Decent ok hotel, proximity to tai Chung railway station less than 8 mins walk if you go by the correct route and not follow blindly on the google map, breakfast can be missed as really need improvement but good to have as not many eateries nearby, good thing is there is a gang cheng station outside and opposite the hotel which can bring you to two famous night markets - Feng chia and Yi Zhong (better), take bus 25, 33, 35, but expect long distance ride, hotel room wall is too thin so be prepared to be disturbed at all times especially at night, WiFi can be weak at times, one last complain is the no throwing of toilet paper into the toilet bowl as too inconvenient for ladies but at this price of a well renovated hotel room, this is still acceptable
This is the closest hotel to the airport, and there's a shuttle bus service every half hour between the airport and the hotel. You need to book the shuttle before midnight, but after midnight, no reservation is required since there are more people taking the shuttle in the morning.

I've been here many times, always choosing to come during the off-season before Chinese New Year. Both breakfast and dinner are great, and the hotel rooms have been renovated. It's a shame the macaw from before is gone. The beautiful scenery of Xiaowan Beach remains as stunning as ever.

It’s a beautiful hotel with rich history. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. We tried the famous red bean rice cake and other dishes at one of the restaurants and they are delicious. We also did the one of the secret pathway tour, it’s fun and informative. We didn’t have chance to explore all the amenities of the hotel. The hotel is on a hilltop so it’s less walkable for some people. But it has free shuttle bus between hotel and nearby bus station. Also you don’t have to stay there to enjoy the food or the tour.

This hotel is directly across from Taichung TRA Station, making it super convenient to catch a train in just a few minutes. Miyahara Eye Hospital (famous for its ice cream and souvenirs) is also just a short walk away. You can easily catch a bus right outside to Rainbow Village. It's incredibly convenient.
The hotel facilities are great too. The front desk service was reassuring, and they offer complimentary lemon juice and snacks in the lobby. The king-size bed in the room definitely felt wider than 1.5 meters, probably closer to 2 meters wide. Both the bathroom and toilet were clean. Breakfast is served on the second floor and it's absolutely fantastic!

When check in, the staff was busy, It was confused me to rush for check in, apperantly the room was on the other building, so I need to go out and enter the other building. Not sure about the security, looks like no security on the other building. For breakfast I have to go out to the front office building on the 2nd floor. They give coupon for breakfast from 7-10. The breakfast was okay, and same type of menu. The room quite big, the bathroom okay, with full amenities. It seems the the room wasn't clean properly, there some small plastic rubbish on the corner when I check in, I wouldn't bother. Light in front of bathroom wasn't good enougj, since the mirror there you need when you getting ready to go out. They provide water bottle and tea bag. Free store luggage service upon check in and check out. Location is near the train station, walkable to Miyahara and around train station was really nice at night.
Second time stay at this hotel. Rooms are different size under same booking. Room cleaning never wash or changed clean cups Overall still a good value hotel.
I stayed in a room with a view, and my overall experience was decent. Some of the walls in the room showed slight signs of wear and tear, and there was some dampness in the corner by the window, which might be due to the cold weather and high humidity. The toilet isn't a bidet, and there was no warm water for washing, which was a bit inconvenient in winter. Other than that, the rest of the facilities and services met standard accommodation expectations, so I'm generally satisfied.

Stayed in a double room for 2 nights.
Pros:
Close to the station, and the price was quite reasonable (breakfast not included).
Cons:
The room I stayed in this time was very damp and had a strange odor. Also, if you're next to the main staircase, any footsteps are really disruptive (likely due to both human factors and poor soundproofing).

Convenient location - with all sorts of stores around the vicinity. Tried the massage place across the street ( it was superb) and great beef noodles stall + boba tea all within walking distance.
The hotel is nice and clean with a robotic cocktail bar in the lobby, and Starbucks too!

AAnonymous UserGreat value for money! It's an older five-star hotel, but it's well-maintained and very comfortable. The location is convenient, and the views are fantastic with an open panorama. Safety feels assured, and all the staff are really nice!

KkhtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!
EEthanchanStrategically located at Taipei main station, the heartland of Taipei where all attractions can be gone to with ease.
Didn’t expect a lot from hostel. They can do daily cleaning. Disinfection when necessary and a good job done.
Breakfast is simple. Everyone loves it.
SsjenskaaVery cheap but definitely of good value. The rooms are spacious, just not that many amenities (but that’s totally ok for the price). The hotel is located next to the railway, but we didn’t have any problem sleeping.
AAlly.TWe had mentioned that we didn’t want a corner room, but one was assigned to us anyway. When we entered the room, the air conditioner had clearly been running for a while — it was freezing inside. No matter how we tried to adjust the temperature, the display stayed at 13 degrees. We also found two dead flies on the bed.
We reported this to the receptionist. At first, he said the air conditioning was centrally controlled, so the temperature couldn’t be changed. He also offered to provide an extra blanket in case we still felt cold and to change the bed sheets, but we refused. He then arranged another room for us, where the temperature could be adjusted to 24 degrees. However, the light in that room was broken and kept flickering. Not recommend and not coming back.
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Meworld Hotel Taipei Main Station. The location is excellent —very convenient and within easy access to Taipei Main Station, making it perfect for getting around the city.
The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Cleanliness was good overall. The room was generally well-maintained, though there’s still a bit of room for improvement to make it perfect.
The amenities were average. Basic facilities are available, but don’t expect too many extras or luxury features.
Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for convenience and good service.
SSiva Rama 256Check in takes only 5 minutes and check out much more faster with 10 seconds with a self check out machine that will suck in your room card.
Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.
YYI PEII was given a free room upgrade. After parking my car, a shuttle bus took me up the mountain to the main hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, but the soundproofing was a bit poor. The breakfast (set meal) was very rich, and the handmade bread was delicious.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, and it's also close to Taipei Main Station. If you're taking the Airport MRT, I recommend exiting from Taipei Main Station A1, Exit 5. From there, you can walk straight to the hotel, which takes about 10 minutes (including waiting for traffic lights).
The nearby MRT stations are NTU Hospital Station (3-minute walk) and Taipei Main Station (7-minute walk). There are also many bus stops, making transportation very convenient.
Regarding the check-in experience, the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and guest rooms for this hotel occupy floors 3-5. There are only two elevators, and since the building houses other businesses, waiting for an elevator can take a while.
The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Before check-in, there was about a minute-long 'rap' outlining the check-in policies.
The hotel bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. It seems to have been recently renovated, as it felt spacious and bright. Soundproofing was acceptable; I could still hear cleaning noises from outside and sounds from the adjacent room. I chose a room with a window this time, but the window couldn't be opened.
Amenities provided were limited to slippers and toilet paper. The shampoo and shower gel were a 2-in-1 product, with a light, pleasant scent and no strange odors.
Overall, it was a pretty good stay, even exceeding my expectations.
(Attached: hotel check-in instructions, a picture before check-out, and the nearest Airport MRT exit to the hotel.)
