Hands down the hotel with the best service!! The staff are extremely friendly and give their best to enhance my holiday experience. There was a ”housekeeper” who will get in touch with you upon receiving your booking, and you can ask ANY question that you have. It was my first time travelling to China and having such approachable staff really really helped calm my nerves. She also helped me by recommending activities, fantastic restaurants, day itineraries, and even helped with the purchase of attraction tickets. From my knowledge, they did not profit from the tickets. Having travelled to many countries, I must say that this is the first time I have experienced such a level of excellent service from an accommodation. The rooms are also superb. Clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the waters. Location is excellent as it is WALKING DISTANCE to the national park entrance. If you need any help at anywhere at any point of time, the staff is just 1 message away through WeChat, or you could go downstairs to the counter. But please be advised to take a DiDi taxi directly from the railway station/airport wherever you are coming from in order to maximize accessibility with your luggages. Just like other reviews said, the hotel is not the most accessible by walking if you are carrying heavy luggages. And come on... the taxi should be affordable enough even for just a 5min ride!! This small inconvenience can be easily overcome! Note for all. DiDi is not available in Furong and Fenghuang. Wonderful hotel! The most important thing for us was the location — it’s right next to the funicular, which was very convenient. I especially want to highlight the front desk staff: everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to the young woman who helped us with breakfast for our child, called a taxi, walked us to the car, and even gave a toy to our child — it was incredibly kind and touching! Unfortunately, I didn’t ask her name, but I’d like to express my deep gratitude for her care and attention. Overall, the entire staff left a great impression. The rooms are clean, cozy, and have everything you need, except for bathrobes. Breakfasts were excellent — a wide variety of dishes to suit any taste, and finally, during this trip around China, we found real European cuisine! We had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very close to the zhangjiajie east gate. However, walking across the stream is not doable when the water level of the stream is high. Room is spacious and clean and the toilet bowl is well equipped with cleaning “gadgets”, good for travellers in need to clean body.. staff are young and need to be more communicable with foreigners but generally a good service throughout..thank you for the stay at a place which I think is absolutely wonderful

Location is very strategic in town, very close to tianmen cable way, & many restaurants around it. The staffs were the best, very helpful eventho they can’t speak English they tried the best to help. They even help me booked a car to go to the glass bridge & tianmen so I can make it in a day. There’s a travel agent also next to it so you can ask information & buy ticket from there. The facility was best, from breakfast to room, they even upgraded my room to the best one. Thank you!

This is a wonderful hotel. Good location. Not far from the cable car station. Despite the fact that the hotel does not have breakfast, there are many cafes nearby that work early. There is a bus stop nearby. It was a little cool but I still recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by an employee at the counter named Meesa. She went above and beyond to assist us, offering great restaurant recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed, including providing water during our multi-night stay. Her dedication and genuine care for guests truly reflect the high standards of hospitality that every hotel should strive for. Meesa is an excellent example of service-minded professionalism, and her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and applaud the team for their commitment to great service. I had a pleasant stay overall, but there was an issue on the first night that affected my experience. My sleep was disrupted due to a strong smell of smoke coming from another room, which somehow entered my room. This was disappointing as it impacted my comfort during the stay.

The location is soo strategic like you are close to everywhere especially the tianmenshan. It is just right behind the hotel. If u arrived at afternoon and stay for at least 2 nights, u can go to 72 wonders town and make sure ur leg is fit haha because u need to move around to catch bunch of performances at some spots at the area. The show is not really my cup of tea but it was worth for the first timer u should try. And then, The tianmenshan view is beautiful especially if u went at the right weather. We got a quite foggy and cloudy. The hotel located at 10th and 11th building of this AAlogo building (see the picts below). The room is spacious and with toilet and shower separated as requested. Food stalls are everywhere. Hallal food probably should be asked for. Lastly, thank you so much Tianmen area!

Love to stay at Ramada by Wyndham Changsha Downtown hotel, good breakfast, excellent location easy to access near metro station, shopping malls and food court eateries. The 24hours self service laundry really is superb for my family and me. No.8 staff, receptionist, supervisor and the cleaning ladies are all very nice, polite and helpful. Thank you so much.

Strategic location - only 2 mins away from the 黄兴步行街. Excellent service - I arrived earlier than the check-in time and they have managed in order for me to check in earlier. Great effort. Prompt response - They will ask you to add their WeChat. Anything you need could send a message through WeChat and a reasonably fast response. Cleanliness - Clean, they will clean your room everyday even though we were staying for 3 nights. Trash was also taken care of. Amenities were also refurbished. Wonderful Hospitality - they offered a check out souvenirs and ask if we need anything on our way to the railway station. Definitely worth your money.

The location of Meiyi Light was perfect, easy taxi ride from Airport. The main shopping street, Jiefang Rd was just round the corner. There were many restaurants, super markets and shopping malls. We especially liked a restaurant just round the corner (Jiefang Rd.) for meals or just a beer, and have added a photo of this. It was possible to walk to the cable car station straight down Yingbin Rd, about 15 mins from the hotel, but taxis only cost about £1. There were some beautiful views of the City and River on the way. The room was spacious, with a beautiful view of a hilly park. Hotel Staff were exremely nice and helpful.

Really convenient location! About a 5mins walk to the entrance of wulingyuan, the owner(?) was really friendly and helped booked all our tickets (even to the romance park) at a cheaper price and even helped plan our route. Theres a minimart across the street and the night market downstairs its really worth it. The rooms are also very big and comfortable. And even have laundry that you do yourselves and they help hang while you are out. I really enjoyed my stay here and will recommend this always!! I

The room is spacious, cozy and the bathrooms also clean with amenities, we love our room very much . Unfortunately the elevator and the Ailey were not too clean . We stayed for 3 nights but they only change our bed sheets once. They provided free breakfast , it was noodle soup and we may choose the beverages tea or coffee.The noodle soup taste was so yummy and they also provided plain bun, eggs, kinds of pickles which we love it very much. The owner offered us the entrance ticket to The National Park which more cheaper price than online . He also recommended us to ride their family cab with more cheaper price to the Glass Bridge. On the last day of our staying, the female staff gave us free gift, it was special tea From Wulingyuan. We love Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie . hopefully we have a good chance to come back

Easy to find. Great location. Near to various shopping and eateria. They also upgraded our room for free. The room is very clean and nice view. The service from the counter/information also very good. Breakfast also good. They also provide free luggage delivery to the airport. We regreat that we didn't book for more nights till the day departing to the airport.

A very nice, calm, spacy and comfortable room in a very good location by Xiang river, however, a bit difficult to find. Walking distance to a metro station. Good public communication to some of the city's major attractions. Highly recommended!

Love this place. Everything is within walking distance. There are a lot of food options around the area. Hotel is clean with robot service at your finger tip. There is also laundry room and gym. Access to the lift and room is via access card so it is quite safe.

Hotel itself was warm, comfortable and very pleasant. Room was well stocked with essentials. Hotel staff called Trip after I left accusing me of stealing a wooden spoon from the room, which put a real downer on everything. Apart from that, the experience was largely positive. Would probably stay there again.

Free pick up service very useful for my mum who has difficulty in walking. Check in is a breeze. Breakfast is the awesome with a mix of local and western fare. The housekeeping made an extra step to wash a pair of my socks.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights during our first trip to Changsha and the experience was unforgettable. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. The reception helped us upgrade the room for free. The Concierge Supervisor Nolan Zhou was very helpful and helped us carry the luggage to the room. The cleaning ladies tidied up the room in a meticulous way everyday. The room was very spacious, clean, well-appointed, and equipped with a very large bathroom.

It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

Very convenient location for Changsha South Railway. Room clean and spacious. Laundry facilities and gym on 15th floor. However, I was shocked at the lack of sound proofing between rooms. As someone who had chosen the hotel as I had an early train the next morning, I was continually woken up through the night by other guests returning. You can even hear fellow guests turning on / off their light switches in the neighbouring rooms…

The Xuanyuan was terrific. The young girl operating it was such a cutie and made us feel so welcome. She let us know in advance we would be collected from the railway station and got us into our room as soon as possible. I am sorry I didn’t get her name but she went out of her way. The room was on the top floor with balcony, has all the modern appliances and fittings, ducted air conditioning and good shower. In departure we were supplied with a terrific home made Chinese breakfast. The b&b was situated just outside the entrance to the old town which was great.

Beautiful view, room was very clean and spacious and the hotel staff service was great. Train stations drop offs and pick ups were included which made it extra convenient.

Owners are very kind, friendly and ready to help you. I added their wechat once booked. They will pick up us which the place under 3 choices. and he help us take the luggages to hotel, that is not far from oldtown entrance. The location is very good. Not loud and fuss. Very quite to rest and relax. The front view is so amazing. You can walk around 10-15 minutes to downtown. Owner provide e-map to you. You can left luggages once checked out and walk around old town. Then once you will go to railways, they will help you take the luggages to the old town entrance.

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

Our stay at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The room was uniquely designed, immaculately clean, and offered a breathtaking view of Furong ancient city. The hotel's location within the ancient city walls and the convenient pickup service made our trip planning seamless. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and enchanting experience.

We had a big room with a very big bed. The bathroom was big with a self-flushing toilet and toilet seat warmer! One wall of the room was just glass so we had a good view out, over some old roofs and windows, and a far view of lovely builidings on a hill. We had a long and narrow balcony with a view of the river, pagoda and bridges. Right below was the bustling street scene near the Hong Qiaio (Rainbow Bridge). The balcony has a couple of hanging bubble seats and even a small table and chairs. Just perfect for viewing the amazing night scenery and people-watch. (Based on an earlier review, we knew the noise stopped at 11.30pm so we had good nights' sleep). We were very comfortable and happy with our room. It was just a short walk from the shops outside the Ancient Town, so we could enjoy both sides of Feng Huang. The entrance to the hostel is hidden behind a costume rental shop, so it's a little tricky to find. The hostel also has a water dispenser for filling up water bottles. All I can say is the location is just the best for watching the comings and goings in the streets, with easy access for walking along the riverside, pagoda, bridges, viewing the performances on the river...yet near enough to pop into our comfy room to recharge.

Good comfortable hotel in Fenghuang. It was in a great location because it was just far enough away from the river to not hear the loud noises at night from the nightclubs, but close enough that we could step outside and immediately be in the old city. The beds were comfortable and the staff were happy to provide extra pillows and bottles of water upon request. A very nice stay.

All excellent in terms of service, from pick up at train station to hotel, especially the 2 pretty young ladies helping us to carry our heavy luggages to the hotel, really appreciate! :) The view from this room is FANTASTIC!! 👍 Just a feedback: will be good to have frosted film on the shower & toilet glass doors instead of all see through glass doors... 😅 Thank you for the enjoyable stay at Furong Zhen

The hotel was excellent. Spent 3 days 2 nights there. Although Furong Ancient City/Town can be covered in 1 day, fortunately the service and cleanliness of the hotel made it comfortable for us to spend two nights in a pleasant and relaxing manner. The receptionist and bell “lady” were excellent and made great arrangements for us just like a 6 star hotel . The drivers who drove us to Rainbow bridge and also to the Fenghuangguchen station were also excellent. Hotel restaurant was great

We contacted the hotel a few weeks prior to arrange for a pick up at the fenghuanggucheng train station. They picked us up from the train station for free. As soon as we arrive, the boss greeted us and the staff helped bring our luggage to our room. We were also shown different rooms when we arrived, and they upgraded us to their suite room free of charge. The staff are always nice , smiling and helpful. Great location, hotel located away from the major noise but right in the action. We have been travelling around the Philippines, South Korea and China and decided to stay in Fenghuang old town for two nights, and we are grateful that we got some much needed rest. There's a few cheap breakfast options around the hotel. Highly recommended hotel, we would stay here again the next time we come back to Fenghuang old town!
