Premier Inn Newcastle (Washington)

A very clean and comfortable room and bed in particular as always. Situated perfectly with a great restaurant and excellent bar both within 2 mins walk. We could also easily drive to and visit all our family around the NE. The icing on the cake for us was the warmth and friendliness of all the staff, who made us feel that we were staying in their big guest house! when chatting around the breakfast table ,we were well looked after by Sharon, Les, Chris, Ryan, Les and Tanya, who all went above and beyond, to make our stay so enjoyable we will be back.

Check in was easy and quick. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was excellent value. Breakfast was varied and was all you could eat. Very good quality and great service. All staff we had contact with were friendly ,efficient and attentive. Special mention to David, Chris and Tanya. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

There was construction work going on in guest rooms for the whole week I was there. I was so tired as I was disturbed by crazy level of noise starting at 8AM every day, so I asked the construction work start time to be pushed back to 9am instead but they told me it was out of their control (?) How hard is it to ask then to cone in at 9am not 8am. I asked to convey the message to the manager but I don't think they did as they started the construction at 8am every say the while week I stayed there. They moved me to a room further away from the spot where there was construction work, but they were renovating all the rooms, so it was a small improvement for one day and the next day the construction work was right above ky room again. All they has to so was to ask the construction workers to come in at 9qm instead of 8am but they did nit even do that. I think they were right our if order and brutal and cruel. Other than construction work though, the staff were nice and it is a goos hotel. Make sure the work is finished if you are considering staying here. There was no refrigerator, but after the renovation, there will be , apparently. So it will be goos to come back once the renovation is finished.

I needed some documents printing for work the next day, and Melanie was so so helpful and kind in printing these off for me. She was friendly, efficient and went over and above the demands of her role. What could have been a stressful situation was made to be very calm indeed!

A very good night’s sleep and the all you can eat breakfast was both good quality and good value. The waitress who served us at breakfast was friendly and efficient. Check in was easy and the receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming.

We were able to get a last-minute family room at this location right off the main highway heading south. It was a small family room but just what we needed for our family of four. The bathroom was a good size, just worn. The room was clean but the hotel is older and well used so could use some updating. Breakfast was fast and to Premier Inn standards. There is a Toby Charvey in the same parking lot for dinner or an alternative breakfast.

On our arrival and check-out, the Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was extremely clean and fresh, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast staff, Chris and Jack, were so helpful. The continental selection was plentiful with a good variety, and the cooked breakfast was brilliant. We will definitely stay there again when we visit family in the area, and would highly recommend to others.

Jack and Sharon made sure our breakfast was on point and couldn't do enough for us.. very friendly and welcoming... highly recommended... well done guys..

Well what can i say 10 - 10, me and my partner spent the weekend here. And was over the moon with our room , very clean great bed and everyone had a smile with the hotel staff. we had breakfast on 2 mornings and we could not fault the service with Sharon and Jack , they make your morning in my opinion , cant fault them both. the breakfast was 10-10. Les and Chris do an excellent job in the kitchen.Well done to everyone on reception , if you need a few nights away around newcastle area, i can highly reccommend this hotel. thanks guys keep up the great work
