The European castle architecture, nestled against the mountains and overlooking the sea, boasts a magnificent and opulent lobby, and the sea views are absolutely breathtaking. Our stay was perfect, from the visuals to the overall experience. But what truly impressed us the most was the incredibly thoughtful service, especially the front desk agent, Amanda, and the doorman/bellman at the entrance – they deserve special commendation! 🌟 Amanda from the front desk: Professional, gentle, and incredibly meticulous. During check-in, Amanda was all smiles, her attitude both warm and professional, making us feel welcome the moment we walked in. She was patient and efficient, proactively verifying our information and quickly processing the check-in. She meticulously explained our room benefits, hotel facilities (pool, gym, breakfast times), and even offered suggestions for nearby attractions. Her explanations were clear and very considerate. Thoughtful and thorough: After learning about our needs, she proactively helped us upgrade our room, which showed incredible attention to detail. Gentle and patient: Throughout our interaction, her tone was gentle, and she answered all our questions without any hint of perfunctoriness. Her professionalism and approachability were top-notch, making our check-in feel like a special ceremony. 🌟 Doorman/Bellman: Enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable. The doorman/bellman service at the entrance was equally impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of luxury and warmth. Proactive and enthusiastic: As soon as our car pulled up, he immediately came forward with a smile, opened the car door, and helped us with our luggage. He was swift and meticulous, handling everything with care. Humble and polite: He maintained a warm and courteous demeanor throughout, proactively assisting with our spontaneous requests without any hint of neglect. His service awareness was exceptional. GGuest UserI had a sudden business trip to Dalian this time, and after a long and tiring journey, I was so relieved and grateful to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian again. I want to express my sincere thanks to the thoughtful and attentive Lisa. She arranged everything perfectly from start to finish. The hotel is conveniently located on Renmin Road in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get around for business. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a wonderful ambiance; the subtle, healing fragrance instantly washed away the fatigue of my long journey. The quality of this established five-star hotel is truly evident. It's always my first choice for business trips, and this time, I particularly want to commend Lisa. She is incredibly meticulous and reliable. She proactively communicated with me about my check-in preferences, and knowing I was on a business trip, she specifically helped me reserve a quiet room not facing the street, so I wouldn't be disturbed at night or during the day while working. During check-in, she was patient and thorough throughout, making the process quick and efficient. She remembered my invoice details and prepared the invoice for me in advance. Knowing I still had work to deal with during my trip, Lisa frequently checked in on my stay, which was very thoughtful. She would proactively replenish drinking water and toiletries. Lisa not only made excellent arrangements beforehand, but also patiently helped resolve any issues I had during my stay, promptly and with a gentle attitude, never being perfunctory. I was feeling a bit tired and unwell, which is common when traveling for business, and Lisa promptly checked on me and brought hot honey water and fruit. It was truly a lifesaver and made me feel incredibly warm. Thanks to Lisa's attentive arrangements, combined with the hotel's excellent environment and service, my entire stay was exceptionally comfortable and worry-free. My biggest thanks go to Lisa; she considered every detail and was so thoughtful and meticulous, truly putting herself in the guest's shoes. The next time I come to Dalian for business, I will undoubtedly choose Shangri-La Dalian again!

The hotel boasts a new Chinese design style, with elegant and refined layouts that exude a rich classical charm. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character. The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay. The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips. The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and instantly impressive the moment we walked in, with the blue color scheme being a big hit with the kids. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable. What really stood out was the service, especially the front desk staff, employee number 229. She was so understanding, gentle, and enthusiastic—absolutely fantastic! I regret not taking any photos of the hotel. There are many Japanese restaurants downstairs, so if you love Japanese food, you can definitely come here with confidence. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay!

OOlga_CheUnfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

GGuest UserWe chose the Hilton Jinshitan for our kids' spring break, and the location is fantastic. It's within walking distance to Discoveryland, and you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach. If you prefer to stay put, there's plenty of sand for digging right by the hotel. The hotel's own playground and pool kept the kids entertained for hours. It's a great choice for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation.

The hotel environment is comfortable and quiet, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and right downstairs you have the sailboat seascape. The club also has a great view. AAFANGAFANGThis stay was absolutely perfect! I initially booked for one night just to try it out, but after that first night, I extended my stay for three more. The hotel's location is excellent, right in Dalian's city center with convenient transportation. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station following the navigation, but it's not directly facing the station square, so the environment is quite pleasant. The hotel is surrounded by a vibrant commercial district and dining options, with many large shopping malls. Tianjin Street is just a few dozen meters away, and the Lantern Festival celebrations there were so lively during the Chinese New Year. Zhongshan Square is less than a 10-minute walk away. On my first night, I couldn't wait to see Zhongshan Square lit up at dusk – it was freezing in winter, so there weren't many people on the large square, but the light show was incredibly beautiful. Russian Street is also within walking distance. For Dongguan Street and Xi'an Street, they're not far from the hotel, and you can easily get there by taking an old tram. In short, it's convenient to get anywhere from here. Hotel service quality: The main reception is on the 16th floor. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and very friendly. Check-in was quick, and they even upgraded my room – wonderful! I especially want to thank Mr. Wang Tao; he answered all my questions with great patience. It was quite a coincidence that he was the one who assisted me with both check-in and check-out. The hotel is bright and clean, very tasteful, and fully equipped with comfortable bedding and excellent hygiene. The dining options are diverse. I particularly recommend their free laundry service. This hotel is definitely worth recommending to friends visiting Dalian.

Hhrk0410I visited with my children for a hot spring trip. It was very cold outside, but as soon as we entered the hotel lobby, it felt incredibly warm. Ms. LIA was truly wonderful. She arranged a comfortable, child-friendly room for us and promptly delivered all the necessities we requested. Since it was our first time here and we weren't familiar with the area, she also recommended some fantastic restaurants near Gastein, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The hot springs were so relaxing and warming, and the breakfast was excellent too. This is definitely a place I'd love to visit again. Thank you so much!
