The room was wooden and quite nice. I stayed in a king-size room. The front desk staff didn't speak Chinese, but their English was passable. The only downside was that the codename was a bit deceptive. Facilities: A bit dated, but acceptable.

*********** is an excellent platform for booking accommodations and travel arrangements of all kinds. I’m very impressed with how user-friendly the website is and the wide variety of options available. From luxury hotels and resorts to apartments and private homes, there’s something for everyone. The filters make it easy to find the perfect place based on budget, location, or specific amenities. What I particularly love is the transparency of information, including genuine reviews from other guests, clear pricing, and no hidden fees. Additionally, their customer service is quick and responsive if you have any issues or questions regarding your booking

The hotel did not live up to the expectations from what I saw online. The room was clean, but the shower floors the floor of the bathroom and the room had a faint smell of possibly cigarettes or mildew. I was looking forward to using the pool, especially after seeing the videos, but the water was green and murky, so I didn’t go in. There’s a restaurant on the 8th floor with a view, but it was closed the few times I went up, and when I finally found it open I went up to take photos but there were signs that said I would be charged 100,000 Kip if I came in and didn’t order anything. I’m not sure if this rule applies to hotel guests, but it didn’t specify. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and kind. They let us check out an hour late past our late 2pm check out because our train was leaving after 4. That was very accommodating of them. If the hotel had been rated 3 stars, I probably wouldn’t have any complaints other than the pool since the cost to stay there was low. If you’re looking for a solid, reasonably priced 2-3 star hotel, I would recommend it. If you’re looking want something nicer, try another hotel.

At first, I thought the room was too small. The price was not cheap, but the facilities were only comparable to those of a domestic hotel, and there was a bit of a musty smell. However, after comparing the surrounding area, I found it to be one of the better hotels in Vangrong. The mountain view rooms offer views of hot air balloons and paramotors every morning and evening, and you can watch the sunrise from the rooftop in the morning. The location is also quite convenient, and the pool is relatively clean. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is good, you can overlook the green mountains and green waters from the window. I stayed in room 303 of Wanrong Memory Hotel on the afternoon of October 3, twin room (including breakfast), Trip.com to the store to pay 182 yuan. The door lock is bad and can't be locked from the inside and outside. There is no hanger in the room. The bottled water given is a 250ml bottle, but there is a drink cabinet in the lobby and there is a small supermarket outside the hotel yard. The front desk clerk does not speak Chinese and can speak English to them. Because the door lock was bad, 15:16 went downstairs to the door to deliberately lean a basket of slippers (it seems not by the door when I came back, and a pack of clothes in my backpack was placed on the table). On the morning of October 4, I went downstairs and returned the room card. There was a female clerk at the front desk who could speak English and not Lao. She chased me to pay (not agree to deduct the deposit from Trip.com ), but I didn’t have enough old coins. She calculated at the 1:2800 exchange rate that 200 yuan was equal to 560,000 kip. She didn’t plan to refund my price difference. Seeing that she didn't mean to change, I didn't bother to argue with her and left.

The room was a bit old but overall spacious and clean. We occasionally saw small ants, which is probably unavoidable. The location was very convenient, right on the main street. For breakfast, they offered freshly made omelets and fried eggs, and the omelets were delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and found it to be great value for money. The water quality in Laos felt even worse than in Phuket, so if you can, bring a filtered shower head.

Bungalow hotel in a very quiet location because it is across the river from the city. It was very good that there were many travelers who were relaxing. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the night market in Bambien. All the staff were kind and helpful. I want to repeat.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of them could speak Chinese, which was a big plus. Breakfast was also delicious. The only downside was that the pool water looked like it hadn't been cleaned, so we couldn't swim. This might have been because it had just rained that day. Overall, I would still highly recommend this place. Just a heads-up, the central bar plays music at night, and while the soundproofing in the rooms is decent, light sleepers might find it a bit bothersome.

The hotel is located 2.7 km from Vang Vieng High-Speed Rail Station, and they offer a pickup service. The surroundings are pleasant, breakfast is included, and the service is warm and attentive, providing excellent value for money. It felt very homely, relaxed, and secure, creating a truly comfortable atmosphere. On the left side of the road leading towards the high-speed rail station, you'll find a local BBQ joint. Their grilled lamb with Lao beer offers authentic local flavors and is both inexpensive and delicious.

GGuest UserIt could been better if TV and WiFi working well As soon as check in aircorn was leaking and rain shower not working properly but they fixed it right away. Before check in should someone inspect room ? Provide all amenities that really not necessary instead should have soap holder in bath room. Location seen abit far from center at first yet after walk around that walkable distance to night walking street and restaurants. They got roof top bar good view to enjoy.

RRyanShanghaiNot really what we expect from a 4 star hotel. The floor in our room was dirty and the bathroom also could’ve done with a clean. The beds were clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the cleaning service is not up to scratch. The location is good because it is near to the main area. The price per night is low which is good but still for a 4 star I would expect the floors and shower to be clean.

YYollandiLet me tell you, this hotel deserves to pay its staff triple! Khamla truly went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay, and her kindness left me speechless. Honestly, when I first arrived, I thought, “Oh no, I’m canceling my booking right now.” But thankfully, they let me see the room before check-in and even offered a full refund if I wasn’t satisfied. In the end, I decided to stay for the two nights since I figured it would be okay. Now, I won’t lie—the exterior of the hotel looks a bit worn, but don’t let that fool you! Inside, it’s spotless and conveniently located near a plethora of restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. I booked an exhilarating hot air balloon ride for $120 through the hotel for the next day, and it was absolutely unforgettable. I also had my heart set on visiting the Nahm Xai viewpoint but didn’t want to venture out alone. The staff went out of their way to help me find an English-speaking tour guide, and when that didn’t pan out, Khamla from the front desk stepped in. She graciously offered to be my guide on her day off! She hiked with me up to the viewpoint, snapped photos, and made sure I was safe and sound every step of the way. In the end, I couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay. The service here is truly top tier, making this hotel experience one I won’t forget!

KkdreidgeThis hotel felt quite run down. We arrived to the lobby with two old mattresses leaning against the wall. The room was big and had lovely views, however, the door had cracks in it that you could see through to the hallway and hear everything going on outside the room. The bathroom is in need of desperate repair. The AC roared loudly on and off all night, the metal from the AC rattled the windows. The sheets did not fully cover the mattress (just a loose sheet on top of the bare mattress, so in the night I found myself touching the old mattress with my hand). White duvet had stains. Pool was really nice with river views, definitely the highlight of our stay. We went elsewhere for breakfast after seeing what was offered. Staff were helpful in booking a tuk tuk and storing our luggage for the day.

Jjons02Great Value with Excellent Service & Prime Location The room was clean and comfortable for the price—definitely not a luxury hotel, but the service felt luxurious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the receptionist went above and beyond to help, even arranging a tuk-tuk for me to the railway station at checkout. One of the best perks was the convenience—the hotel offers bike and scooter rentals, as well as a variety of day tours. Whether you're interested in paramotoring, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, hiking, or exploring caves and lagoons, they’ve got you covered. If you’d rather book elsewhere, the location is perfect, with plenty of tour operators right next door. The area is packed with different restaurants, and my personal favorite, the night market, was just steps away. There are also several laundry services nearby, making longer stays hassle-free. The only downside was noise—the walls and doors are a bit thin, so you might hear doors closing or noisy neighbors. My room was on the first floor (right side), so if you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a quieter spot away from high-traffic areas. Overall, a fantastic stay for the price, with outstanding service and an unbeatable location! ps. You can also enjoy a quick swim by the pool before going to your room!

GGuest UserExcellent location- few steps to 7-11, mini mart and ATM; plenty of cafes and local food shops along the same street, 5 min to night market. Great breakfast- 5 types of fruits and decent portions of eggs breakfast to choose from. Coffee, tea, juice available during breakfast time. Reception- helpful, English speaking staffs Cleanliness- considered very good, washroom and shower room are clean and not wet. Vibe- mostly teenagers to westerners aged 20’s, who seem get along and enjoy spending time at lobby area during evening till late Downsides 1)AC off from 10am to 6pm; renovation of swimming pool started from 8am and it’s hard to chill or relax at lobby area during my 2 days stay. 2)Sleep- my room is the nearest to lobby area, the guests were loud talking, laughing the whole night till 2am + on my first night( I couldn’t fall asleep at all) the 2nd night karaoke and music bombarded from 9pm to 11pm, thereafter guests continued talking and laughing loud till late. Perhaps earplugs and eye mask could help with coping the downsides, given the overall consideration, it’s not bad for a quick night stay.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay here. The pool was well kept and a nice way to cool off from the incredible heat! The breakfast was good, with the exception of one day when there was a huge group that cleaned it all out before we arrived and then there wasn't anything left for us (not the property's fault). Our room was nice, and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, even renting us a scooter for a day. It was about a 20 minute walk from the center of town, which was okay for us.
