stars. Hopefully, the management can address these issues to enhance future guests' stays.

It was a good hotel overall because it was close to the main parts of the city that we wanted to visit. We could reach librity Square within a 10 to 15-minute walk, and there were also other beautiful places such as bars and restaurants nearby, which were really good! On the other hand, the hotel staff were very kind and responsible. Unlike the locals, they understood English well, so we could communicate with them. However, I noticed some weaknesses that seem to be common in Georgia when traveling. Firstly, the hotel breakfast was not great, and you couldn't even find a basic omelette that is served worldwide. On the other hand, the hotel had a good and hot shower, but there was a leakage issue from the lower part of the shower, and the bathroom floor in the rooms after every shower would get wet. This problem seemed to be present in other rooms as well. Overall, it was a good trip, and having Michel (the man working at the reception) and his hospitality, along with his friends, made it even better.

Starting with the staff here are the rudest people I’ve ever met (myself belongs to the same industry and having an exposure to different culture and people the staff here are completely inhospitable),unhelpful at everytime. The amenities that they claim on websites are misleading.. upon checkin on 20th July the receptionist briefed about the hotel adding that the pool was under construction however we could use the other block’s pool which belong the the same hotel, on approaching the same I was redirected to another building to use the pool and let me add which was accessible if you walk down the streets, cannot imagine myself or anyone walking down the streets to use a pool which was supposed to be a part of the same hotel.. coming next they will not provide you any complimentary water( which they claim to be complimentary) the receptionist refused to refill water more than 1 bottle per person in a day but she was happy to sell the same water which is supposed to be complimentary and a basic necessity..there are no room service at all, we asked the receptionist to renew our bath amenities on the second day to which we received a reply saying “ I cannot come, you need to come to reception and get them”.. being entitled of complimentary refreshments, we never used any, never asked for Housekeeping because when we asked to do so no one turned up since our second day of stay but we let it go what’s upsetting is that the staff is ready let you die thirsty even in the middle of the night and push you to buy water that’s supposed to be complimentary..the staffs treated us as if we were staying for free and we were under their favor at all times .never recommending this hotel or any hotel that’s under their chain..imagine yourself dealing all this after a long tiring day on a vacation

The hotel is located in one of the usual downside roads. The main street Rustaveli is not five minutes walking distance. Also the seamless tram can be walked in 15 minutes. In the nearby area you can find restaurants, cafes, small shops and the Metro Station. The small hotel itself is freshly renovated and very friendly. All our four booked rooms were individually and lovely designed, large enough and clean. Minibar, mineral water, water cooker with tea and coffee were available. In the indoor there was a big table on a small terrace. The owner was there around the clock, always friendly and helpful. She offered an excellent breakfast for about 8 euros at the time of the wish, with many of her own and self-made products. There were rhetoric, cooked egg, sauce or bullets, alternating self-made salads, sauce, cheese, cereals, for example honey and various marmelades, fruit and vegetables, hearty creations in the teigmantel, cakes, muffins, yoghurt variations. The owner served tea or coffee personally. Just excellent. We felt very well in the hotel and would book it again.

A beautiful unforgettable view from a spacious balcony to the whole city, a clean newest hotel that takes account of all traveller requests. Good delicious breakfast from quality home products. A comfortable bed with quality clothes, full silence at night, so perfectly I haven't slept anywhere. The host of the hotel Irakli will help with the advice that to see where to eat, what wine to try, the most pleasant host!!! Very enjoyed! I will definitely come here again!

After long consideration, I opted for this hotel, despite the scarce reviews I could find; turned out to be a good gamble! I stayed there during a weekend trip to the capital of Georgia, in a room with view. The location isn't ideal for walkers as the hotel is located on the hill side, but it's close to the old city centre where the action is. The rooms are newly renovated, it would seem, and I must point out as the only negative point that there is a drainage problem in the showers. I call this a stretch because everything else in my stay was great! The view is superb, the rooms are new, bed is comfy and hot, and the breakfast (included, 8-11am) offers a fair variety on rotation. Staff is quite attentive to guest, a marking trait of the Georgian hospitality. I hope I can make it back to Tbilisi, and this hotel in particular. (Note: the hotel is also known under the name Vista hotel, and is a 10minute walk uphill from the nearest bus stop.)
