Pet-friendly Hotels in Hunan, China

The hotel still picked us up from Furongzhen Railway Station and drove us to the scenic area even though I had already changed trains twice that day and made it terribly confusing for them to know what time I'd arrive. The scenic area required a small entry fee and ticket. They walked us to the hotel and helped us check in. The town is absolutely stunning and the photos attached are only photos I took from near our hotel. You can walk to the Waterfall in a few minutes. The hotel room itself was spacious and clean with nearly everything made out of wood giving it a very unique vibe. The morning breakfast was very basic but fine. I recommend everyone to stay one night at Furongzhen if you're going to Zhangjiajie, arrive at night and leave in the morning as the lights turn off at around 12am.

Right at the entrance of fenghuang. Very convenient for luggage handling as car arrives right at doorstep. Theres no didi in fenghuang but hotel contacted to assist to arrange for transport from train station for fee charged by driver. Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. There are no lifts but they assisted in carrying our big luggages up. Room is big and clean, excellent view. Overall a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Hetianwan Inn a lot. The staff was super nice and helpful. We got free water everyday when we left or came back to the hotel. The staff was able to answer all our questions regarding how to get to the Nationalpark, the hikes etc. We asked for restaurant recommendations and were even guided to the restaurant by them.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and Christina at the front desk truly stood out. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and always had a warm smile, making my stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised that the room looked exactly like it did in the pictures! It was priceless waking up to these views in the morning. The hotel itself is surrounded by the mountains and there are views from the dining room as well. There is also a tea room where the staff will introduce and brew tea with you for free, and a massage service (outside of the hotel) that they can book for guests. The staff helped to arrange free transport to and from Wulingyuan Entrance, on the days that we wanted to explore the forest. They also helped to book our park tickets, and explained in detai the recommended sightseeing routes. They were extremely responsive and helpful! Breakfast was lovely - there was a selection of breads and pastries, fruits, traditional chinese dumplings, porridge, eggs, and more. The perfect fuel for exploring the forest nearby. Dinner was homestyle cooking, however do note that food may take slightly longer to come during the low season, as there are fewer kitchen staff during that period. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at Foggy Valley. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind after exploring Zhang Jia Jie Forest Park, I would highly recommend this hotel!

The owner is so welcoming and friendly! There's free parking, and the lobby offers self-service snacks and drinks, plus my favorite ice cream 🍦. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the rooftop lights at night are really cool. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The 'wood barrel fish' across the street is incredibly tasty and tender! The room rate was also very reasonable, and it's located right inside the scenic area, so the location is perfect! Definitely a worthwhile trip!

Staying at the Days Inn Wyndham Yuelu was a truly satisfying experience. The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom features a dry and wet separation design, which is not only spacious and clean but also very convenient to use. The smart home system throughout the room is fantastic; you can control the lights and curtains with voice commands or a single touch, adding a great high-tech feel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

Hilton Garden Inn is a must-visit hotel in every city, thanks to pet-friendly hotels! Very quiet, slept very well! Parking is convenient and breakfast is rich. 【Free to be You】24-hour self-service bar: Packing a cup of coffee before departure to refresh yourself on the road is also a must.

Our family stayed 2 adult and 2 children in their 5th floor room. Spacious with great view of the river and part of the ancient town. Area is not noisy and far from clubs and bars from the other side of the town. Walking distance from main attraction. Room is clean and tidy with great water pressure. Our host is very friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. They provide 1 set of traditional costume and you can rent costumes for the rest of the family with minimal charge. It became one of the highlights of our trip. They even helped us get taxi back to the highspeed rail. I definitely recommend this homestay. 😊

The restaurant offers healthy and hygienic food with a wide variety of choices. The service was attentive and thoughtful; since we were on vacation, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff proactively helped us plan our itinerary, making everything from dining to accommodation and transportation very convenient.
