Breakfast is ok (cafeteria), security issues are feasible. This is also a cooperative student dormitory of three local universities. I am a local international student. It is a well-regulated hotel and suitable for accommodation. Tram 4 at the door goes directly to the city center.

Staff couldn’t do enough and were so helpful - needed more pillows and this was provided no problem. Left luggage for arrive day and leaving day - no problem. Needed a taxi or some information - no problem. Great selection at breakfast and plenty of it. Room was cleaned / beds made / towels etc daily. Close to reliable public transport - tram line 4 got us straight into the centre very easily. Perfect location. Only negatives would be that the beds are super hard so not great on my back. The road outside is very noisy (especially in the mornings) but they do provide ear plugs. Coffee/tea wasn’t replenished during stay. Room was very hot and even through trying could not work out how to cool it down so just opened balcony door for a bit to let air in.

This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.

What an incredible surprise! I booked this hotel as I was attending Eurovision in Turin. Hotels were getting booked up fast and so I booked Hotel Glis without doing much research. I booked a superior double room. Due to a change of plan, I had to change the booking from a double to twin room and contacted the hotel directly to do this, it was not an issue and this was sorted quickly. On arrival, the staff at reception were friendly and so welcoming. Nothing was too much. Every communication I had with reception was helpful, efficient and just really positive. Breakfast was great and of a really good quality. The room was so much nicer than I was expecting - I was expecting the photos on some trip advisor reviews, a bit dated looking (sorry!), but opening the door I was so blown away by the quality and standard of the decor. My dad was worried he wouldn’t be able to make tea/coffee but there was a kettle in the room and a fridge with complimentary water! We also paid for the “mini fridge top up” on two days and got cans of pop, snacks, etc. This was really great. The hotel booked our taxi to the airport on departure day and this arrived with no issues. We encountered several different staff members and they were all so pleasant and so helpful. Our room was cleaned and fresh towers were left every day of our stay - this felt luxury compared to the UK! We were a little concerned about the ease of getting around to/from central Turin to this hotel, as it does feel more geared at the “out of city” business travellers, conference attendees etc., however we paid for a 72 hour bus ticket for €10 each which allowed us to get on as many buses and trams as we wanted for 72 hours, and using the app “CityMapper”, figured out that if we get the 49 and then 8 bus, it was super easy to travel in/out of Turin. It took around 25/30 mins dependent on traffic. Overall, this hotel was the most wonderful surprise and we will definitely return here on our next trip to Turin. Firstly I’ve got to say for the price we paid for a package city break this hotel was a great all round hotel to stay in. We paid £100 pp from BA Holidays for two nights in an executive room including flights so I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be much to be fair but it was lovely. We arrived on the Friday early afternoon and room 611 was ready for us our only complaints are non air conditioning in the hotel so we slept with the window open. No dressing gowns or slippers like the Novotel hotel website states. Plug didn’t fit the bath and when we arrived we checked the mini bar and prices. We put our own two bottles of water in the fridge for when we came back later we had a drink but no our waters had disappeared along with a rogue apple that was already in there. Luckily we had a kettle for coffee (even though Accor hotel states it should have a coffee machine) Putting aside our moans the hotel is clean, furniture is clean, bed is firm with firm pillows I slept quite well both nights. Breakfast is plentiful with loads of choice my favourite were the marmalade filled croissants they were delicious. Staff are helpful and friendly. We will be back and would be happy to stay again if the price is right Thank you for a great stay The hotel is a distance from central Turin but the tram station is up the road make sure you have cash to purchase a ticket from the tobacconists cost 3 euros 60 for 2x 100 minutes tickets just tap on and tap off when leaving. Taxis and Ubers work out expensive if using all the time.

This is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

The hotel is very cost-effective and the transportation is very convenient. It is very suitable for travelers who come to Turin to see the ball. The hotel room has a large indoor area, unique decoration style and good hygiene.

The hotel is diagonally opposite Dora Station. very convenient. Not far from the two train stations, a few bus stops will do. Buses cost 2 Euros. The front desk speaks English with Italian accents. We arrived late but the reception was still very nice. The room was clean, drinks in the small refrigerator and the price list was on the bedside table. When you check out, she will ask you what you drank, and then check out together. There are more types of hotel breakfast than other cheap hotels in Italy, and they taste good. There are many fruits, fruit salads, and green salads. There are more types of bread. Other toast cheese ham and scrambled eggs should be considered standard in the European buffet breakfast, and there is also a poached egg. Drinks, first milk and various coffees, orange juice. Yogurt and cereals. See a lot of family trips. There are also many Chinese.

My 16 year old son unfortunately left his passport on the front counter as he checked out. Some 11 days later he realised that it was missing! This was on his way to Munich Airport with his team to get his flight home. Panic!! I called the hotel, and they confirmed his memory. I asked if they could possibly send this passport via DHL (or Fedex) to his airport hotel in Munich and I would pay them now whatever it took. They could not do this I was told, it was against their policy. I booked DHL to pick the passport up, they said they could, and went to pick it up and demanding the hotel pay first, this despite our booking stating that the fee would be paid by our son. DHL now refused. It's now Friday afternoon, Fedex could not pick up before the weekend, so my son was stuck in a Munich Airport Hotel for the weekend until we could make alternative arrangements the following week. I called Record Hotel at least 6 times and pleaded with them to help a 16 year old stuck in a Hotel by themselves, I repeatedly asked to speak with the General Manager, who over 3 days of my calling was never available. After 6 days/nights my son received his Passport via Fedex, arranged by ourselves, My only compliment to Record Hotel is that Fabio, the front office Manager was very helpful, but he was bound by his employer's rules not to help. Why they could not have called our son's Team Manager some 11 days earlier to state that there is a 16-year-olds Passport left behind, would be a stress free solution.

The location is at the entrance of the stadium, and the balcony of the room is directly opposite the stadium, which is very convenient. The boss is a Chinese, handsome guy in the northeast, he is very good, and he told us that you can get on the bus only when you buy a bus ticket at the Chinese cigarette shop opposite the hotel. The 72 bus goes to the center of the train station.
