I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Raia Hotel Alor Setar. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest after a long drive. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. The hotel’s location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and food options. Overall, a good value stay and I wouldn’t mind returning in the future.

Stayed in a Delux Renovated Room which was still pretty rough for being vlassed as 'renovated' including a worn out seat, worn woodwork and a very old and mouldy fridge. The Wifi was also very slow and the TV was not smart so you could not use your own streaming services or youtube. Arrived about 4pm to be told that the restaurant closes at 6pm and does not reopen until breakfast when we were hoping to get an evening meal. Lastly the cleaning was not great as the shower had a big hair ball on the floor!

Thank you so much for upgrading us to the VIP room. We were very happy and comfortable throughout our stay there We just wanted to gently highlight one small thing — the air conditioner was very cold, which was good, but the sound was a bit loud (bunyi terlalu kuat). Other than that, everything was great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciate the excellent service.

The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and professional, always ready to assist with any questions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Close to Penang Airport with convenient transportation. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. I always stay at this hotel when I travel to Penang for business. The hotel environment is great, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Great location.Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and Iron provided in the room. BUT, I booked 2 x King bed room. One of the room's toilet not clean and water flow out very slow like flooded in the bath area. Basin got stuck and water flow out very slow also. Already inform reception. Hope Hotel can take note of that and repair soon. Exhaust fan in the toilet very lound and disturb sleeping quality

Great location for seeing the sights. Modern hotel with room comfortable but a bit tired in places e.g stained shower tiles. However good value for money. The food in the restaurant was tasty but we had to ask for it to be heated up. Breakfast had a reasonable selection for westerners. Staff very helpful.

To anyone those who want to staycation for family, please choose this hotel. Its was pleasant feel like 5⭐️ hotel. We book for 3 single bed. But upon arrival and checked in, they give us the connecting room. 1 king bed and 2 single bed. The give us good morning buffet and the food is good and delicious. Thankyou swiss avenue hotel. Such a pleasant hotel to be stayed in.

Check in on 16 Jan 26 at 10pm an check out on 17 Jan 26 at 12pm. At both occasions, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room just nice for me and my husband with all the basic facilities. Nasi Kandar Yasmeen just beside the hotel so you won't get hungry. Ample parking space and easy to find the hotel. Will surely come again.

The hotel is very nice. Despite the fact that the hotel is old, and, for example, in our room type, the shower and toilet were separate, and the washbasin was in the common room area, all other things compensate for it. The hotel is clean. The location is good, 7-10 minutes by car to the central beach, you can use the Grab app or use the free shuttle bus that runs 2 times a day between the hotel and Cenang Mall, which is located in the area of the central public beach. The hotel also has friendly staff. In addition, it is convenient that you can buy all sightseeing tours right at the hotel. What we liked the most was the very tasty and varied breakfasts, as well as the infinity pool, which is open until midnight. We recommend👍🏻
