Booked this hotel as I was visiting a show in Pacifico Yokohama and this was within reasonable walking distance through Landmark Plaza.
General location is excellent, within short walking distance from Sakuragicho Station on the JR line, thru the Colette Mall which is connected to the hotel. Also walkable to the Ferris Wheel and Cup Noodles Museum.
The Colette Mall has a wide variety of shops and restaurants including a cinema and supermarket in the basement so that adds to the convenience for this hotel.
The hotel lobby is on L3, where they also have a restaurant and an amenities rack where you can pick up what you need (hair brush, shower cap, shaver kit etc). The room is rather small for 2 persons with not much space to walk around if you have 2 luggages opened at the same time. Bathroom area is also quite tight but thankfully clean. I guess the size is typical of hotels in Japan.
Bed and pillow is ok though I would prefer it firmer. There's a water dispenser on every level near the lifts. I also wished they had brighter lights, the dim orange lights make working on the laptop a little challenging.
It's also interesting that they change the bedsheets daily when I request for making up room but actually all I need is a change of towels and clearing out the rubbish. Maybe they can offer an option for just that in future, to be more sustainable.

I stayed for five nights, and the hotel's location is excellent – super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting to the train station or airport. Since there were three of us, the hotel kindly added an extra bed for the third person at no charge. The stay was comfortable, and the toiletries were fully stocked, so even if you forget your personal items, you're covered. They replenished the fridge daily with beer and drinks, and the drip coffee was surprisingly good. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices; you could even make your own mini-burgers. Both the food and service at breakfast were great.
The only downside was the check-in process, which felt quite chaotic. Perhaps it was a busy day, and the front desk and concierge were overwhelmed. I was with two elderly people and heavy luggage, and I had to find someone to check us in and move our luggage entirely by myself. There was no guidance or assistance from the hotel staff. In contrast, I saw staff members escorting a young lady to her room with just a small handbag. I believe hotels should prioritize assisting guests with elderly companions, children, heavy luggage, or those with mobility issues. In the following days, I also noticed staff taking young guests with no large luggage to my floor, which left me confused about their service policy. This aspect of the experience was quite disappointing.

I had a great time! The hotel was located very conveniently - not too far from JR Kannai Station as well as the subway. There are plenty of convenience stores around. It is also not too far from the red warehouse and downtown Yokohama on the Minatomirai line. For baseball fans, the hotel is close to the Yokohama Stadium as well.
The room and facilities were all excellent and clean. They even provide memory foam pillows.
Breakfast was Italian. It's fine. Nothing extraordinary but definitely welcomed.

The room was very spacious, and apart from skincare products, all other amenities were well-provided. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was also a nice touch. The ocean view room was absolutely stunning, and we even got to see the fireworks display for Yokohama Port's opening season at night. The only downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy.
The front desk service was excellent; they could communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese, and they also offered free luggage storage. Very satisfied overall!
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was consistently excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who were always ready to help. The location is a major highlight—convenient, easy to access, and close to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Overall, it offers great comfort and value, and I would happily stay here again.

I arrived at the hotel in the evening and was given an even-numbered room with a view of the Ferris wheel in the port area... What a pleasant surprise it was the next morning when I opened the window to see Mount Fuji! The room was quite spacious for Tokyo standards, between 35-40 square meters.
There's no need to worry about hygiene in Japanese hotels; the cleanliness standards ensure a comfortable stay. Most of the staff are from Southeast Asia or English-speaking countries, so communication was not an issue. The location isn't the absolute best; for our travels, it's still four stations away from Yokohama Station on the Minatomirai Line, which is about 15 minutes, haha. But given the price and quality, it's totally worth it!
What truly convinced me to stay here was their children's policy. Japan is notoriously difficult when it comes to choosing hotels for family travel. With two adults and two pre-teens (not infants), you're often asked to book two rooms. Even if you're willing to pay more, you don't want to sleep in separate rooms as it's inconvenient for looking after each other. However, this hotel allows 2+2 in one suite, which makes it very convenient for parents. Plus, the twin beds can be combined, and there are no annoying bedside tables, which is excellent. This tip is for other parents out there.
The only drawback was that even though the booking information clearly stated 2+2, and the hotel was aware, with a multi-person fee paid, the amenities provided were only for a standard occupancy. The reception didn't proactively ask if we needed children's amenities during check-in, and we only realized how scarce the supplies were after entering the room, prompting us to request more... Only two bottles of bottled water were provided. I let it slide on the first day because the room was randomly assigned, but it was still two bottles on the second day. If someone makes formula, there's no water left for anyone else to drink... I hope they can be more generous in this regard; it's a small cost for great value.
The hotel is about a 12‑minute walk from Keikyu‑Kawasaki Station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores along the way. It’s a good option for travelers heading to Haneda Airport.
There are a few downsides:
1. Even though I booked a 26 m² room, I could still only open one suitcase at a time. The layout is a bit odd,the separate toilet and separate shower are almost the same size, and both are bigger than the small table area.
2. For guests staying multiple nights, the hotel doesn’t automatically provide extra coffee packets or tissues. There’s a bathtub, but bath salts are only provided on the first day. There’s also no in‑room phone, so you have to go downstairs to the front desk if you need anything.
3. Breakfast is very simple. It’s just three rice balls with a nice story behind them, but honestly, a more substantial breakfast would be more practical.
Overall, the hotel works fine for business travelers, but it doesn’t really feel worth the USD 200 per night.

I visited for the first time in three years, and it is still excellent. First of all, the location is great for sightseeing in the center of Yokohama. The hotel is large and luxurious, and well-equipped with amenities such as a restaurant, convenience store, swimming pool (limited time), large public bath, massage chairs, ice machine, and microwave. I especially loved being able to grill various fish and shellfish, including shishamo, right in front of me at breakfast!

Staying at Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel was a really convenient and comfortable experience, especially if you’re exploring central Yokohama. The hotel is directly connected to Shin-Takashima Station, which makes getting around super easy even if it’s raining or you have luggage. Rooms are modern, clean, and efficiently designed—compact but not uncomfortable, with everything you need for a short stay. The bed is soft, and the lighting gives a calm, relaxed vibe after a long day out.
Service is smooth and professional, with quick check-in and helpful staff. There’s also a lounge and breakfast area that keeps things simple but pleasant. Overall, it’s a great value hotel for travellers who prioritise location, cleanliness, and ease of transport over luxury extras.

Today, under a beautiful sky, I arrived in the seaside city of Yokohama and checked into the InterContinental Yokohama Grand. Although the hotel shows its age a bit, the lobby is spacious, bright, and grand. The room facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Outside the window, I could see the Ferris wheel and amusement park, with skyscrapers towering nearby. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the night view was spectacular. Overall, Yokohama gave me a strong sense of the future!

Very Good
GGuest UserI spent a wonderful night here during New Year's Eve. The waiter barely understands people and foreign languages, but he is friendly and good at communication. I booked a public bathroom first, but then I changed it to a private bath when there was room. My satisfaction improved a lot! The hotel is very close to Hakoyō-Yumoto Station, and the taxi cost was less than 1,000 yen. Later, we couldn't get a taxi and it was very comfortable for us to walk to the station for 15 minutes with our children🏳️🌈
GGuest UserWe used this hotel for a birthday trip. We had requested a message plate when making the reservation, but it wasn't reflected in our request. However, when we inquired with the staff during dinner, they kindly accommodated our request, allowing us to create the surprise. I had always wanted to stay at Fufu, and this was my first time, and it was a wonderful experience. We've already talked about wanting to stay at other Fufu locations for each other's birthday trips in the future. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
__WeChat37906****The hotel's location is super convenient, right near Gora Station, and parking was a breeze. The Kaiseki dinner really exceeded our expectations – it was delicious! The room and balcony were both quite spacious, making for a very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserHakone Kowakien Ten-yu is a truly comfortable and relaxing ryokan that made our stay very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived by car, and they promptly helped unload our luggage and delivered it to the hotel. They also assisted with carrying our luggage back to the car during check-out. The room was well-equipped, clean, and very hygienic, and the high-floor view was wide and beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffet were both satisfying, with delicious food and a good variety of choices. The onsen was also impressive, with two levels of outdoor baths that are alternated between men and women at different times, allowing guests to enjoy both. The water park-style onsen area was a bit less impressive, but overall, this ryokan deserves a very high rating. The official site highlights its open-air onsen, private baths in all rooms, and well-regarded dining, which matches the strong overall experience here
HHehehe_233This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in the greater Tokyo area! The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's very close to JR Kawasaki Station, and you can reach Tokyo Station in about 20 minutes with just three stops on the Tokaido Line. It really holds its own against hotels within central Tokyo. The area around Kawasaki Station is also bustling with businesses. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. The room itself was spotless and tidy, and the amenities were well-appointed – even the TV was a large Sony. Thank you!!
11360173****Ryori-yaku (restaurant name), the hot springs in Hakone are unparalleled, but the food here really deserves mention. I've been to Ryori-yaku in Izu before, and compared to that, this one probably suits my taste better. It's not as sweet, so the food is refreshing and not cloying. The only downside is that the rooms are really small—every inch of space is precious!
GGuest UserTake the Shinkansen from Osaka to Odawara, then transfer to the tram to Hakone Yumoto, and then take a bus to Gora. Two people dragged their suitcases and walked uphill for 15 minutes. They were exhausted. When they arrived at the hotel, they found that they could wait for the train in Gora, and it only took 5 minutes to walk. The hotel facilities are not new, and there are not many guests, mostly Japanese tourists. The hot spring is relatively small, and the water temperature is very high. You have to come out to breathe after soaking for a while. I experienced the private bath and open-air hot spring, and there were a lot of mosquitoes. The food is OK, worthy of the price.
MMarioaidahaiThis hotel is self-service, but it's absolutely fantastic. First off, the location and the view from the window are unbeatable. It features authentic Hakone hot spring water directly to your room, and you can definitely smell the sulfur. You can also BBQ on the terrace while enjoying a foot bath and a drink. It's perfect for a longer stay during your vacation.
