GGuest UserThis is our third year celebrating Chinese New Year at the Sheraton Guan. Overall, it's pretty good; the room and dining services are excellent. Just a heads-up for anyone visiting in winter: avoid rooms facing south. They get incredibly hot. The hotel's central AC only blows hot air, and with the direct sunlight, the room becomes unbearable for sleeping. To make matters worse, the windows only open a tiny crack – it was truly a struggle!

AAnonymous UserSpent 3 nights at this hotel during the holiday season and highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located right at the beach which I believe is called Golden Beach. It is very peaceful and the rooms are well kept. The hotel workers are also very kind and helpful, they recommended some good restaurants around the neighborhood. I really had a good time at this hotel.

HHansOlivierWe stayed in the Premier Balcony Seaview King Room and the sea view was really beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze. The weather was perfect, not too cold for mosquitoes and not too hot to feel sweaty. The room was very clean when we checked in. However, there were occasional sudden whiffs of smoke coming through the vents even though it’s a non-smoking family hotel with signs everywhere. It affected the room quality a bit. We called hotel service and they offered to change our room, but we were too lazy to move so they quickly sent someone to set up an air purifier for us, which was really nice. The breakfast was excellent with so many options from Western to Chinese cuisine. The only downside was the lack of meat choices; we only saw bacon, pork sausages and the meat in the wonton soup. The gym was great and had everything needed for a proper workout. 💪 The pool was packed with kids in the afternoon so we didn’t use it. Overall a very comfortable stay with a fantastic sea view. GGuest UserMy stay at Arcardia Qinhuangdao far exceeded my expectations for a beach vacation, especially the room's view. It was truly the ultimate 'lying down and watching the sea' experience. 🛏️ **Check-in Details & Service Experience** * **Room Amenities**: The bedding and mattress comfort were beyond what I expected, neither too soft nor too hard. I slept incredibly soundly to the sound of the waves at night. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, the water pressure was excellent, and the toiletries had a fresh scent. All the amenities were custom-made by the hotel, showing great attention to detail. * **Service Responsiveness**: Check-in at the front desk was very efficient. The staff proactively informed me about the hotel's pool, beach, and breakfast locations, and their attitude was friendly without being overly formal. When I needed more bottled water, it was delivered within minutes of my call to the front desk. Their response speed was impressive. * **Hotel Facilities**: Just downstairs was the hotel's popular pool area, perfect for photos on a sunny day. A short walk took me to the exclusive beach, which had fine sand and wasn't too crowded. Taking a walk and enjoying the sea breeze in the evening was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast selection was also very rich; I highly recommend the freshly made noodle station and local snacks. I left feeling completely satisfied. 💡 **A Few Tips** * Even on a cloudy day, while you might not get bright, sunny beach photos, the atmosphere is fantastic, and watching the sea from your room has a unique charm. * A room on the 3rd floor in Block 1 was perfectly situated to avoid noise from the pool and grounds. It was especially quiet at night, so light sleepers don't need to worry about being disturbed. Overall, both the view and the experience were outstanding. It's an excellent choice for a vacation in Qinhuangdao, perfect for couples or friends getting together. I'm already looking forward to my next stay!

SSinkershiyiFacilities: As an older hotel, the facilities are indeed quite dated. It's fine if you're looking for a nostalgic experience, but it falls short compared to modern smart hotels. Hygiene: Overall, it was relatively clean, but it felt a bit old and worn as soon as I entered. Environment: The location is quite good, just a short walk to the beach. Many rooms also offer direct sea views. The hotel lobby still has a grand feel. Service: The staff are quite professional, and the service is decent. However, the hotel's amenities themselves aren't great. For example, the complimentary movie viewing is actually in a small, old room with a projector. The main issue is that the internet speed is terrible, making it practically unusable. I'm not sure what the point of this 'perk' is. Transportation: It's fairly convenient, and there are a decent number of parking spaces, though it might be difficult to park during peak season. Food: The breakfast experience was average, nothing memorable. The complimentary late-night snack was quite stingy. It can't even be compared to the late-night porridge at Atour. Value for money: I'd only recommend staying here during the off-season if you want to be close to the beach; I wouldn't highly recommend it at other times.

GGuest UserI wanted to choose a Dujie Family Hotel not far from Shijiazhuang. After looking around, I chose Dongtaihang Dawn Hotel, which is more than two hours’ drive from Shijiazhuang. It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived at the hotel. The environment of the hotel built in the scenic spot is really good. We came here during the National Day. There were very few people in the hotel and we were relatively quiet. There were only two of us in the children's pool. It is worth mentioning that The temperature of the children's heated swimming pool is very high, more than 30 degrees, and my old mother really likes it! In addition, the hotel is only a five-minute walk from the entrance of the East Taihang Scenic Area, and more than ten minutes' drive from the Jingniang Lake Scenic Area. The scenic area has been developed for many years and is very mature. In addition to staying in the hotel, it is well worth a visit with the children. Service: Compared with the well-trained service staff of five-star hotels, this hotel has more local enthusiasm. Before check-in, a housekeeper Xie Yingying was added. She prepared the room in advance very thoughtfully and put the items according to our requirements. The whole hotel During the check-in process, they kept asking me about my requirements, which was very considerate. All in all, this is a resort hotel worth visiting again. I look forward to seeing you again next year! ☺️
