We booked room 270. The window was large and open, offering a stunning sea view. Although the staff didn’t speak English, we communicated easily using a translation app — it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything was clean, and the room had smart features. There were convenient light and curtain controls right next to the bed, which made our stay even more comfortable.
If you're planning a trip to the sea, this hotel has a truly luxurious view and a perfect location. It was both cozy and elegant. We're definitely ready to stay here again. Thank you!
I came here to experience the hotel because it was newly opened. Indeed, all the facilities and equipment are quite new. The room is equipped with a sofa bed, the screen is also movable, there is a small bar and tableware, and there is a quilt in the cabinet. It is very suitable for family travel. At the beginning, I felt that except for the cold attitude of the front desk, I was quite satisfied with everything else. We just arrived at the room. Fruits were delivered right after. As a result, when I took a shower at night, I found that the hot water was very small and I couldn’t take a shower at all. I could only call the front desk. The solution given by the front desk was to change rooms. Because there were a lot of luggage and it was late, I didn’t want to change rooms, so I asked the engineering to repair it. But they still asked to change rooms. Okay, then change rooms. We asked the staff to go to the room to check whether the hot water was normal. As a result, the staff did not check and came directly to our room to let us change. We asked again to check, and the staff went to check. The result was also broken. If we didn’t check it, wouldn’t we go there directly? ? ? ? Very speechless. Later, we changed our room to the 7th floor and checked that the hot water was normal. After we moved our luggage over, we looked at the bedding, and it turned out to be very dirty. There was a little garbage under the pillow. It was outrageous!!! We asked the front desk to come again, and they asked us to change rooms. Let's change, and asked her to check the room first. I really didn't want to bother, but the attitude was not good, and asked us to check it ourselves. I was very tired, so I asked my boyfriend to check it. The quilt was dirty, okay. Dirty. I said, then change the quilt for us. The staff asked us to pick up the quilt ourselves. This was the first time I encountered such a situation, and I was shocked. Okay, okay, I just want to take a shower and go to bed. It's really not as good as the attitude of the Hanting Hotel we stayed in the day before.
The cleaning of the second day was OK.

One day in advance, the hotel staff Fu Meng took the initiative to contact and ask about specific needs, such as room orientation, children's supplies, etc., and also upgraded the room type for free. The service was very serious and responsible. All kinds of supplies were prepared before check-in.
Arrived at 8 o'clock that night, the lobby concierge Xiaotian took the initiative to help with the luggage, and patiently introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding conditions. The front desk presented freshly baked cookies and donkey mascots, which the children liked very much.
The hotel room is clean and tidy, the north-facing room has a good view, the swimming pool water temperature is just right, the breakfast variety is comprehensive, and the most important thing is that the quality is very high, not at all makeshift, and it is definitely worth the price.
The only two shortcomings are that the north-facing room is close to the road, so there will still be a little noise at night, but it does not affect rest, and the second is that the refrigerator in the room is broken. I contacted the front desk and quickly replaced it with a new one. The response was quick and worthy of praise.
I will definitely choose Hilton next time I come to Baoding.

Catching the tail end of the summer holidays, we finally made it to Chongli Cuiyun Mountain, a place I'd been longing to visit. I'd been to Chongli before, for skiing in the winter at Taiwu and Wanlong. Back then, it was a 4-hour drive, traffic permitting. Now, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail is incredibly convenient, and the shuttle service from the high-speed rail station to the hotel is seamless, scheduled according to the train timetable, which is super convenient.
A special thanks to Dora, who called a day in advance to confirm our room arrangements based on our needs. She thoughtfully arranged connecting rooms for us, which made both the seniors and the kids very happy. She patiently helped us with all our questions, making our trip truly perfect. The Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express are in the same building, but the areas are very well-divided, so they don't disturb each other. The rooms are spacious, the balconies are wide, and it's quiet both day and night, making it perfect for a vacation. The breakfast spread is rich and delicious, and the freshly baked bread is especially good. The gym and the sky-view hot tubs on the tenth floor, although not huge, are sufficient for a fun time. My only wish is that the hot tubs were a bit warmer; that would be even better.
Every morning, we'd go feed the animals at the small zoo in front of the hotel – three little pigs and three big geese, so much fun. The amenities in the town are more than enough for a two-night, three-day stay. The kids went tubing three times a day and took the cart ride once – they just couldn't get enough. For dinner, we ate at Tiger Cub every night. The clay pot dishes were delicious, and the grilled skewers were amazing – great value for money. The only regret was that it rained when we went to Cuiyun Mountain Forest Park, so after a long ride on the big-foot vehicle, we couldn't hike to the top. We'll just have to save that for next time. All in all, a very satisfying trip!!

Stayed here during the National Day holiday, and they already had floor heating, which was great even though we couldn't ski yet. The autumn scenery was beautiful! The hotel has an open kitchen, and there are many dining options nearby. The only downsides were that the supermarket in Thaiwoo Town is small and a bit pricey, and the hotel breakfast was truly subpar... With so many people, they couldn't keep up, and you basically had to get lucky to grab a bowl of noodles. The underground parking was a bit difficult to access, but it didn't really affect our stay. Overall, I was quite satisfied, but I think I'd try a different hotel next time.
I’ve been staying here for two nights, and the hotel building itself has a unique style, resembling a castle from the outside. The room is clean, and the staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it’s been a comfortable experience.

Pros: The location is excellent, with a lively area right outside. There's a pedestrian street downstairs, and MixC City is just an 8-10 minute walk away, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
The building has an underground parking lot. While it can get busy, finding a parking spot is relatively easy. The hotel front desk is on the 31st floor, but a dedicated elevator makes access very convenient.
There's a laundry room and a gym; I used both and found them to be fully functional and well-maintained, not just for show.
The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the quality and taste are great, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals.
The service staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly. Any issues were promptly addressed.
Cons: The hotel might be a bit older, and some facilities are showing their age. For example, the air conditioning wasn't very effective – it was hard to control and would inconsistently blow hot or cold.
Overall: I'm very satisfied. It offers good value for money and is highly recommended.
I forgot to take any photos, but the actual condition perfectly matches the pictures online, so I'll just use a few placeholders.

The hotel itself is decent, but definitely not a 4-star. It feels more like a 3-star budget hotel at best. The hygiene was okay, though I did find some dead bugs by the bed.
Breakfast at Fengwei downstairs was quite extensive, but if you go late, seating can be tight. It's best to get there before 8:30 AM.
Since it's primarily geared towards the ski season, the air conditioning and ventilation aren't great when it's not very cold. The worst part, though, is the soundproofing! I could hear everything from the hallway, next door, and people talking upstairs and downstairs crystal clear. I couldn't get to sleep until past 3 AM, and the resulting insomnia ruined my energy for the next day's activities. Most of the surrounding hotels seem to have similar architecture, so I imagine there isn't much difference between them. Unless you're here specifically for skiing, if you're just visiting Thaiwoo Town, I'd recommend staying outside the resort so you can get a good night's sleep.
The room size and orientation are very good, the balcony with lake view has a nice view, sunny and lucky provided good service throughout the whole process, responded to our needs very promptly, and gave good reviews for the service. There are not many tourists on weekdays, and the low density is very suitable for family travel

AAnonymous UserI would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!
GGuest UserSimilar - perfect - review for the other booking we made for September. As mentioned, friendly owner upgraded us to the suite (3 rooms + living room + kitchen) for 2 nights, then we went to the rooms we had booked initially, as another family had booked the suite. Photos are of 1 of the rooms in the suite, with attached garden, but upstairs isn't too different (4 rooms, all brand-new). Everything is very clean, as advertised. Owners do speak some English, so no problem communicating (anyway, my wife, daughters and sister-in-law speak Chinese so it wouldn't have been a problem). Owner also arranged for a car to bring us to the various entrances, and the train station the last day, so it was all very smooth, we only had to climb the Great Wall, which was gorgeous (we knew Jinshanling is one of the most beautiful sections). We look forward to coming back, at a different time of the year (end of winter or end of autumn), so we look forward to coming back again... and tasting your cooking too ! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable !!!
GGuest UserLocation: Relatively superior. There is a river in front of the hotel, which is said to be the mother river of Chengde. It is very beautiful to take a walk at night and enjoy the night view. It's easy to walk to the summer resort. There is a supermarket next to it and a restaurant in the hotel. I eat three meals a day in the hotel. The dishes are rich and the prices are acceptable. I highly recommend it.
Service: The smiling service at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The Chengde travel guide was clearly explained. If you don’t know the guide, just ask them directly. I told them the wifi password and phone number, and if I have anything to talk to the front desk.
Room: Very clean, the quilt smells like sunshine, the bed is comfortable, I slept until dawn
Parking: There is a parking lot and a responsible security guard.
Environment: The hall is very elegant, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It is really good to listen to piano music in the lounge hall.
Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children.
While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff.
First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation!
And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service!
Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!

GGuest UserThis place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!
BBrettschneiderExcellent place to stay for a weekend getaway to the coutryside but not super far from BJ. It is located right in the exit of Xianghe west of 7th capital ring express. It only takes 50 minutes to drive from sanlitun in beijing. When I first enter the courtyard,I was so amazed by the nice cosy small courtyard which makes you feel at home. All rooms are cosy and comfortable, located on the ground floor around the small garden with flowers. Each room has air conditioning. The bathroom is clean with shower and towel. There is a washing machine in the living room as well. Everything is super clean, the owner quickly responds if something is needed. Overall the day passed in a pleasant atmosphere :) I will certainly book again next time.BTW,there is a barbecue grill I will try :) If you are specifically looking for such a place quiet and quaint. Absolutely recommendable!
IIionchickenThe room is clean and well-planned, perfect for a family of five. The owner is very friendly. We arrived 2 hours early and left 1 hour late without any extra charge.
The indoor kitchen, laundry and other facilities are complete, which can meet the needs of guests who cook their own food.
The underground parking space is free.
The hotel can have breakfast, 98 yuan per person. In fact, it is more cost-effective to buy meals from the supermarket in advance and eat them in the room.
PPato LuI stayed at Yushe Hotel for two nights during my visit to Zhangjiakou and had a comfortable experience overall. The room was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself is in a convenient and accessible location, making it easy to get around the city.
However, one downside is that there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance, so dining options nearby are quite limited. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend either ordering delivery or being prepared to travel a bit for meals.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you prioritize cleanliness and location, but keep the limited nearby food options in mind.

VValentin VagabondThis is a nice and clean hotel close to restaurants and shops, and they accepted me as a foreigner without a problem.
But it was the very first time on my two year long bicycle journey that I had to leave my bicycle outside the hotel in a car park. I know that China is a safe country, because there are security cameras everywhere, but if something happens to my bike, it might be the end of my journey.
The other disturbing thing was that the staff was talking very loud in the corridor at 6.30 am and I couldn't get enough sleep. Please keep in mind that people want to rest and sleep .You can talk to each other in a more polite way.
