Weekend Macau Staycation Solo Diary đ | Treasure Island Hotel Guide
No early mornings, no socializing, just a quiet moment to recharge solo.
Staycations are truly rejuvenating! đ
đ YOHO Treasure Island Hotel - Pure Gold (Treasure Island) Firework Seaview Room
đ The room offers a stunning view of the Macau Tower at night when lit up â absolutely gorgeous. This room type is a must-book during the firework festival!
đ The infinity pool on the second floor of the hotel is a fantastic spot for photos. đââïž Lying there soaking up the sun felt like I was back in Bali! đïž
đïž The gym equipment is more than enough for a beginner like me. Sweating it out while running with a view of the Grand Lisboa & Almeida Ribeiro Street is truly refreshing.
đȘ§ The location is superb, right on the peninsula. It's only a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Guests get free parking upon check-in, plus 3 hours of free parking for all guests, with additional free hours for spending! This is super friendly for those who drive!!!
Dining, a supermarket đ, and a cinema đŹ are all downstairs in the YOHO Treasure Island Mall. The Jellycat tennis đŸ charm and the small bear soft necklace 𧞠are so cute!!!
For lunch, I had a Five Guys burger đ â I absolutely love their bacon cheeseburger; the beef patty is so juicy.
In the afternoon, I went to CAFĂ KITSUNE for coffee âïž. The coffee art had the brand's classic little fox design. The dessert display had a wide variety of beautiful pastries.
In the evening, I had an authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot at Hoi Wan Hoi Kei, then went to Bona International Cinema to watch the latest Zootopia 2. It was so chill âš. The seats were large and comfortable, and there were USB charging ports and small lights.

I stayed in the South Wing, and my window overlooked the back of Studio City. The room was decent and comfortable. The shower pressure was amazing; it filled the tub in minutes, making for a really refreshing shower.
There were outlets on both sides of the bed, which was convenient for charging devices. The room also had good Wi-Fi signal.
Check-in was on the right as you entered the main lobby, in a very grand, red-themed area. The front desk staff's Mandarin wasn't great; they mixed English and Mandarin, which made it a bit hard to understand. I'd suggest more Mandarin training for them.
It was about a ten-minute walk from the hotel's second floor to The Venetian and The Londoner. Express check-out is supported; there's a machine on the first floor of the South Wing right out of the elevator where you can drop your room card. Luggage storage was also very convenient.
To catch the shuttle bus, you need to go to B1. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel seemed to be shared with The Venetian; the bus itself was branded for The Parisian, but you wait under The Venetian's awning. It drops off at The Londoner first, then The Parisian.
I wanted to go to the Ruins of St. Paul's on Monday, but there was no shuttle service there that day.
The Parisian's shopping mall was pretty empty and didn't have many stores.
This five-star hotel perfectly blends French elegance with Macanese charm. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the dining options are diverse and plentiful. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants and transportation. The hotel facilities are excellent, making it ideal for both a relaxing getaway and exploring the city. The service is professional and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay.
I had a wonderful stay at Harbour View Hotel Macau. The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made check-in seamless. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the breathtaking sunrise views from the window. The hotel also provides good dining options and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Harbour View Hotel Macau offers excellent value for a memorable stay, whether for leisure or business. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Macau.
I've been to Macau many times, and this is my third time staying overnight. The first time, I stayed at an affordable guesthouse in the old city center â clean and tidy, right across from Wen Ji Cafe & Snacks. It wasn't far from Grand Lisboa and St. Paul's Ruins. The second time, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza near the Gongbei Border Gate. The room was super spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. This time, a few of us bit the bullet and booked a room at The Venetian đ â decided to splurge a bit. They said it was a Royal Presidential Suite, and it even came with two tickets to the Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower (the front desk lady mentioned that the 7th floor is actually free to visit now). The rooms in Macau, compared to neighboring Hong Kong, are not just a little bit better [facepalm]. It really is a city centered on entertainment and service industries, with a different positioning than Hong Kong. We took a private car from Hong Kong, and as soon as we got out, a young man helped us with our luggage and gave us a luggage tag. When checking in, you just give the tag to the front desk, and your luggage is automatically delivered to your room. The room was large and spacious, with a separate living room and two TVs. To put it bluntly⊠the bathroom in this suite could rival an entire Hong Kong hotel room in size! The bed đ was huge and comfortable, the sofa was great, and the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows was pretty good too â though I imagine the view would be even better from the opposite rooms. Next time, if I get the chance, I'll try out Galaxy and Studio City too [smirk]. Even though it's not ** (missing original text, likely referring to 'cheap'), it's definitely worth experiencing [evil grin]. In mainland terms, almost all hotels in Taipa can be considered top-tier luxury, haha⊠especially with all the rumors surrounding Wynn Palace, haha⊠so much 'color' has been added to it⊠Macau is truly unforgettable and suitable for people of all ages to visit. Thumbs up!
The location is not really very convenient and itâs not directly connected to most ****** so youâll have to expect to pay for public transportation mostly. For other hotels, u can usually travel between Macau and Taipa with their shuttle buses for free. For this hotel, the shuttle bus system isnât very good, the frequency of departure is low and the operating time is limited. The walking route that shows on google maps isnât quite accurate so be prepared.
Staying at Studio City's Celebrity Tower was a truly dazzling surprise during my trip. The room layout was spacious and airy, featuring a light aesthetic with 300-thread-count bedding. The down comforter promised a night of blissful sleep, while the panoramic windows offered a captivating view of Cotai, beautifully complemented by the silhouette of The Parisian Macao. The smart touch control system allowed for one-touch management of lighting and curtains, and thoughtful details like mainland power sockets and free in-room entertainment were much appreciated. The mini-bar's specialty snacks added an extra touch of warmth.
The hotel's location is superb, with seamless connections via shuttle bus and the light rail. It's conveniently situated next to shopping districts and the Cotai Arena, making it easy to attend exhibitions or explore. The staff provided warm and attentive service, from efficient check-in guidance to prompt responses to requests. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. In my downtime, I enjoyed a swim in the heated pool or a stroll around the resort, where entertainment and shopping needs were met all in one place. This stay, a blend of luxury, comfort, smart technology, and convenience, truly elevated my Macau experience.
This time I took my parents on a getaway! The main difference from before is that the shuttle bus now drops you off at the East Gate, so we checked in at the East Gate front desk. At the time, I thought the front desk had moved. However, when we went up to our room in the afternoon, we realized it was still in the West Wing (where the old check-in desk still is đ). This time, the front desk lady upgraded me to a garden view room, which was amazing â I could even watch planes landing! Plus, there's now an additional shuttle bus to the Cotai Strip, making it much more convenient to get to The Londoner and The Parisian than before.
Great hotel location with a stunning rooftop view, especially beautiful at sunset. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the hotel facilities were excellent. They even provided a charger and nail clippers in the room! The front desk ladies, Delia, Selene, and Erica, were very enthusiastic and helpful. Plus, there's free luggage storage, which is incredibly convenient!
Convenient location: ~25 minutes from airport by taxi;
quiet area with a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores, but hotel itself has three own restaurants (Western, Chinese and Thai food) with affordable prices for big plates;
polite and friendly staff everywhere - special thanks to breakfast crew;
own bar has good selection of classic, modern cocktails and premium liquors and whiskey;
clean and neat rooms with necessary things, but my opinion: hairdryer was a little old and it took me longer to dry my short hair.

SShuangzizuopingguoThe hotel has a very festive appearance, with many rows of large red lanterns at the entrance and an impressive lobby. The room is very spacious, and it was comfortable even with three friends staying together. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of delicious food, and they refill items very quickly. Besides cars, there's also a shuttle bus service to and from Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, which is super convenient.

JJennieThe hotel's location is convenient; I'd highly recommend it if you're staying on the peninsula. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Although the room style is a bit dated, the overall cleanliness is good. The front desk staff are very helpful and you can store your luggage there. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus to the border, which is a great stress-reliever if you're not in a hurry.
MM44077****The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The rooms are well-equipped and complete, and the hygiene is clean, tidy, and comfortable. The lobby staff provided great service, a definite thumbs up! đ
I would choose this hotel again next time.
MM25939****After much deliberation, I chose this hotel. Its location is excellent, very close to all the nearby attractions, most of which are within walking distance. Check-in was super fast, and the lady at the front desk even offered a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a beautiful view. I was very satisfied with my one-night stay. The hotel breakfast was also great, offering a full spread of both Chinese and Western options. Although it's an older five-star hotel, the service and cleanliness are impeccable.
YYicituxinGreat location and very convenient for getting around, right next to Senado Square. The service was warm and polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money. The hotel is right next to New Yaohan department store, surrounded by tons of shops, restaurants, and snack places â everything you need. It was super easy to walk to the MGM Museum for an exhibition too!
SStevenOng.Hotel is old and tired, need renovation badly. However room is clean and tidy. Reception service was so-so and not welcoming. Check-in was good though, just the night time when approached another receptionist for my own room number but was given a cold and not welcoming reply. It was normal for guest to forget their own room numbers as they donât stay permanently. However a simple way to verify was guest able to give his identity numbers and name. Or hotel can always accompany the guest to the room to verify. However this guy was so unpleasant and blunt in his replied. Will not stay again in this hotel.
