A Budget-Friendly Seaside Gem: Giranchy Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao
My stay at Giranchy Sea View Hotel in Qinhuangdao’s Gold Coast was a delightful surprise—especially for travelers seeking unbeatable ocean views without breaking the bank. This hotel nails the core of a great seaside getaway: prime location, satisfying views, and thoughtful touches that make the trip smooth.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location—the biggest highlight. Tucked in the heart of Gold Coast at the intersection of Yijing Road and Siwei Road , it’s just a short walk across the street to the golden beach. I timed it once, and it took only 5 minutes to sink my feet into the soft sand . No long drives or shuttle waits—perfect for spontaneous morning dips or evening sunset strolls.
The sea view experience is exactly what you’d hope for. Every room comes with a large viewing balcony , and the east-facing orientation means unobstructed sunrise views. Waking up, pulling back the curtains, and watching the sun paint the Bohai Sea pink while still in bed? Pure magic. At night, the sound of waves becomes a natural lullaby—total relaxation.
The hotel’s little perks add up too. They offer free bicycle rentals, which let me cruise along the coastline and soak in the sea breeze . Pet owners will love that it’s pet-friendly, so you don’t have to leave your furry friend behind. There’s also free private parking , a big plus if you’re driving. The Chinese-style buffet breakfast (served 7:00-10:00 ) hits the spot, and kids under 1.2m eat free—great for families.
The only minor downside is the decor, which feels a bit outdated , but it’s easily overlooked for the value. The rooms are clean, with essential amenities like cable TV, showers, slippers, and toiletries , so comfort isn’t compromised.
For a 100+ yuan price point , Giranchy Sea View Hotel delivers far more than expected. If you’re after convenience, stunning sunrises, and a laid-back coastal vibe in Qinhuangdao, this is a no-brainer. I’d absolutely book again!

This was without question one of the most beautiful and memorable stays I have ever experienced.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail were exceptional throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere and heartfelt, which made the experience even more special.
The property itself is stunning. Surrounded by mountains and nature, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a true escape from everyday life. The infinity pool was absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Swimming while overlooking the mountains felt like something from a dream.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had clearly been carefully considered, and the views from the room were spectacular.
The breakfast and afternoon tea were another highlight. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and presented with great care. More importantly, you could feel the effort and hospitality behind every meal. It wasn’t just food—it was an experience that reflected the passion and dedication of the team.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt cared for and at home.
I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this place is truly special. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, tranquility, exceptional service, and a memorable experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning in the future.

A Great Seaside Retreat at East beach Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe
My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway.
Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive.
The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience.
What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones.
If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!

TiannaigaoqieyuanThe room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The decor had a distinctly Chinese aesthetic, and the murals, which complemented the scenery, were visually striking. The balcony overlooked the coast, and since the hotel building is quite tall, the cluttered parts of the view were minimal, offering a panoramic view of the beach and sea.

PauOHanlonI believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed.
We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive.
In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace.
The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection.
I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

The B&B is small but feels cozy everywhere. The owner is very kind; they specially drove us to the Jinshanling Great Wall entrance in the morning, even though it's only a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. I've been to several sections of the Great Wall, and I've always wished to stay in a hotel where I could see it! Today, that wish finally came true. You can see the Great Wall from the third floor of the B&B! Very comfortable.

The restaurant downstairs was not good, small portions and expensive! (Even though it has nothing to do with the accommodation, I still have to mention it.)
Facilities: Too old and many things were broken. Plus, there was no main light. It was raining the day we arrived, and the room was so dim it was incredibly depressing!
Hygiene: Very clean, even the toilet paper dispenser was sparkling clean, not a single fingerprint!
Environment: Very good, a hotel on the reefs. You can go beachcombing and enjoy the sea just by going downstairs~

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section.
This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport).
The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

Guest UserThe hotel experience was great – it felt safe, clean, and the service was excellent. There's a security guard in the parking lot who is very responsible, and the staff in the lobby are attentive and warm. The room was truly spotless. The millet porridge for breakfast tasted just like homemade – fragrant, thick, with a nice layer of 'rice oil' on top. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.
