The hotel is right by the sea, a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the train station. They have sea-view rooms with nice scenery. There were also a few complimentary drinks in the fridge. The room was clean and tidy, so overall, it's pretty good.

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

Hi, as we were leaving the hotel today I mentioned the cost of our stay was £193.50 for a one night stay with a continental breakfast! There was no kitchen facilities to offer a cooked breakfast or food. I feel this is soo expensive, your sight had no mention of the kitchen being closed or the replacement of a cooked breakfast with a basic continental option. I also mentioned the room 208 was tatty with stains on the carpet, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. It was mentioned that because Everton were playing at home that’s why the cost went up!! I understand economics but to increase the cost by nearly £120 is ridiculous. We have stayed at the Aloft on a number of occasions but feel we won’t be returning in a hurry. Can you please look into my comments. I would appreciate some form of refund or compensation. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate and the location was great. The room and bathroom were tired and old.

my wife and I had a very enjoyable weekend break at Ropewalks. the hotel was centrally located, which suited us as we were away without kids and wanted to make the most of that. breakfast was your standard fare, but there was a chef cooking to order. the service staff at breakfast were excellent. would recommend for a boozy city break. thr hotel is neat to a lot of late bars and night clubs which was noisy and may be an issue for some travelers.

Wonderful location. Very nice reception area and bar. Comfortable bed and pillows. Short of a few niceties eg Shower cap / free bottled water / no fridge in the room. Didn’t have a breakfast so can’t comment on that. Suited our requirements for a two night shopping trip and the central location made up for all minor disappointments.

It was lovely being in Liverpool it’s a nice place and the hotel too buh some delay on house keeping and I didn’t like where my room was located,they should give a chance of opting a preference..

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ibis Styles Liverpool, and a huge part of that was thanks to Fayne, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. We arrived four hours before check-in to drop off our luggage, but Fayne kindly checked us in early—completely free of charge. This thoughtful gesture made such a difference after a long journey. On the day we checked out, she allowed us to store our luggage for longer so we could explore the city until our train time. When we returned to collect it, Fayne even offered us complimentary tea and coffee, which was such a kind and welcoming touch. The hotel itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable, but the staff, especially Fayne, truly made our stay memorable. Her warmth and helpfulness set a high standard for hospitality. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool!

We arrived at the hotel after 10pm having drove from London, it was my seven year old daughter and I. On check in we weren’t given any sort of induction and just given our room key. Our room was spacious, but had a few carpet stains and smelled musty. We had asked for a quiet room but was placed next to a conference room on a main thoroughfare. We also had a courtyard at the back of our room with people drinking and smoking of an evening. We had to ask for a pass for the pool which wasn’t provided at check in. Breakfast was okay but not as good as The Holiday Inn and other than Tony the staff were miserable. On checking out I spoke to the manager about the noisey room and he offered a free nights stay. I worked at the hotel 1998-2001 and it has been upgraded since and is fairly nice. However noisey rooms is the main issue.

This hotel is located in ”Wangfujing”, in the city center, and it is very convenient to go anywhere, except the stadium, which is 4 kilometers away from the hotel. We don't know much about football and it is not very attractive, so we didn't go to the stadium. Other places such as the pier are 7 minutes walk, and the Beatles Cave Bar is 4 minutes. The location is very good. The hotel does not have breakfast, but provides free coffee and bread. It is also close to the long-distance bus station. We arrived in less than 10 minutes with our luggage. I highly recommend this hotel
