The front desk staff were friendly, and the location is great, close to both the train and bus stations. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, though it would be even better if there were more hooks in the bathroom for towels.
We had a wonderful stay at Royal Fine Hotel in Kaohsiung City. The location is great — just about a 400m walk from the train station, which made getting around really convenient. The reception staff were incredibly nice and attentive, and we loved the free snacks and drinks available in the welcoming area. There’s even a laundry room on Level 2, which was super helpful.
Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary snacks waiting for us. The shower was spacious, and the water pressure was amazing.
We’re sorry we don’t have hotel photos to share, but here are some pictures of the city instead. We truly enjoyed our stay every night!

We were on the 11th floor that provided thrilling rides and views in the elevator. The laundry facility was clean, inexpensive and efficient. There’s an auditorium, very nice for community events. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with many selections of both Asian and Western choices, all of it delicious. The fitness area is very nice and I wish we’d had time to enjoy the spa. The city views were nice and we could almost see the ocean. Robes and slippers were cozy. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is very close to Taichung Train Station- which is then close to major highlights in Taichung. For its price, its really worth it. Plus, a nice breakfast is available. I will definetly book this hotel if I’m back in Taichung.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel and would happily come back again.
The room view was superb. Waking up to it each morning honestly set the tone for the day. The bed was comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. We slept well throughout the stay.
The location is another big plus. It is convenient, easy to get around, and close to key amenities, which is especially helpful when travelling with family.
Overall, this hotel ticks all the right boxes. Comfortable, well located, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for a pleasant and hassle free stay.

The two queen beds in the room is smaller than expected (we measured the two beds at 150cm x 188cm)
The rooms and inside the hotel can be cleaner as it is a “5 star” hotel.
The food at Thai Restaurant is normal (nothing special).
The salad bar at the morning buffet is good. I think the location is good. The parking lot is far…. You might have to walk 5 minutes back to the front entrance if the parking spots at the front are taken (usually are and we went during low season).
Overall, this hotel offers its services and products like a 4 star hotel rather than “5 stars”.

Great location right outside Taichung Railway Station, with Taroko Mall just across the way. We were supposed to stay three nights, but due to the typhoon the hotel kindly let us extend without any hassle. Comfortable room, helpful staff, and very convenient overall. Highly recommend!

My stay at FX Hotel Tainan completely redefined my expectations for a budget hotel! The location is absolutely superb – Chihkan Tower and Guohua Street Food District are just a 10-minute walk away, and the Shennong Street cultural and creative area is also within easy reach. Just a left turn downstairs and you'll find a 7-Eleven; to the right, there are famous Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) and beef soup restaurants. For late-night cravings, heading straight to Bao'an Road Night Market was pure bliss! ✨
The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area.
🚗 Transportation is incredibly convenient too! It's only an 8-minute drive from Tainan Railway Station.
Overall, it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still value quality. For your Tainan trip, you definitely can't go wrong staying here!

There were many hotels at Chaofu road because I wanted to stay somewhere near the shopping malls like ShinKong Mitsushita and The Lin would be the best option. I highly recommend this hotel because breakfast has a good spread, the team was excellent, helpful and they tried their best in their every way! Thank you especially to Donny; Amber and the team at front desk; they’re are all heaven sent!
The room I’ve stayed at was luxurious!! Everything was memorable for me♥️🙏🏻✨ Thank you The Lin!! I would highly recommend this hotel whenever you’re in Taichung!!

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely excellent staff, and a lovely hotel in Beitou. However the rooms are starting to show its age as it opened in 2010 - e.g. I observed some stains on the doors in my room. Conveniently located in the touristy part of Beitou, near the library and steps away from a 7-Eleven if you need anything at night.
SsjenskaaVery cheap but definitely of good value. The rooms are spacious, just not that many amenities (but that’s totally ok for the price). The hotel is located next to the railway, but we didn’t have any problem sleeping.
GGuest UserLocation is topnotch! Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is delicious and many options to choose from - Hot pot every morning and different types of beverages. Worth every penny! Book this hotel if you want good breakfast and nice place to stay within ximednjng area.
JJoykceWe reached at 1230pm and was told that we can check in only after 4pm. It’s fine so we went ahead exploring Xinmending which is a 20mins walk. What is unwelcoming was the toilet at the lobby. It was in a terrible state choking with poop and that is the only toilet. The room is dim especially the bathroom. The bathroom doors are opaque so we can almost see through when we were using the bathroom from the room. The carpet along the corridor and room is moldy, walls are peeling. Location is good as it’s a stone way from Taipei Main Station. We booked 3 nights but checked out after one night as it was uncomfortable.
AAnonymous UserThe staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, with private bathrooms, comfortable beds, and good air conditioning. Towels were available for rent, and the location was quite convenient. Unfortunately, there was someone snoring in the room, so I didn’t sleep very well. But overall, it was a good stay and I was satisfied.
GGuest UserI found some small black debris after the water came out of the bathtub in the room. I'm not sure if it was in the pool or in the water. I still saw it after the water ran out and was replayed. The overall visual of the room was very comfortable and clean. Maybe my skin is more sensitive and I still felt a little itchy caused by dust mites, but I still slept well until dawn. It was nice to relax and have a good rest in a natural environment.
For meals, we had hotpot in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Both were average. There were not many styles but they were enough. The attitude of the service staff was very good!
GGuest UserI recently stayed at N Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated close to both the green and red MTR lines, making it easy to explore the city. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, which adds to the overall appeal.
The room, while small, is smartly furnished and arranged, maximizing the available space without feeling cramped. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which provided a nice retreat after a day of sightseeing. The desk in the room is spacious enough to work comfortably, which was a plus for my business needs.
Overall, N Hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a well-located and efficiently designed space. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
CCP_LeeI write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all.
The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing?
The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room.
On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before.
It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well?
Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me.
It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again
I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.
