The hotel should be old and the rooms should have been renovated. The rooms are not big and the lights are not bright. There are no slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, but there are hot water bottles and cups. The bed is high, the bed is small, and the sound insulation is not good. The bathroom is relatively large. The lobby is antique and tasteful, and the hotel's front desk and bar are connected together, which is also unique.
Every time you book a room on Ctrip, there are “surprises” (see Figure 6 for details)

Its nice, i just wish they have mini frig that has some bottled water in. Walls around aren’t thick enough to cancel out any noises, so we hear everyone that pass by the hallway and the person next rooms.

Great little gem. This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay for a hockey game. Small rooms which are expected from a 1905 built hotel. Beds were comfy, all new linens & towels. Recent renovations gave it a great feel. Very nice bar & restaurant. Inexpensive specialty coffees were an added bonus in the morning. Hotel staff were friendly & very helpful. Great Mediterranean style breakfast at affordable pricing for downtown Toronto. Offsite parking next door was $21 when purchased through the hotel website. I will definitely be back.

This is an old hotel with some poorly done renovations . The windows are not properly installed or insulated and you can feel the draft specially in the bathroom. Rooms are small without closet or any place to put clothes. I guess you get what you pay for.

The fact that it is so clean. The entire building smelt clean,fresh and smoke free. The staff was very friendly and there to help with any questions i had. The building was nostalgic. I would definitely return to use thier facilities again. I highly recommend The Victoria.

Instead of a coffee maker, this property had a very modern kettle that you could make instant coffee or tea with.
The whole hotel has a boutique feel, and the room was wonderful and close to anything you would want to experience in downtown Toronto! The Hockey Hall of Fame is steps away!

Booked a deluxe room with 2 queen beds months before for this trip, got offered 2 rooms on different floors on arrival instead because they overbooked. Told them this was not what we originally booked and paid for, and thankfully the front desk managed to check us in to the actual room we originally booked. Staff we polite enough, but they should keep an eye on their booking system to avoid this unecessary inconvenience. Overall stay was ok. Location was close the downtown core.
