Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel

Having done the rounds of luxury and boutique hotels, I can safely say that true luxury is more about what cannot be bought. The beautiful hotel, decor, and surroundings are a given and Canne Bianche delivers in spades. Excellent food, drinks and ambience, all big ticks. However, this is not sufficient to create lasting memories. What creates lasting memories, is the commi**ent, passion, care and genuine welcome the staff extend. This can be trained into people and acted out, but it is only where people actually care, because they are invested, does it feel real. Canne Bianche staff deliver this in spade. Their smiles and genuine care shine through. Any glitch is swiftly dealt with, with transparent efficiency. They prompt all your needs and do so with true care. The little touches also make this place special, to name a few: the home made cookies at turndown, and the goodie bag at departure. These mark the place out beyond the five star competitors in my view. I cannot recommend it sufficiently. Well down.

The 6 night stay my wife and I had was one we will not soon forget. The staff are genuinely friendly, so very helpful and the attention to detail paid by everyone everywhere is amazing. The grounds are beautiful, especially the pool. Cabanas and lounge chairs galore; despite a full occupancy, it never felt crowded. All the pictures and videos I have seen do not do the hotel justice. A small billing issue at check out was addressed quickly and graciously. Kudos to management and the entire team. We could go on and on. This place is absolutely worth every cent.

This hotel, and more specifically the staff, is impeccable. From the time we were met at the door and checked in by Patrice and having one of the most relaxing "check-ins" we've ever experienced to the final wave as we, sadly, left we had an incredible experience. As other reviews have stated the staff truly make this place. Of note were Patrice, Guiseppe, Gildare, Adrienne and Georgia (apologies for spellings!) who were so kind with their knowledge and interest in what we wanted to do; where we wanted to go; what we wanted to eat and the wine's we wanted to accompany were all provided with such attention we were made to felt very cared for and looked after. The hotel itself is beautifully set out and decorated. We had breakfast every morning and there was a great selection of continental options; smaller cooked breakfast options and freshly made eggs to your request. Service at this time was also excellent. There was always someone at the pool to assist, if required, with plenty of beds and towels available. The water was COLD! But with the season only just starting and temperatures not quite hitting mid-20's I'd like to hope that will change for later in summer. Evenings were spent in the lounges and the restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and the attention of the staff as and when we needed it. There are so many "little" touches that add up to the experience, I don't want to spoil them but, honestly, they only add to the beauty of this place. We did walk into Torre Canne which took us approx 25mins where there was a nice promenade, plenty of seafood restaurants a couple of cafe bars, shops and access to the beach. But, quite honestly, the atmosphere of the hotel drew us back and we were more than happy to eat, drink and relax at Canne Bianche for our full 5 days.

Not much more to add to all the kudos already posted, other than to echo that the staff is really what makes this place so special. Oh, and by far the best value we've experienced in a very long time. They are very transparent about the beach not being set up with chairs, etc, but we did walk most mornings and it was delightful on the Adriatic. The pool area is large, so when we were out there, we did not feel it was crowded as some can.

Incredible. This hotel is unbelievable. The staff were so friendly welcoming you back every evening and every morning with a smile. The breakfast was superb with local ingredients and eggs made to order. The rooms were spotless and cleaned twice a day and the little touch of leaving out your slippers at turndown to the little treats left in your room in the evening. We ate in the restaurant 2 evenings and it was delicious. The pool area is beautiful and the staff there were also amazing. We stayed a week and will defonitley go back again next year. puro lusso

Probably the nicest experience we have ever had at a hotel. The building and rooms are first class, and our view of the Adriatic was incredible. However, what made the stay so special was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They were absolutely A+. Breakfasts and dinners in the hotel were outstanding. When we come back to the east coast of Italy, this is the only place we will stay. Bravo Canne Bianche!

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend to explore Puglia and had an amazing experience. The hotel is perfectly located geographically in the centre of the region with all of the places to visit being a convenient drive. Also, the hotel opens out on to a very clean and beautiful beach. A real plus compared to the other five star hotels in the region. Facilities are excellent, food is delicious and the rooms have a relaxed luxury vibe. The boutique selling lovely linen clothes and other well-curated items is a plus. But the real star at this property is the staff. We stay at many hotels and I think here they strike the perfect balance of care, attention, friendliness and helpfulness. Their local knowledge is exceptional. Don’t plan your trip beforehand, just ask the staff once you arrive and they will help with every detail! I couldn’t recommend this property more highly. One of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure to stay at!

Loved this place from the moment the electric gates opened on our 1st day. The welcome was heartfelt and genuine. The room is great, the staff are lovely and the food is fabulous. The pool area is great,shame the water wasn't a little warmer. We found a secret gate at the bottom of the garden that led to the beach and a lovely walk to town. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We stayed for a week in July. The staff are welcoming, speak English & always say good morning when they pass. What we loved: The pool area is excellent. Cabanas, lounge chairs and umbrellas spread out, so you have space from the other guests. We stayed in July for a week and never had an issue getting a spot. Love that there is grass as well as a paved area. The hotel can arrange a hire car. You must do this, it is a necessity to visit Bari, Lecce, Alberobello etc. The ricotta tart / ricotta cheesecake on the breakfast buffet is lovely. The festa that the hotel had on Sunday night for 70 euro a person was nice. You sit at a communal table and the food is served buffet style. The panzerotti and orecchiette were great. They had live music and a man making burrata. Small things that could be improved: At other five star hotels, the gym is open 24/7. We were jet lagged and woke up at 5am. We couldn’t use the gym as it was locked. Two small bottles of water are provided per day. In other hotels we have been given multiple bottles, which meant at Canne Bianche we had to pay for water at the hotel or buy it outside. Two bottles a day aren’t enough. In good news, there is a small shop directly opposite the hotel that opens at 9am, a whole 6 pack of large bottles of water was around 3 euro, which was the cost of one small bottle from the hotel. Other suggestions: Book dinner at Dubonnet, it is an easy walk from the hotel and the food, especially the seafood, is great. There’s not much else around the hotel, so you need to hire a car if you want to get away. Gallipoli (crystal beach) is better than Monopoli and polignano mare. You can hire lounges and umbrellas from the beach club and the beach has sand and beautiful clear water. It had a natural sandbank which meant a great shallow spot of water on the sand, and the other side of the sandbar depose water.
