The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and professional, clearly well-trained. They even assigned a dedicated butler to each guest, offering thoughtful and attentive service. We were also treated to a fantastic, short, and sweet performance put on by the staff themselves, which was a delightful and unique experience, especially being on top of Huangshan. The rooms were spotless, and they thoughtfully provided down jackets and flashlights for guests planning to watch the sunrise.

Convenient transportation, thoughtful service, clean rooms, and the mattress is very Hilton style, which is replaced quarterly. This time it is used from April to June, and it is comfortable to sleep. It is worth mentioning that the small dishes and noodles for breakfast in the hotel are good, and I personally think they are delicious.

Booked the Xihai Hotel in advance for a two-day trip to Huangshan with my parents, and it was absolutely worth it! On the first day, we took the Yungu cable car up in the afternoon and walked straight to Xihai for a rest. The next day, we hiked through the West Sea Grand Canyon, took the 'train' (referring to the monorail or similar transport) back up, and then descended via the Guest-Greeting Pine. The itinerary was perfect. My parents rested well, and the hotel was very clean and quiet. On the morning of the second day, we happened to see the sea of clouds right in front of the hotel plaza, and my mom said it was beautiful. The young lady at the front desk even upgraded my room and, seeing that there were three of us, gave me an extra breakfast voucher. To have such a great experience on the mountain is truly wonderful. I'll definitely stay at Xihai Hotel again on my next visit.

The facilities are complete, odorless, and relatively clean. The mini-bar drinks in the room are complimentary. Upon check-in, they provided slippers and a kaleidoscope for the child, as well as a welcome fruit platter. When checking out, we received a bag of souvenirs. The restaurant on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes, and all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, are incredibly friendly. Thumbs up! 👍 My child had a great time! 🥳 Food delivery is brought up to the room by a robot, which is a nice touch. It would be even better if the scent in the hallway was a bit milder.

A big thank you to Fang Chunmei for making my Huangshan trip feel like home. Staying at the hotel on the mountain, the luckiest thing was meeting Fang Chunmei. From patiently guiding us on the routes before we ascended and marking the sunrise direction, to helping us plan our itinerary and sharing recent weather updates, she meticulously helped with every detail. Since the hotel's buffet has fixed timings, and no food is available after those times, she very patiently reminded us about the meal times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so we wouldn't miss out. What truly touched me was when the children in the next room were so noisy that we couldn't sleep; she proactively stepped in to help mediate, allowing us to finally get a full night's rest. She said, ”When you're hiking, getting good rest is the most important thing.” This genuine altruism is rare and truly commendable (give her a raise! She deserves it!!). On the day we went up the mountain, it was windy and rainy outside. Our clothes were soaked and it was super cold. Upon entering, we were greeted with ginger tea she had prepared. After getting to our room, she told us where we could dry our clothes, which was incredibly comforting in the snowy and windy weather. Thanks to her thoughtfulness, this Huangshan trip not only offered beautiful scenery but also a heartwarming human touch. Highly recommended! P.S. The attached photo shows the balcony view from the cloud-level room.

Facilities: Well-maintained. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff (Dajie) cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day, even asking about preferences and providing two extra bottles of water, which was a nice touch. Environment: There's road construction nearby, but the underpass is open, so driving is still quite convenient. Service: I especially want to commend Miss Lyra! She recommended so many great restaurants and photo spots – super thoughtful!

Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes. Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff! Special thanks to Lily, our WeChat contact, who went above expectations in being proactive and supported all our needs. We brought up something for improvement that aligns with current industry practice and she happily resolved it during our stay. Great customer service for sure!

Highly recommend the InterContinental Hefei! 👍 It's centrally located by Swan Lake, close to Anhui Museum, Hechai 1972, and Leijie, making getting around super convenient 🚗. The room was spacious and comfortable 🛏️, equipped with an air purifier, and the bathroom was clean with no strange odors 🚿. Our dedicated butler was fantastic, providing attentive and thoughtful service 💁. They proactively offered us a quiet, non-smoking floor and even helped us order food and deliver it to our room 🍜. The kids were tired from sightseeing and were able to enjoy a meal as soon as we got back. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious 🍳; even though there were many people, everything was well-organized, and they even had some special Hefei snacks. Overall, a perfect experience! Kudos to all the staff. Staying here with kids in Hefei was incredibly stress-free. We received a lovely welcome gift upon check-in and a fridge magnet when we left, which made us very happy. Highly, highly recommend! ✨

Very nice hotel in Wuhu. I stayed for one night. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the city. The open floor plan is interesting and enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom area. The bed was comfortable and large enough for me (6’5”). Breakfast had a large variety to select from, and enjoyed the Chinese dishes the most. The hotel is located right next to the river, and I enjoyed walking on the boardwalk. Great place to stay.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

GGuest UserThe location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

GGuest UserLuckily, we stayed at this hotel during Chinese New Year. A driver picked us up from the airport. It's super close to the cable car, so we were the first family to ride it up in the morning and saw the sunrise over Greeting-Pine. After getting off the cable car, the driver picked us up again and took us back to the hotel for a delicious dinner. We had an early start for hiking, and the hotel even packed us a tasty light meal to take with us. They also have great coffee, which is a rare find in Huangshan! After coming down the mountain, we could relax in the tea room and enjoy some excellent tea, then take a refreshing walk around the back of the mountain. The hotel owner has excellent taste.

SSunsuntravelWe stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. If you are traveling with family, visiting Jiuhua Mountain for the first time, or simply looking for a place where you can truly relax and feel supported, this is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality, worry-free experience.

GGuest UserThe room was excellent, service was very attentive, there was a cute dog, and the room itself was unique, with a superb location. I particularly love both Yunjis; each has its own distinct charm. There's a big-eyed young man who works in the restaurant. His eyes are huge and he's incredibly handsome. My trip to Huangshan was absolutely worth it. I came alone and initially thought I'd feel lonely, but with the companionship of all the butlers, I felt life slow down, very relaxed and at ease. I've climbed mountains many times, but staying at Yunji felt like they were an extension of my own arms and legs – so natural, anticipating my needs in advance, and always willing to help with any requests I had. Additionally, I visited in December, and they had Jigongjian persimmons at the store. I ate 7 persimmons and asked for two more dried persimmons; they were better than any persimmon I'd ever tasted. I stayed at Songji. After watching the sunrise, I dozed off for a bit. When I woke up and opened the window, the sunlight poured in, and I suddenly had a moment of profound clarity, feeling as if time itself had become still. I also saw the Geminid meteor shower on December 14th. I saw Huangshan's first snow, and witnessed both sunrise and sunset. This trip was truly worthwhile. Yunji is expensive for a reason. I initially thought it was just about a better environment and nicer rooms, but the quality of service and attentiveness provides a peaceful kind of care. My soul felt healed. Here are my subjective feelings: During my recent stay at Yunji, I saw the big-eyed young man in the restaurant. His eyes were as clean as rime on distant mountains, yet held a subtle hint of alarm and sadness. They are the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, uniquely pure, yet not cold. They are like a musician's notes, a painter's pigments, a writer's words – a flash of inspiration for a master, a moment of profound insight, a gathering of souls aided by heaven and earth, interpreting the natural beauty of Huangshan and the cultural charm of Qingliang Villa. I saw the Milky Way from the terrace; the light from those stars traveled countless years, and in that moment, I saw them. This young man's eyes struck me like a multitude of stars, and I was unexpectedly moved, thinking, ”All conditioned phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows; like dew and lightning, they should be regarded as such.” Huangshan is like these eyes, piercing through my tranquility, like brewing wine with pine flowers and steeping tea with spring water. I try my best to record such beauty, to grasp the bright spots in life. I didn't take a photo of this young man, because when taking pictures, the gaze is focused on the screen, not reality. I took many photos because I was worried I'd forget the unique scenery of Huangshan. But these eyes, I think, will be hard to forget. The impact they had on me was the finishing touch to my Huangshan trip.

AAinara | 小爱The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. GGuest UserIt's a little far from Namdaemun, about ten minutes' drive, but the owner of the B&B is very nice, pick up and drop off. I arrived a day in advance and wanted to store my luggage up the mountain. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

AAnonymous UserI was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price. Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good. Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room. The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself. I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets. Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

WWee Meng SengWe are a family of four. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel thoroughly. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The Hotel was surrounded by mountains but it has all the facilities of a five star Hotel. As it was winter we didn't use the swimming pool but we had a fun time soaking in the outdoor hot springs. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the ingredients were of the best quality. The reception was warm and professional. The young men and lady running the place gave us excellent advice on how to climb the mountain. Overall, I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants an excellent time at the mountain base before climbing the mountain and to recoup after the climb before returning to the hustle and bustle of city life.
