The hotel stay was quite good. It happened to be a cold spell these past two days, but the heating in the hotel was excellent – it even felt warm at night, not cold at all. Any issues were promptly addressed via WeChat, with quick replies. The room was also kept quite clean, and all the necessary facilities and amenities were there. What really stood out was the thoughtful service; there were all sorts of warm reminders, and complimentary honey water and coffee. When checking out, I stored my luggage, and when I came back later, feeling very cold, they even helped me with a cup of hot water to warm my hands and stomach. It felt like it warmed more than just my hands; it warmed my heart. It was a truly great stay, and I'll definitely come back next time.

This hotel is truly amazing! It's located right downstairs from the Middle Street Pedestrian Street commercial area, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. There are even nearly century-old shops like Laobian Dumpling Restaurant within walking distance. All the major shopping malls are nearby, which is a huge plus. The front desk staff are also very friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel's facilities and location are both exceptional. They offer a service to pick up your order and even deliver it to your room for free via a robot. There's also a dryer available for use here. The 26th-floor observation deck with its telescope offers a spectacular panoramic view of the area. I was extremely satisfied with my stay 🌟. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable and soft that I slept soundly until morning. The service was also very thoughtful; the front desk staff were friendly, making me feel right at home. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great, energizing me every day. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

I was extremely satisfied!
The front desk staff were very welcoming and even gave me a small gift. I was also very pleased with the room itself. The bed was incredibly comfortable – very soft but I didn't feel tired at all after sleeping on it. As someone with a herniated disc who usually can't sleep on soft beds, I felt great after a night's rest, and the pillow height was just right.
The bathroom and shower had excellent dry/wet separation, the disposable slippers were thick, and they even provided laundry detergent and complimentary bottled water. My room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped, and everything felt high-quality!
It's probably less than a 10-minute walk to the subway station, which I found very convenient!

Facilities: A bit dated, with small cracks on the cabinet above the mini-fridge and some wall areas, as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it's nothing major and doesn't affect the stay; considering it's a hotel over ten years old, one shouldn't be too demanding. The hotel's facilities are generally complete, with standard luxury hotel amenities. The breakfast is decent; it offers more variety than some Westins but less than some Marriotts. However, the quality is good, especially the desserts which are delicious, and there's a wide selection of juices and milk. Some Marriott hotels even offer a full Cantonese dim sum spread, whereas here there are only a few hot dishes, making the variety seem limited, but the taste is excellent. The potatoes in the pork rib stew are very fragrant, and the boiled shrimp are quite large. All the fruits weren't sweet enough; the fruit quality could be improved.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: A landmark building in Dalian, nestled against the mountain and overlooking the sea – definitely worth a visit. It's even more stunning for photos at night. It's about a 10 to 15-minute walk downhill, and a bit far from the subway station, but it's away from the city's hustle and bustle, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's a sky garden on the 5th floor, and the lobby is magnificent; any photo taken there looks great.
Service: Thoughtful and attentive. Someone helps open car doors and handle luggage upon arrival. There's a dedicated butler service that tries its best to accommodate reasonable guest requests. The mini-bar requires extra payment, but a welcome fruit platter and dessert were provided, along with a large bottle of homemade beer. This hotel's beer isn't available online, but it's genuinely delicious.

This hotel near Zhongshan Square is a must-book for anyone visiting Dalian! The location is incredibly convenient; it's only about a 20-minute walk to Zhongshan Square or Nanshan Road. Getting to other attractions takes merely 10 minutes by car. Right downstairs, you'll find a wide array of seafood restaurants and snack bars – whatever you're in the mood for, it's just steps away. The environment is pleasant and remarkably quiet. Plus, the hotel's layout is well-designed, ensuring a very comfortable stay.

Excellent value for money. For a mid-range hotel in the 400-500 CNY price bracket, whether for business or leisure, it exceeded expectations in terms of location, hardware, electronic amenities, cleanliness, bed comfort, and the complimentary lobby bar. I'd like to particularly commend the soft services – the staff's proactive communication with guests when rooms were tight, their meticulous handling of items guests accidentally left behind, and the warm greetings and arrangements from the housekeeping staff all reflect the hotel's high management standards. It's a safe bet, definitely worth a repeat stay.

The purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

Had a very satisfying stay here! The hotel has its own parking lot in the back, which is super convenient. Water and ice are also provided for free, which is a nice touch. It's quite close to attractions like Zhongjie and the Marshal Zhang's Mansion, making it a great hotel overall. The room size was good too. For three adults traveling together, this place is really good value for money.

As someone who pays close attention to detail, this five-star hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The room facilities are impeccably maintained, and the smart control system is incredibly responsive, allowing voice control for lights and curtains – truly a high-tech experience. The bedding offers just the right softness, and the pillows come in both soft and firm options, showing a deep understanding of sleep needs. The hygiene is exemplary; there's not a speck of dust on the desk or a water stain on the vanity, and even the minibar glassware is sparkling clean. The service is thoughtful without being intrusive; the front desk proactively asks about check-in preferences, and housekeeping tidily folds any scattered clothes. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient shopping and dining nearby, yet it remains completely undisturbed by any noise. Although the breakfast selection isn't massive, every dish is exquisite and delicious, with the made-to-order noodle station being particularly amazing. The attention to detail in every aspect truly deserves a five-star rating!

AAnonymous UserDuring the National Day holiday, I brought my child to Qinghe Peninsula. After checking in, I added the concierge on WeChat. Since our room wasn't ready yet, my family and I went straight to the hot spring area.
The hot spring area is divided into an indoor water play zone and an outdoor hot spring zone. Both areas are very large and offer a lot to do. The water in the play zone was comfortably warm, and my child had a great time. After leaving the hot springs, I contacted the concierge, who brought the room key and led us to our room. The room I booked was quite far from the elevator, which was a bit inconvenient. Although the room was large, it was very cold, and I'm not sure why there was no air conditioning. The room itself was clean, and there was a private hot tub on the balcony with very warm water.
I want to specifically highlight the excellent concierge service. They provided us with an electric heater, and because we had a baby with us, they brought extra bottles of mineral water. They also patiently reminded us to be careful about slipping when using the hot springs. Overall, the experience was quite good, and my family was very happy with the arrangements. They even said they'd like to come back more often.

MM27385****This hotel is a hidden gem for families with kids, making our stay easy and heartwarming! My biggest concern when traveling with a three or four-year-old is finding suitable accommodation, but this hotel completely put my worries to rest. They thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and a small plush toy. The room was spacious, and the bed height was perfect for little ones to get in and out of. The breakfast at the Horizon Club was also excellent. During our stay, the Guest Relations Manager, Lisa, checked in with us daily to see how we were doing, which was a very thoughtful and meticulous touch! This hotel gets full marks and is definitely a top choice for families with kids. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a fantastic location. Right outside, you'll find a scenic viewing platform, conveniently situated between Gates 3 and 4. For just 20 RMB, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the shuttle bus all day, which conveniently connects all gates from 1 to 7. Gates 3 and 7 offer water activities, while Gate 6 features a charming beach dotted with pink tents. If you're looking for dining options, Gates 1 and 2 have a wider selection. In the evenings, Gate 3 also hosts vibrant stage performances. The hotel rooms are generously sized. Photos 1, 7, and 10-13 below were all taken from the hotel balcony, showcasing the stunning views. In the evenings, you can clearly hear the lively buzz from the Gate 3 performances, and at 9:30 PM, you're treated to the spectacular fireworks display from Discoveryland. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the subway station, easy to take a taxi, and there are trams nearby. The biggest advantage is that it is quiet, especially quiet! The window of the room I stayed in was right outside the Xinghai Park. It was particularly good that I couldn't hear any sound when I closed the window. The small courtyard at the entrance is very beautiful, and the store is decorated in style. The room is clean and has no odor, but the bathroom door is transparent which is a bit embarrassing😅 Going out from the small back door of the hotel is Xinghai Park, and it takes less than ten minutes to get to the beach.
VVerusha GovenderBayshore hotel was an amazing stay we stayed in the family suite and it met our expectations. Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was okay, they did t have much of a western spread but it was up to standards just the food was always cold. The location was great it was really close to Xinghai park and xinghai square. The only issue we had was the elevator I know the concept of the twin elevator was innovative but during peak time you would wait a good 5 to 10 min for the elevator. However the stay was great and I would definitely consider staying at bayshore hotel again.
LLeedear- usually solo traveler but socialableHotel is located on Youhao Rd. It's along one of the roads away from the railway station. At night, it can be noisy but not too bad. Best feature of the room: automatic curtains. It gets bright early in Dalian. The free breakfast was very good. Wide spread from local foods to western cereals/yoghurt and breads and a buffet selection of cooked food. Lobby is on 16th floor so u have to take a lift up.

AAdam 亚当 !Our stay started off a little bit chaotic, as the AC in our room is broken and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom. Also we had a late check-out as we needed to sleep more however the cleaner disrupted our sleep. After this we spoke with the manager and she was very kind and made up for many of the issues that we had during our stay.
- Note: The hot springs are great! many different pools and not too busy when we arrived.
