"I booked it after reading the reviews that the bed was very comfortable and the service staff was very nice. When I checked in, I found out that this is a pilgrim hotel. There seemed to be two pilgrimage groups that day. The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities are old, but basically The environment is clean. The bathtub is a very ordinary bathtub. There is a bath, but it really doesn't feel like a hot spring🤔. There is a small refrigerator, which is frozen and there are buns from guests who don't know how long ago😔. There are simple porridge and side dishes for breakfast. , toast, coffee, black tea, soy milk, very simple. I walked to the busy road last night and found that many hot spring hotels are also good. I checked and the price is not more expensive than Hongguan. I will go elsewhere next time. The bed is neat and tidy. It's not a stand-alone room but it has moderate softness and hardness. The service staff is very good. On the day of check-in, they helped us upgrade to a four-person room (originally booked for three people). We had to make a reservation for the hot spring pool (family style), but we gave up after 9.10 o'clock.

"This hotel is quite ok. Although no one will come in to clean during the stay, you can go to the front desk to ask for supplies. The bathroom is also ok.
I read reviews before saying that the sound insulation is not good, but in fact it is not bad. You may also use earplugs to sleep; the transportation is very convenient, it is only a 5-minute walk to the train station, night market and meat soup. The shop selling souvenirs nearby is also good; the staff are also very good. We will introduce delicious food near the night market when you enter the hospital.
P.S. The basement of that building is for commercial property, so single travelers who don’t mind don’t want it, but I haven’t encountered any weird people in the few days I’ve been there, so it should be fine if you notice it."

"Building is rather new but there is no lift in the building and our room is on the 3rd floor. Our room has no electricity and they tried to fix it up without success. We were transferred to another building and had to go up 3 floors again. They have no power sockets at the bedside. Breakfast is mainly vegetables. Not recommended for old person."

"It’s my first time to stay at Kawayu Spring Flagship Hotel. It’s really great. In addition to the free shuttle bus to the transfer station, adults can enjoy the spa to their heart’s content, and children who drive racing cars don’t want to leave at all. The highlight is the breakfast (noon) the next day There is no limit on meal times and you can eat until 13:00! We only stayed for one night and everyone was reluctant to leave. We will definitely visit this hotel again!"

"The host Chris made us felt very welcomed with his selfless travel tips, scrumptious breakfasts, handwritten messages and exquisitely furnished accommodation. He even went the extra mile to review our itinerary for a better route or arrangement! He's highly responsive to our questions when we were outside, including helping us to arrange rides. There are also intimate small devices in the homestay, such as hot water in the room, and help to send postcards!"

"Although the location is in the middle of the field, it is also very close to the Luodong Night Market. The courtyard can be parked. The room is cleaned. The hair dryer is windy. Staff were approachable, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, cosy, and spacious. Daily top-up of minibar in your rooms. Breakfast was great with set meals for selection on top of the buffet spread.
Great location. It's just a stone throw from Jiaoxi train station. Walk down the street for many good foods.
Definitely will return again.

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.

YYu HuanWe recently stayed at Wellspring by Silks in Jiaoxi for a short getaway with my 7-year-old child, and it was one of the most relaxing and family-friendly stays we've had in Taiwan.
Location:
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, making it easy to arrive with a child and luggage. One of the best parts is how close it is to all the great local eateries—from traditional ********* breakfast spots to noodle shops and dessert places, everything is within a short stroll. We loved popping out for quick meals and snacks without planning too much. Even though it's centrally located, the hotel feels like a quiet, relaxing retreat once you're inside.
Room:
Our room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The private in-room hot spring bath was a huge hit—not just for me but also for my 7-year-old. The water temperature was easy to adjust, and it became our daily ritual to soak and relax.
Kid-Friendliness:
Although the hotel has a stylish, adult-focused vibe, the staff welcomed children. They provided child-sized slippers, which made my little one feel like a VIP guest. The rooftop pool area was also suitable for kids (with supervision), and we spent a lovely day splashing around with mountain views.
One thoughtful bonus: even after we checked out, we were still allowed to use the rooftop pool and hot spring facilities. That extra flexibility made a massive difference for us — it meant we could enjoy one more relaxing soak and a bit of pool time before catching our train home. It showed how the hotel goes the extra mile to accommodate families.
Facilities:
The rooftop infinity pool and hot spring area are just as beautiful as in the photos—peaceful, scenic, and well-maintained. There's also a cozy lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, which came in handy for quick breaks between activities. Everything felt clean, well-designed, and easy to access, even with a child.
Service:
The service was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions for nearby places to eat and always greeted my child with a smile. They made us feel welcome from start to finish.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was a treat for adults and kids — a great mix of Western and ********* options. My 7-year-old especially loved the fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, and mini croissants, while I enjoyed the local touches like sweet potato porridge, scallion pancakes, and handmade soy milk.
Overall:
Wellspring by Silks is a perfect blend of peaceful luxury and family-friendly comfort. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy the best of Jiaoxi's hot spring culture. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

EEstherLove this hotel even though the location is terrible, i love the staff, the hospitality, the never ending events they have, went to the rooftop bar to sit and chill with vouchers provided for ever 350 TWD spent. The individual onsen in each room was awesome. I stayed here twice in 2 months. Breakfast was wonderful! The waitress remembered us and our room numbers. They low-key kept a look out for a table for 6. Their restaurant was spacious, which makes the seating lesser and exquisite. Best experience ever. Will return if i go to Jiao Xi!

SSuzieLocation: Very close to the train station, within walking distance. Also close to the parks and public hot springs.
Staff: The staff were friendly, and kept our luggage stored when we checked out. Since I only spoke to them in my terribly broken Mandarin, I don't know how many staff could speak English for foreigners.
Room: Very clean, A/C works very well and isn't too noisy. The bed was large and comfortable. There was water, and tea and coffee - I forgot to look in the fridge.
Bathroom: Most hotels in Jiaoxi have hot spring bathtubs, and so does VASTY. There were plenty of toiletries and towels, flip-flops, slippers and bathrobes. The bath was lovely. Shower did make the entire floor wet, but not slippery.
Other amenities: The rooftop pools (x2) are small, heated to a comfortably warm temperature, and clean enough. There are loungers and chairs. There was a family with two young children playing in one of the pools and taking photos, very cute. Free water, towels and cans of Coca Cola upstairs too!
Breakfast: Buffet style with mostly Asian food, but plenty of choice to help oneself to meats, breads, fruits and vegetables. Tea, coffee, milk and juices. We went downstairs for breakfast at around 9am and had to wait for a few minutes, as there were no tables available.
Overall, we had a wonderful one night getaway in Jiaoxi, and would stay at VASTY again.

Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits)
When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks.

Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. ＜Not far away within 50 meters＞

彼彼得說It’s a very comfortable hotel. Children can use it all day long and it’s very close to nature. There’s a prairie where they can run. There’s also football and bubble balls for everyone to play with. It’s a great memory. However, one small drawback is that the water pressure of 512 is not enough. , there will be hot water and cold water suddenly, and children can easily get burned.
